Longplay requested by forum member tray4020. I played this game with an emulator obviously, so that's why the drawings are so crappy (you have to draw with your mouse, not that I am much better with a pencil but still not that bad!)
A fun game but the mini games are killing it.

This was one of my favorite titles for the ds not to mention one of my earliest ones too. It got ridiculously hard later on, as you'll see in the volcano level.

Maybe so. I was pretty bad at it, because I was always nervous around potential sources of instant death. Which is basically the main mechanic of the volcano.
That Blowhole Castle level is still the hardest video game level I've ever played. The Waterworks were no joke either.
I never even got past the museum level...

Is no one going to point out that the words “boob tube” were spoken in an officially licensed Nintendo game.
"Boob" meant fool back then, so I guess boob tube is the same as "idiot box" or something, referring to how TV is making people stupid. Still, this is quite the archaic term for DS game.

Something I noticed while watching this walkthrough is that only red chests contain collectibles worth making money from. Green chests contain Guise Gems and Mastery Gems, and purple chests contain useful items
The last time I played this game was in 2010. I stopped on episode 6. I return to it 10 years later and used this tutorial to get through episode 6!!! Lol. Now I'll finish the game! Woo

I saw this game on a shelf in a video game and movie rental store, but seeing footage of the actual game makes me realize how boring it really is. I enjoy Wario when he's not trying to avoid getting caught stealing and arrested!

@@localmenace3043 ...the overly long text/player conversational tutorials that could have explained features and gamelay with hieroglyphs, and the player actually having to figure out what to do, through level design, and gameplay.
If you compare this game's tutorials vs. Wario Land 4's, you will see how Wario Land 4 directs the player through visualization, and it is the player's comprehension of what to do, and doing it, that gets them throughthe level; compared to looong, drawn-out conversations telling people what to do.
Or, if you watch video's on how level 1-1of Super Mario Bros. is designed to force the player to understand the game's basic mechanics, through doing. The condescension of a bad tutorial, is telling a player how to play a game, rather than showing, and letting them figure it out. Telling a player how tp play a game takes longer, too (Think of playing a board game, is it more fun for another player to fill you in on how to play, while you play, or is it more fun to read the rulesheet? The rulesheet is more comprehensive, but I know I do not retain the rules, until I encounter them in the game.)
Cuphead is a recent example of a video game that has a good tutorial.

You know, now that I think about it, was there any need to have the game take place in a TV World? It could have easily taken place in the real world, so to speak.
Special Episode 5 was too Hard
despite the fact that I like Wario 100 times more than Mario due to his crude humor and his money hungry antics, I was disappointing with this game because it was too Slow-placed, the disguises were terrible, the controls were too clunky, and its poor Stylus used. I just wish that Nintendo makes another Wario Land game that was like the original Wario Land games on the GBC and GBA (Wario land world and Wario land shake it were good too but not as fun as the GBC and GBA Wario games).

I was very interested in this game and then watching various videos of people playing this game and the HUGE inconsistency of the touch screen(which pretty much makes up 90% of the gameplay) just turned me off. No need to get frustrated in a "meh" of a game. Plus, it's HELL-a-expensive for a CIB copy on eBay(which is beyond ridiculous for this particular DS game). I guess I'll just stick to my physical copies of Wario Lands: I, II, 3 and 4(CIB). No thanks, Suzak Inc..
