It's literally like travel back into time and going back to when you were a kid,and just seeing all the awesome things that happened,all the awesome things that you did as a kid.Then, when you come back to the present to realize that life is moving on,so are you as your getting older.I'm 19,I was born in the year,2001 and I literally graduated High School last year and I have a job.I used to play that game when I was in Elementary School, and that was a long time ago.Seeing gameplay videos of these types of games really brings back memories of when I was a kid and it probably brings back memories to other people when they were a kid as well.

the game is not that fun, nor does it have a story mode, making the game more arcade-style, they try to compensate with the game controls that are bad, in the wii version, you have to swing the wiimote all the time, making the players get tired fast, the ds is the same, it can even scratch the screen, or break the L and R buttons, it's nothing new, other olympic games for video games besides the mario & sonic series were already like this.
Don't forget about Crowns! To get a character crown, you have to get a gold medal in every event with the same character. For example, to get Luigi's crown (an Olympic wreath, by the way), you have to win all events with Luigi. Each character has a different crown

Yo I got this when I was a 6 little bit of a chunky year old boy and I was in the program for the Benjing China 2008 Olympics in Bronx, New York as a field trip in 1st grade, only have 2 events to be in, I was against older people in middle or high school, got 2nd place in long jump and 3rd place in 100m. I was mad cause I want to be in 1st place in either events, good times, good times in the 2000s. And at Propesct av and the elementary in that street.
I thought I had the winter Olympic games at first, but I realize I may have had this one because I remember a music player and the Simon says esk mini game. It's such vivid memories but wow I played this a bit. I lost all of my ds games long ago though, excluding nsmbds.
Just got this game again recently and I'm pretty glad I did. I'm honestly confused on how to do those dashes in the footraces, if anyone knows how I'd appreciate the 411 on how. Either way this game is a huge nostalgia trip for me.
