Just picked up the Dual Power flush from Lowes. Holy "crap"...When i flush the number 2 button you can hear and feel a "kick coming from it like an air piston. It's a 2 second flush!
Ive had two of these toilets for 8 years or so. I can not recommend them at all. They do not flush strong enough and the water pressure sucks too. Its always a dirty bowl, but the worst part is i constantly have to call the plumber to clear my main line. Because this barely has any water and it just sits in the mainline and not going to the city side
Any way to adjust the fill valve? Seems to take forever to fill the bowl after the number 1 flush.. Or perhaps the house has lower water pressure? Im looking at swapping my toilet for one of these bad boys in white.. Pretty awesome it comes with a seat also considering they run about $20 a pop.
@@7x779 I’ve installed a bunch of different toilets I personally don’t like duel flush ones I like the glacier bay one it’s the one that flushes 8 billard balls? It’s a dang good one at a good price. Or a Toto are real good one at a higher price
It's not worth it. The ones they sell today (they redesigned them) are different than this and the flush on them is so horrible that it only covers about half the sides. If you want a toilet that constantly needs cleaning, this is the one for you. Also I had one of these and the porcelain quality was horrible. There were bumps all over it, holes in the glaze, and the tank didn't line up properly. I usually just leave them where they are or throw them away when I get them so I highly advise you to look into the Aquasource Henshaw from Lowes.
Honestly I don’t trust Glacier Bay toilets because they’re known for crapping our quickly. I’m not saying these are the worst, but there’s far better. I think Kohler fixtures are the way to go. Great video as always
@@ABCD-eg5ky Glacier Bay is made by some generic chinese company, Kohler makes their fixtures at their own manufacturing plants in Thailand, the US, and Mexico. Glacier Bay has their fixtures imported from China.
@@RRXingThusie I just saw someone claim glacier bay was made by kohler.. I don't know what the real deal is. However I can say I now have installed 2 in my home and they are both very nice and I can highly recommend. We are only living here for about 5.5 years so we shall see if they last.
I've had mine for 5 plus years and it flushes with zero issues. Either you have low water pressure in your house, shittttting way too bricks at once🤣🤣 or you're pressing number 1 to send your #2 to the finish line
How? Why do you leave so many comments with no explanation? Is it because you have to flush this more than once? This one uses the most water on 1 Flash then any other choice at home depot, 1.6 gallon versus 1. 28 . You would think all the other choices would need to be flushed more than this one
@@7x779 I have owned a number of these and the flush is inadequate and doesn't remove waste from the bowl. There is hardly any water that reaches the middle of the bowl when it flushes so what you put in just kinda... sits there. Also the ceramic quality on these is horrible so consider yourself lucky If it doesn't leak. That goes for most toilets like this that are made in Mexico (I'm not joking, it actually does matter where it's made). I recommend the Aquasource Henshaw from Lowe's because it has good performance, a good flush, good ceramic quality, a fully glazed trapway, and it's only $89.

@@7x779 yeah... the height is good. Elongated seat, check. Flush is strong. We haven't had any clogs yet. The only issue my wife complained about recently is the bowl water height. She says she has to clean more because the bowl water height is kinda low. I raised it to max capacity and she still feels like it's a little low. I could spend $20? bucks and change out the internal components with an adjustable design. But she said it wasn't a big enough deal to bother with. But hey for $99 we changed the seat to a beamis for $38. Even to change the bowl hardware for $20 ... that's still a great deal! I think the toilet itself cleans up nicely. Quick question is that all the water you get in the bowl
You can adjust the water to get more
@@BudgetClan You can't. The water level in the bowl tops off when it reaches the crown weir and then it just overflows into the drain.
