    Back to my elementary school years in China, it was very common that the PE teacher asked us to do something like the ATG squat as a warm up exercise. We called it 压腿 at that time, meaning “press legs” literally in Chinese. But we have forgotten how good it is as a leg exercise.

I haven’t even started implementing your principles and advice, but you resurrected my belief and confidence that I can regenerate my knees and not just degenerate with time, because that’s what’s been happening to me since I was in middle school and now at 27 yo with thorn MFPl, extremely unstable knee cap (popped at lest 10 times in my life), knee pain and sickeningly loud grinding noise coming from both joints, I have no doubt my curve is changing direction upwards from now on. Oh man! I’m sorry to hear that. Thank you so much for your support, I’d love to help.
      My system is a very gentle progression and I teach every regression for the exercises so anyone can do it without experiencing pain! It’s very safe.
      I am not a doctor and thus legally cannot give any medical advice. However, I have arguably the most knee success stories in history and dozens of those are from doctors themselves who now use my system with their patients. So from a legal perspective, you would have to have a doctor tell you when you can start. But I would like you to study the starting point of my system: ua-cam.com/video/gNS_QjGAs_k/v-deo.html This way you can see for yourself how gentle it actually is to get started. I hope this helps you and I hope to keep guiding you from this point!

      At ATG we don’t address conditions. Conditions have their place but we believe the human body was designed correctly, and our role in the system is helping you travel a route of improving your pain-free ABILITIES.
      For example, 2006 chronic knee conditions have resolved on our route thus far.
      While we are known for knees, we are actually a full body fitness system of:
      Zero (bodyweight-only, 30 minute sessions)
      Dense (gradual dominance of additional load, 30 minute sessions)
      Standards (strength system of measurable targets for 20 human motions, 30 minute sessions)
      Bulletproof (off-season pro athlete transformation, 60 minute sessions, etc.)

      All programs follow the same schedule:

      You can learn the entire system on the site from Day 1, and we use an app to coach your form and answer your questions under 24 hours, 7 days a week.

    I have had a hyper extension when I was younger, and I recovered fully in about 3 months back to full power, and 6 years later, I am finding your videos, and I am hearing a small little click when doing flat atg split squats. There is no pain at all. Do I regress it or keep going, and will it subside or will I always have a small little click in my knee.

    • @TheKneesovertoesguy
      @TheKneesovertoesguy  3 роки тому +4

      Oh wow. I am sorry to hear that. I would love to help! Regression is key. For anyone starting the ATG system, the most important rule is 1. NEVER WORK THROUGH PAIN. Although research indicates a pain level of 2 or 3 (on a scale of 1 to 10) is acceptable when rehabbing, I believe even a 2 or 3 is UNACCEPTABLE because it increases your chances of doing more destruction than construction, and we simply have too good of solutions for you to give up the goal of training without pain. Achieving Pain-Free MUSCLE burn is the goal of each movement, because that means you are maximizing the chances for constructive adaptation. REMEMBER! Pain = Destruction, Pain-Free Muscle Burn = Construction (upon adequate recovery).
      Most people will fail due to…
      1. Lack of form coaching
      2. Missing key ingredients (ie. not following the whole program)

    before i even watch this video, i can say this the knee noise for me has just been a reinforcement aspect of the movements you have provided. After a while they are gone and i can move at a larger ROM. everytime my ROM increases what once cracked at a specific range no longer cracks or makes noises, only if i go to that said range.

      Awesome! I HIGHLY recommend you go through my ENTIRE system though....
      The reason people fail is due to....
      1.) Missing a key part to my system
      2.) Lack of form coaching
      ...both of these issues are remedied for you when you sign up at:
      www.atgonlinecoaching.com
      #1 is solved from my comprehensive Knee Ability system..
      The system is very precise. Knee Ability Zero uses 10 specific movements to prep for Dense Strength, which uses 20 specific movements to prep for Standards, which uses 20 different specific movements, all progressed from Dense! It’s AMAZING how much one person can transform, but HIGHLY unlikely without following the correct path WITH form coaching along the way. By actual survey, males ALTER the form 90% of the time to a degree which would prevent the end goals of the route from being achieved. (Females are quite a bit better at form.) Each exercise has a context within the entire system. Every move has a purpose and when mastered with perfect form, allows even MORE gains on the next step, than a regular human could make who didn’t master the previous step first. There’s a lot of data on the internet but I have not seen a system this precise and we still stand alone as the most dedicated team to actually watching and coaching your form after each session. So bias aside, we quite literally work hardest for your dollar.
      # 2 is solved from our precise form coaching platform...

    Can make a video on pelvic tilt. Or a hip hike due to imbalance of hip muscles?

    • @TheKneesovertoesguy
      @TheKneesovertoesguy  3 роки тому

      We have never had issue with pelvic tilt because our exercises such as ATG Split Squat actually lengthen the surrounding areas. I don't want to get "medical" but I simply have not seen issue with pelvic tilt due to how our system works to give the hips exceptional length and strength in all surrounding ranges. Many have commented on it handling their hip issues, actually. Start by studying this video: ua-cam.com/video/zYJenidorKQ/v-deo.html
