- This is my piano version of Octavarium by Dream Theater.
Sorry for mistakes, I'm not as good as Jordan Rudess (yet) :-)
I haven't music scores, this is my arrangement.

I rate "Octavarium" right up there with "A Change of Seasons" as one of Dream Theaters greatest achievements. Wonderful version, I loved it!

I wanted to transcribe this whole masterpiece for Double Bass and Bassoon as a duet, because I wanted to play it with my girlfriend that I really love, I had finished the Full Circle part and 2 days after that she broke up with me ... It makes me cry every time I hear this song ... Great cover man, thank you for the awesomnes and talent sharing. Cheers
That keyboard solo is a tall task for the right hand to carry out alone. A noble attempt sir, trying to do what Jordan did with half the fingers.
Rudess plays it with one hand. But yeah, playing it with 2 hands is hard because maintaining focus on the bassline is annoying when so much is going on the lead. More importantly, those annoying B minor upward arpeggios are annoying enough on semi weighted keys. Playing them with full weight is a task indeed.
