Bro you’re 100% correct you’re in Vietnam it’s definitely very difficult to be A negative person surrounded by such positive beauty and surroundings.👍👍🍻🍻
I'm Japanese, and Vietnam was the best country I've ever visited. The delicious food, beautiful nature, and kind people make it a paradise on earth. Watching your video made me miss the beautiful days I spent in Vietnam 🥰
I felt the same. It has its pros and cons but the pros far out weigh. The people are fabulous. The food great. The generosity and chill personality was awesome. The best place to visit
I am Vietnamese who is now traveling in the UK for summer holiday. It is really nice to know you enjoy my country’s food as much as I enjoy your country’s food.
That guy in the market who sold you the backpack has amazing English. The sounds of Vietnamese are so different, so for someone to get that good without a teacher shows incredible motivation and persistence. He must have started young.

I live in Japan and flew to Da Nang 10 years ago and had one of the most relaxing holidays. The people were lovely, the old city of Hoi An was beautiful, and the country was so verdant. Great memories, I hope direct flights from Haneda to Da Nang return ond day!
The fan running in the living space is probably pushing the cold air back into the bedroom. If you shut that off and put a portable fan in the bedroom directing the air towards the door it might work better.
Pro Tip: When riding a scooter, wear a surgical mask if you plan on opening your mouth to talk to your passenger or on your Bluetooth earphones ! Bugs / dirt / commuters in front will have things flying into your mouth !! Glasses / sunglasses / or a visor helps stop crap going in your eyes as well
Okay on the cooling system problem your having with the two rooms. Here is just a little fix for you. set up two box fans one placed in the doorway of the bedroom. Another sm. box fan placed at the sliding glass door leading to the balcony. keeping the ceiling fans on and turning the box fans on will create a good draft of cool air flowing around the place. try also to limit sun exposure in the rooms, having a sun lit by natural sunlight can heat a room up quickly, throwing a heavy quilt or blanket over a window to block sunlight at hot times during the day will help.

If wall mounting is a problem with the management, it would be easy enough to build a simple wooden framework stand to mount the fan to (it won't damage anything). If Da Nang is anything like the Philippines, you should be able to find a local laborer relatively inxepensive to build/install a stand for the fan that would do the job (save you the hastle of finding materials and tools for the job)
Thank you so much for this great video. Very valuable intel for me as I plan to visit Da Nang in March 2025 for 90 days. I like beach lifestyle and I believe Da Nang should be perfect for my slow travel. I have also purchased your E-Book which contains valuable information for my research.
I'm in/from California and can't quite understand why our coffee is so terrible? The first time I really figured it out I was waiting for the train outside the airport in Amsterdam and I bought a cappuccino from a vending machine, it was glorious! Later that trip in Italy, I started drinking midday espresso, I've been hooked ever since! Now I pretty much exclusively drink Vietnamese coffee at home, Turkish/Mediterranean, with a touch of cardamon, or a proper Italian cappuccino while out and about. I can't stand Starbucks or Pete's coffee, and frankly I don't understand why anyone drinks that bitter swill? IMHO? cheers:)
i love da nang. Me and my wife visit at least once or twice a year. We are booked in to visit this christmas time. Cant wait to get back, we also love nha trang too
Cooling the lounge room from the bedroom is easy - put a fan in the doorway between the rooms pointing it out of the bedroom and bang! It will make a big difference
you may want to try improving the insulation in the "living room", by getting the exterior windows tinted, re-caulked, new weather stripping on the doors, upgrading the exhaust fan in the bathroom, and look into a portable/window mount AC unit? Actually there are lots things you can try, just think about where the heat is coming from and try to keep it out! Cheers:)
Use that small fan you have on a stand in the bedroom doorway to blow the cool air into the living room area, shouldn’t take much to cool that little place down. Yes, I think you have convinced me to come, hopefully one of these days. I thoroughly enjoyed this video, you have earned a new subscriber here.😊
Hard to argue with your assessments of Da nang and Vietnam in general. For one thing the beach, from the 'marble mountain' headland southward toward Hoi An (called China beach by US soldiers) is one of the best in the world for sure. Looks stunning, is broad with plenty of stable sand and, unlike Mui Ne and Nha Trang, has a decent swell and surf. Was there myself only a couple of weeks ago. The usual north bound tourist trail from District 1 Saigon to Hanoi is nice but left wanting to spend more time.

You are the best UA-camr about Da Nang.Actually i have been contacted by some agency in Danang about reviewing their apartments if i come there.People there are very friendly indeed 🎉
Well... If you never solved the ventilation issue, all you need to do is put a fan in the doorway between the two rooms directing air from the bedroom into the living area.
I had the same problem with the glass wall. I used a box fan in the doorway blowing out into the living room . No box fan, but you have a fan on a stand , aim it up blowing into the bedroom. Took roughly ten minutes.
Good content, that kid sold me the exact same bag for 170K 3 months ago, I use it daily as my gym bag, washed multiple times, it's still perfectly fine!
They should have installed a dual head mini-split A/C unit since the rooms are separated. Only thing you can do is get a floor fan to blow it from the bedroom into the other room. Great video!!

13:17 ok simply put a ventilator in front of the open bedroom door to blow the cooled air into the kitchen, should work ok. That's a lot of apartment for 240$!
Da nang was better 10 years ago before all the expats and vloggers moved in. It was untouched and raw beauty. Now its just another busy beach city getting more crowded and polluted every day. Also food is more expensive than Saigon.
@@joseescalante8506 Diversity kills culture. When you have a bunch of expats taking over a city or place the locals leave and take their food and culture with them. Then we get a little Russia, Mexico, UK etc where all the expats are living or hanging out.
Are you staying in Da Nang now? Our basic food just around 20 - 30.000vnd, Ho Chi Minh City is double price of that. Now more people come, more crowded come. If you are not here, hope you can come to Danang again and see what happen in here, your experience is your answer about Danang.
@@CooperElliot-nj1wm Take a look at Phuket Thailand and what happened there. It's all foreigners now. Da nang is on the same path. Another example of how diversity kills culture. Why would I move to X only to find Y people living there now?

@@kippsguitar6539 I watched so many great videos about da nang from all different kind of people / vloggers they won’t be all lying for no reason. I guess it’s your ur personal opinion/ matter of taste and that’s totally fine
@@BeatX3D based on experience, the climate is really harsh though and that's a scientific fact.you can easily research, it has the longest wet season in Vietnam and when it's not raining it's unbelievably hot and humid, spent decades in Asia and the vast majority of my Vietnamese friends agree bit good luck, next door hoi an is an absolutely beautiful place bit sadly now overrun with UA-camrs and tourists, enjoy
if you want to have fresh air in the other room just take off that small glass on top of the glass door and fit a squarish extractor fan with louvres slanted down (;buy one from a home-depot like the ones they install in bathrooms. maybe an 8 inch one ) so that it pushes the cool breeze of the AC out and downwards to the other side
Anyways nice video - Im more into Thailand but I visited Vietnam Twice but not Danang
Any chance you could post a location for the bánh mì vendor? Seems like a good recommendation and I would love to try it when I’m in Da Nang.

Thanks for this. Am very keen to see more from Danang. Or have you moved on? Cheers from NZ
I'm still here, there will be at least one more video from Da Nang
Great video and thanks for sharing. I would really jump at the opportunity. Vietnam looks great and affordable. Do you guys work remotely?
This UA-cam channel is my only source of revenue at the moment. Poured savings into it for 6 months but thankfully it’s starting to generate a little income now.
@@OliBarrettTravel All the best and again, thanks for sharing.
Remove the glass above the door so the air could come into the next room...should still be able to keep the privacy.
Can you show us a tour of how the passenger trains are like in Vietnam, and what the different classes in a Vietnamese train are like? Like maybe you could do a trip on a Vietnamese train from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi in the business class and then do regular chair class on the way back
That’s a good idea! I’ll try to do that in the remaining month I’ll be there 🙂
@@nishantoz I'll do they for him, they are noisy, slow and uncomfortable just like the rest of Vietnam, avoid and fly if you must visit that hole of a country
I love your video and I need to visit Vietnam ❤
FAN blowing towards kitchen from bathroom,,,within 30min there be a cycle of wind consistently
Hey brother... try placing a fan in the threshold of your bedroom door pointing into your living room. Cold air sinks,,,so the fllor fan will push the cold air into your living room.
I enjoyed your video.
Safe travels!!!
I tried this already, it didn’t help a great deal unfortunately. Thanks for the advice though!
Looks like you're living the life over there mate, I went to Thailand in 2019 miss it everyday, and I'm so fed up with life in the uk, need to go back but just don't want to go on my own
You should add google map links to these places you are going. The avocado ice cream at Bac My An market is good. Not too sweet.
I watched the whole bloody thing haha, and it was worth it, thank you.
Great video thanks. That bike you hired monthly, where did you hire it from? Are they reputable? Thanks.
13:17 ok simply put a ventilator in front of the open bedroom door to blow the cooled air into the kitchen, should work ok. That's a lot of apartment for 240$!
I miss Vietnam 😢
Great video😊😊😊
Loved your video.. much insite I could do the old Man cockeny tour for my age group.. how have you managed to stay longer? Is it simple to just extend visa. You look a lovely couple..
