Keeping a RC car on the ground is easy. It'll go into the air just fine but always comes back onto the ground. I used to fly RC planes. Keeping them off the ground...

Yeah buddy!! It’s like we’re kindred spirits! I think we lived the same timeline. About 30 years ago I was into hobby grade (electric) RC cars. Dune buggy style mostly. I’d been up motors, servos, run batteries in series for more juice and kick up all kinds of rooster tails. My friends got into the nitro stuff but I had stopped by then. Your new channel just might get the bug to bite me again! Subbing right now!

Yea Buddy I'm in, I know we talked a bit about RC's in the past on your lives. They can be a heck of a lot of fun I myself have never given up on the hobby as I always had something since I was a kid 40 yrs. ago, but about 10 years ago when I took notice how good the electric ones have gotten I hit it hard again and am now mostly enjoying the bigger 1/8 scale stuff and larger, HPI was awesome with the Savage but lately for me it's all Traxxas x-maxx! Looking forward to see what and all you get into again with the hobby Thanks for sharing this with us brother.

Way cool used to race weeky associated RC10. Spent a lot of time with gears,transmissions and shocks. Making custom frames. That was a he'll of a lot of fun

@ToolsandTargets yeah I recently about 4 years ago got back into it myself. Was into it back in the mid 90"s and everything was wayyyy different then. I myself also fly rc planes as well. Mostly ww2 warbirds. You might want to look into that as well. Very fun. And now easy to learn. I have some of my Rc's on my channel to. Check it out. Good luck brother.
This is a cool idea! I like the idea of a crossover if you get one that you want to take your frustrations out on! That'll give you some moving target videos, if nothing else! Now that I think about it, you can drag targets and not even have to blast the underperformers, but if you "accidentally" put a Boom-Boom on one, that would be a proper ending to that little car! The Team Associated nitro trucks my dad and I own are still going after many many (did I mention many?) years. The bad part is finding parts for them when the common wear items finally run out of stock in the old parts bin (and the fuel since nobody within 100 miles of me carries it). The last electric car I owned was a Sears Lobo II when I was younger and didn't understand the concept of a throttle.

I have a 2WD Traxxas Stampede and some helicopters but I usually only get them out a couple times a year. And yes, I do crash a lot lol.

I watch a couple RC channels and haven’t owned one in like 15 years tho. Lol. But a lot has changed tho. These new battery powered RCs can have TONS of power. I’ve seen some absolutely wreck nitro powered. Of course there are a lot of variables but it looks fun tho. That Traxxas X-Max looks like an absolute BEAST. I want one so badly. They are like $1k but you can mod them up to be whatever you want. They are tough out the gate but you can make them nearly indestructible with mods.

I like your regular channel and most of the calibers you test there - most. That being said, I’m in my mid-60s and, though I will peek in perhaps to see what floats your boat, it will be a peek at best lol

Because for one so young, you have a lot of savvy and I’ve enjoyed watching your delivery grow over the years. Hell yea, I subbed. I play with nitro and electric cars, 2 and 4wd. I used to play with nitro planes, but now I fly electric ultra micro planes and drones... R/C everything is cool! 😊

@ToolsandTargets Nitro is fun. I also have a hydroplane with a K&B outboard that I haven't run. It's supposed to do 50 mph. Got a Racing OS Max powered AWD 66 Mustang 1/10 with a 2spd tranny. It was supposed to do 70+ with the stock motor... it's insanely quick. I put slightly taller, wider tires on it. I like noise and smoke... NITRO!!

Not into the little cars. My dad used to take me to the slot car tracks back in the 60's though. Then we started racing off road dune buggies. I'll subscribe because of your real channel. If you do shoot any little cars, do it while they are running and jumping. Be a sport about it. lol
