The fact that he said that was, "The happiest moment in my life." Says it all. Obviously this gentleman cares deeply for the sea on which he makes his living.

What an amazing experience, not just for you but the divers you were in charge of. For them it was a one time experience to come so close to such a magnificent creature. Don't forget that 99% of the sharks aren't dangerous to humans.
The kicking and thrashing that humans do while swimming is likely sending the shark the wrong message and thus we have bites, some very bad but not intentional. Divers swim peacefully with all the so-called dangerous ones (bull sharks, tiger sharks) all the time. Great Whites are shy and seldom do they swim with divers very close.
Brought a tear to my eye, if the shark thought you were trying to hurt it then it wouldve swam off the second the line was freed... but it didn't. It was evident that it knew you were a friend and not a foe. Absolutely loved this story.
Bless you, what a wonderful story. Sharks have such a bad rep, but here they are as gentle as can be, because they received kindness from a good human 💕🦈
That was pretty awesome! To see The compassion that he had to help that shark was amazing. And after the net was successfully removed the shark comes back with a friend, as if to say look this is the human that helped me. It's amazing what man and beast can do when working together.❤🦈🦈🦈

@@SeattleRaindrop206 I often think, when people like Inaki do these wondeful, humane gestures "Your legacy will be remarkable. No matter what they do for the rest of their lives, their tombstone could read 'He saved a shark"' I mean, imagine reaching across millions of years of seperation in evolution and positively effecting a being in need and on the verge of dying? An excellent video of humanity at it's best! As apex predators, sharks aren't stupid. All predators in the sea are aware of "cleaning", which can happen when they encounter certain other species and act in a certain way.
