these locations are actually nuts. I didn't know there were spots with double resources right next to eachother.
For anyone wanting good pals for your mining base Anubis, Blazamut and Reptyro are the best ones to use. Yes Digtoise has level 3 mining but he’s bugged right now and is terrible for using in a mining base. However if you have him in your party with his headband he destroys ore, coal, etc. and he’s good for using him with stone pits but for simply just mining ore, coal, quartz, etc. in your base he’s the worst one despite having level 3 mining.
Anubis also has insane handiwork and can transport!
literally was searching for a video like this forever and just did a coal mine somewhere else and now I am regretting not knowing that first place spot, it looks incredible, will probably unite the iron and coal farms into that one
I got the mod that makes that extends base build radius. Its not by an extreme amount but its just enough so i can snag it all.
Thank you for being one of the few that posts an aerial view of the base and nodes for the locations
If you don't want to waste a base for the sulfer nodes, the brothers of the eternal pyre tower is a great warp location. You can place a chest there and just manually mine.
The Anubis statue at the Anubis boss location also faces a patch of coal nodes at the bottom left side which you can build a base at.
Its a significant walk away from the statue, but just outside of the boss circle, for additional context.
The statue is facing the direction you need to go, head towards the left.
The area also doubles for gunpowder and palfluid farming, with Tucotuco and Damud spawns.
Not to mention you can farm Anubis.
These spots are currently advancing me into endgame
9, -526 metal (copper)
272, -230 metal, coal
-747, -444 sulfer*
-205, 247 quartz, 1 metal*
189 -37 coal, metal *
* - my recommendation for your 3 bases
You can get a lot of sulfur close to a fast travel on top of the west volcano, the eternal pyre tower, you can build a small outpost without a palbox because you need your third base to be a breeding base.
it saved a lot, I made the ore farm base like the other UA-cam videos, but I realized that I would need a lot of coal for the late game, good video. And also very nice guy, answered my questions on discord with great respect, thanks SiahZ ✌🍃
There's actually an AMAZING base location at around 189, -38. It's a plateau that's just the right size to fit a full base circle, has trees, ore, AND coal.
That was the #1 in the video 😂
@novatm13 Well, you see, I lack an attention span.
I like the last one alot good utility for both metal and coal im gonna use that, good video my guy
Glad the video could be of use :)
One spot i think is slept on is an iron ore spot near the wall / astagon icon. i found 10 ore nodes in one location -675, -290
At the location with coal down below, if you can fit it into the base circle, maybe just stick a bed, a chest, a feeding box and a hotspring down there and toss down an Anubis or two to deal with the coal while keeping everything else up top with the ore. You just need to remember to manually refill the feeder every so often since your farmers/transporters won't be able to do it.
Any crafting stations up top will be able to pull from the chest down there automatically without need to bring anything up yourself.
Base at 7:00 is insanely good for early-mid game and would def rec for either your second base or to replace your first base!
Nice locations and great coverage of info such as raids defence. Keep it up mate 👍🏼
I managed to make the camp that has the iron and coal up sky high. Place the pal station on the top and place it to cover all deposits. Then start making stairs from the bottom up starting to the side of the coal on a 2 x 6 form work your way up. The pals actually use the stairs small pals no large pals. I place turtles at the coal and ghost cats on the iron while some red witches for the gathering.
Please help. I've been struggling to put stairs in this base. I would really appreciate it if you could send me a photo for reference. Do you have a Discord?
I was able to build a mansion in the final area you showed 😂 it took a while to get the base correct before I was able to build walls but I got three levels to my base and it’s nice and wide each level being two walls high I could add as many as I’d like but I think three is enough for everything the game has.
My next base will be by the silver farm you just shown but also because I can use it to hatch eggs that need more heat 😊 thank you!
Does the resources from a mining base be available on another or do you have to transport it later?
Great video and thanks for keeping spoilers to a minimum! Have you found any spots with both coal and sulfur? I can only find one or the other but not near eachother. I have plenty of ore but I need a coal + sulfur farm
Sadly have not but I will be on the look out for that. I am also thinking about making another top 5 base locations so hopefully I will find one for that.
@SiahZ that would be great, thank you!
There is also a good coal spot in the desert where you find the miner turtles. Sulfer spawns near it so you could also auto the coal and manual the sulfer.
Huh haven't found that spot yet, going to have to check it out. Thanks for letting us know.
What’s the grid for that location ?
@@danielcortez8167 -153,-90. Nearest sulfer node is south of it, out of base range but walking distance.
What's the cords?
@@themattev3703 -155, -90
The digtoise are not good at mining when they're at your base. Take a closer look when they spin against those ore. See all those 1's? Take that same pal in your party and tell him to mine an ore that's not at your base. He'll do the spin but the numbers will be in the 30's or higher. There is a bug with digtoise. They definitely don't shred ore in your base. They just eat and mine a little bit.
digtoise is only good for mining when they are in your team but will take forever to mine when assigned to a base. put tombats in your bases when mining ores they don't sleep and will work all night paired with helzephyrs to pick up ores they dont sleep too.
swap out the tombats with anubis' when late game. you can breed anubis with penking x bushi
Hey why don’t you have map drift as you’re using a controller? There’s a bug in the game and my map when opened just drifts south
I haven't heard of that bug. Make sure your controller doesn't have stick drift.
happen with my old controller but my new one doesn't have that problem so probably just some older model of controllers may be the problem if it's way too sensitive
I have 1 more base i can build and can't decide if it should be a coal base or a quartz base. Quartz is harder to get but im not sure how much you'll actually need. While coal, you'll need a ton, but it's way easier to get since it's in basically every dungeon.
Agreed and while the base on top of the hill has both ore and coal it’s not really practical for a base because your pals will die all the time if they get stuck in trees or fall off the cliff and can’t get back up so you constantly have to go check on the base every few minutes or they’ll just die. They can also fall threw the map and die too because sometimes the pals load in faster than the landscape if you fast travel there
Get a Coal/Ore base, a Quartz base and a breeding base. You can find a fast travel spot near the tower of eternal fyre, west volcano hot area, where you can build a small outpost without a palbox. You'll have to farm sulfur by hand but it's like a couple minutes work.
digtoise is only good when as a pal in your team his one damage in base makes him take extremely long to break the ore you can compare him to a tomcat or any of the t3 miners. as a partner he's literally doing 10-20x the damage
Thanks for this. I just dropped my first one randomly when going through the tutorial and struggling to get resources efficiently because location. Is there any easy way to move items in chest? Or do you kind of just chalk that up as lost cause. Was thinking of putting second box down at new location and then just empty chest and teleport.
What do I do if the resources stop respawning? I don’t have anything built up blocking them at all so I’m confused. I’ve had it happen at two bases now. Not sure if it’s a glitch or not bc I’m on Xbox
Huh I have never seen that happen before. Is there anything close to them that could maybe be blocking the spawns?
5:47 "There's a little bit of iron/metal, whatever you want to call it" Throw a pal at it: "Pal assigned to copper ore".
When it comes to building a base on the volcano is that where the cooling station would be used to keep pals cool?
Did the first base loose one ore? Mine has only 7 instead of 8, created a new character to check it out and was also 7.
Any spots with sulfer and coal both in the same spot?
what are you doing about getting attacked at the sulfar base? the sulfar base gets attacked by wilds and kills my pals
ill have to check out the Sulfer one you showed. but are you sure its legit. problem i had with finding a sulfur area 90 percent of sulfur nodes are fake. the only legit area i found was at the boss battle area at top of volcano so many nodes there but you gotta build at an angle.
is there a place where you have sulfur, iron, coal together?
which one do you most reccomend for later part of the game?
I would have to say the #1 base location. It has both metal and coal which you are going to need a lot of both in the later game crafting.
There is also 6 nodes of coal at 157,-65
Are there any bases that have ore, sulfer, coal close together?
Digtoise is bad, use tombat, and then breed Anubis he is the best of you get him with artison passive.
I wanna build on spot two but idk how difficult it will be to build on that uneven sloped terrain, also how wide the base covers to have room to build.
Yeah I could see that. You could always go and put down the pal box and just test to see how big the area covers.
@@SiahZ Yeah that's what I figured I'd have to do, nice spot though, also I just saw that last spot on your list with both node types. What level is that area do you know?
@@Sevatar_VIIIth if your talking about the #1 base spot then I would say whenever you get a flying mount which I think is like level 16.
i set up a base on the second area a few days ago and it sucked, every time i fast traveled to it 3-4 of my pals spawned up in the air and out to the side off the mountain, plummeting to their death. they would also spawn on the lower ledges with no way to get up, it was very annoying
Cool is there any way to move you're base ? Can't build another pal Station it say only one is there a way to move everything over to nee new base so don't have to build again and lose my pal
You’ll have to restart or just wait until you can get another base:/ I’d do it sooner rather than later but if you’re solely deciding your base on resources I’d just keep it as is until you can get another base. You’ll have more than enough of everything but iron until the mid 20s. The desolate church spawn will get you plenty of mineable iron, which is somewhat annoying, but you’ll be spending more time moving your base than grinding iron
So, if you have a base near resources, your pals will go outside the base limits to go mine or fetch the materials?
whats more important sulfur or quartz?
5:31, 6:36
Base #4 makes me wish we had cliff platforms like ark 😂
If you build a mining base are resources shared to main?
No
no but its easy to transfer by put the drop off chest next to the pal box and the main base then grab everything even when your over weight and use the grapple move to or fix the UI to the pal box
No but you can transfer items pretty easy. All you have to do is get the items you want and fast travel back to your main base. What I do is just drop all the items I want to transfer near the pal box and then just pick them up and fast travel back to my main base.
How does "Dig" concatenated with "Toise" end up being pronounced "Dignitoise"?
With a smile in your hand and your book in your pocket
You didn't even talk about the best parts of the first one. You're right above two caves, and right below a skill fruit tree. Rather defensible too, since all the raids come through the same area.
Isn’t 6:30 coal?
Hey guys, just a heads up for new players. There really is no good reason to set up a dedicated quartz farm at this time. The amount you need for making some of the advanced manufacturing machinery is a one time thing and pales in comparison to how much coal, ore, and sulfur you need. I set up a quartz base thinking it would be necessary based on this video.. now having to dismantle and move it because its now useless. Save yourselves some grief and dont build a base for mining quartz.
those are not the best, get a anubis. super speed and also good for transport and helping hand
for some reason i cant place my palbox in the first place
Op how with 3 bases you can afk every major resource you need so you can spend your time playing instead of grinding unlike most survival games
first location is where i put my base shame theres no stone so i just fast travel from my base to the first location and farm stone there
build a quarry at your base for stone brother
Yeah I had the same problem but I just built a stone pit and all was good after that.
@@krimboslice I have n lumber I thought goes automatically in there lol
Digtoise is the worst for mining vs food. Anubis is infinitely better. No digtoise. Just breed anubis using a bushi
3.42 , 5.28,6.38
TY😊
firist base is insane my pals jump to death every load
Yeah sadly that's a bug. Some people in my discord said at their bases their pals do that.
So the first base is not worth if all the pals are bugging no?
@@edge6528If you're not retarded you can build a wall around the base so the pals can't walk off.
make the wall. it seems to help. the big wooden ones are pretty cheap at 10 a pop
@@bettmo7494 on solo they teleport, so dont work. On server seems to work. Only way on solo is to remove them as ure away, the base is worthless on solo, moving to -68/-320, only metal but have a passive income.
You dont fly a Nitewing and call it a "flying mount" -_-
everyone has been showing these locations over and over, shame there are so few options
Ggz
hey i made a base on your number one spot and really think i maximized the space for that base if you're interested in checking it out
9 -525 codes pe ek bar dek le bro
infinite is a lot
Infinite is at least bigger than a million.
Digtoise sucks at mining. Been proven by another YTber.
It's copper not iron
pretty sure its neither... its ore and ingots...
@@r2Kd0ugernautWhen you assign a Pal to working an ore node, it’ll be explicitly described as “Copper Ore”.
digtoust sucks in less in your team
this needs time stamps for the resources, i am not gonna listen to the whole video. just to find quartz
Then you should probably look for a video on quartz, not a video about all the resources.
My dog thank u so much 💯💯💯
