I just finished breeding up Xenovader, got really lucky with a serenity egg mutation and had to breed up a yakumo to get ferocious and musclehead from the wild. More info on Yakumo, you cannot get Legend off of using Yakumo, that's exclusive to the dedicated legends in the wild, same with Lucky, Also Selyne's ability is like Frostalian's, it increases Selyne's attack, not the player's attack when mounted.

He’s talking about Yakumo’s partner skill, which makes wild pals more likely to have the same passives as the Yakumo while you’re fighting with him. If the Yakumo has either legend or lucky, those traits will not appear on wild pals, even with Yakumo’s partner skill, unless the pal is suppose to have it.

Hi! For you all I've done some calcul on the DPS difference between atk bonus vs cooldown reduction. (Calcul done on the power level of the 4 active skill : Dark cannon, Spirit flame, holy burst and pal blast) From my result, and with the assumption that every active skill can be cast in one second (I know it's quite erroneous but it's to give an idea), it seems that the combination musclehead+impatient+serenity (MIS) is better than legend+ferocious+musclehead (LFM) (92,69 DPS vs 60,08 DPS for LFM) The combo Musclehead+ ferocious + serenity does 83,23 DPS. I've done the calcul on only 3 passive skill to give some modularity to build but yeah, in my opinion legend isn't good now
Selyne's partner skill is actually a typo, and it boosts her Dark/Neutral skills instead of Dark/Fire. So potentially, Selyne can be a really strong Pal that can do a bonus of 100% Element dmg to both Neutral and Dark. The enhancement is for herself when mounted, not the player.
everyone is talking about new pals with this update. Meanwhile me, I'm just happy that they improve the soul thing in statue of power because the grind you will need to max 40+ pals for boss raid is already much but having to click multiple times just to upgrade those hp, atk, def is a pain
Atm legend can only be caught on legendary (stationary) pals but it can be bred out of it. Unfortunately if a pal can only produce another with itself and it's not a (stationary) legendary it can't get legendary :c

Adding Serenity has just made the trait choices for combat pals super hard now. If top two are Legend/Muscle I really don't know the best combo of Serenity/Ferocious/Lucky/Lord or Emperor for trait 3 and 4: EDIT: Lets just have 6 traits ffs lol

Depends of the skills you put on yours pals. Serenity for strong skills with longest cooldown, lord of/emperor for monotype skill pals, lucky for versatile pals ( I mean a pal where you put every skill regardless the type, using to run around the map and speedruns like dungeons)
They have confirmed there future updates/dlc should enlarge the original map by 4x a whole knew world just isn't on the cards unfortunately. I just hope they do what ark did and add procedurally generated maps! Unfortunately ark just dropped those like a bad smell despite it giving you that replayability and early game nostalgia that after one play through is gone forever without procedural maps!

It took me about 15 hours to breed a Suzuke casually over the last weekend. I ended up with MuscleHead, Legend, Fercious and Serenity. I'm in the process of trying to get serenity to replace hooligan and then fuse 2 identical pals to create an alpha . . . it is probably going to take the rest of the week. Any pal that is in my active party and not sitting in base or being made for the raid bosses will get some sort of SPEED increasing perk because dodging attacks is infinitely better defensively speaking than tanking it and the speed allows their mobility to be more useful.

Finished breeding it yesterday, it’s pretty good. Not as op as libero but a decent imitation for the level of accessibility to capture it. If you don’t have bellanoir libero get this instead.
I bred a copule Selynes with Musclehead, Serenity and Ferociuos but Impatient instead of Hooligan. Selyne does have a very slow casting speed, so that -10% casting speed is more useful in my eyes. Right now I'm doing the final stretch on a couple Shadowbeak with Siren of the Void, Legend, Serenity and Musclehead.

Yakumo can't pass special passives like lucky or legend with its partner skill. How it works is, there is a 15-30% chance to give one of yakumo's passives to the captured pal(percentage is dependent on condense lvl) it can give 1 or more but it may do multiple rolls of the percentage of the partner skill to determine if it does. Its unknown if it replaces passives if that pal would have 4 passives that weren't the ones yakumo has.
You only get Legendary from Legendary Pals. You only get Lucky from naturally spawning Pals. I don't know if Selyne can spawn as a shiny but since she's linked with the meteor drops, probably not.
I just bred mine also mine has the same as yours except i swapped hooligan for impatient the extra cdr is very nice to have on Selyne because all of her moves have a very long cooldown
Yakumo partner skill can't make pals come with legend or any other type of skill such as Lord of the Underworld, Earth Emp etc. They can't make them come with any skills that buff flat elemental damage. Same thing with lucky unfortunately. The way I've been going about getting damage stuff on these new pals like Blazamut and Xenovader is just by breeding them and getting random passives
You can't as the skill can only be acquired by paladius or by breeding the trait down, However you can’t do this as Selyne can only breed with itself making it impossible to get this trait (unless you use a mod to change pal traits)
i tried out breeding with a daedream and dazzi i liked how they follow you even when you have other pals out i gave them mercy hit though they have been amazing for catching things they are still weak compared to other pals fully bred but they still rip through anything in the game
i’m confused, how do you expect to get legend on selyne by just carrying a pal with legend on it? does the pal you have by your side affect the traits you get on a pal you catch? and what’s the return to title thing you do? if you could help with this it would be great :)
Yakumo increases the chances to the same traits as him so i thought i could cheese legend on any pal (this does not work). Return to title is to reset the world drop so i can farm selyne
So if i catch any pal with yakumo in my deck (or is it with him actually by my side?) i can get any trait apart from legend and lucky? is there any other pal that does this?
@@samhousler8781 only yakumo, and its not enough to be in your deck, it has to be out (even in non fighting mode is ok and not necessary to ride it) and you need to have to saddle for it since its his passive skill doing this. chance is 15% for 1 passive at level 1 of partner skill, 30% at partner skill 5
30 hours that's chump change. I grinded for 2 weeks to make the "perfect" team to solo bellanoir libero ultra.... just to find out the damage was bugged and I was able to solo the raid all along.
When you mount selyne, it doesn't enhance your attack. What it does is enhance her fire or dark attack (if there is any of them). But her attacks are normal type so it actually doesn't do anything.
Good traits have a wildly low rate of appearance. So far I've only fully maxed out my Wixen and I had over 300 of them (caught and breed) before I was able to get the traits i wanted, and I also settled for hollagin.
I honestly wish they added more normal skill fruit. There are so many new non-signatue normal moves but they only added 1 normal fruit. Kinda wanted try out some of these with the older pals.
7:00 "I could have possibly put Celestial Emperor on her as well..." How? That's not a part of the random trait pool so I doubt Yakumo could put it on her. Other than that it only comes from Paladius, and as you said, she doesn't have any crossbreeds.
Selyne DOES have a crossbreed path: Paladius + Lunaris. I just bred a bunch of Selynes using Paladius and Lunaris, giving Selyne the Celestial Emperor trait. However, with the Feybreak update, I'm considering Demon God and/or Vampiric, but that will require me to breed those traits onto a Lunaris to pair with Paladius. (Paladius has no crossbreed paths, so it would have to happen via Lunaris.)
@@Lumiya I posted that two months ago, so about 7 weeks _before_ Selyne had a crossbreed. It was added in Feybreak. Also, Demon God and Vampiric are both "generic" traits. They can be randomly rolled on anything, so Paladius wouldn't need a crossbreed to have them. Case in point, I've got a Jetragon and a Necromus with Demon God on them, neither of which has a crossbreed. If you wanted to bring Siren of the Void/Invader in you'd have to do _that_ through Lunaris, they aren't a part of the generic pool.

Also sure, if I didn't have a good passive Paladius already I could keep catching Paladius HOPING that MAYBE I'd get a rare chance at Demon God or Vampiric on it. But it's a whole heck of a lot easier and quicker to just breed Demon God or Vampiric onto Lunaris instead.
I thought those fruits increased their base attack not their IV stats... man i already have an alpha 100/100/100 legend ferocious musclehead serenity Jetragon then. Reading is hard.
I did this with Feleris and Kelpsea, but i chose swift over another attack boost, without the fruits it has over 2000 attack too, and I've maxed out 3 of the 4 Kelsea ignis
I bred jormuntide and chikipi to get mozarina, and mozarina then to fanglope to get yakumo with legend. Simply because I already have legend on my ignis. And that before I knew Yakumo wont transfer legend, lucky, and special elemental passive. But at least he can fight a bit. Try chain breeding calculator. From you captured legend to your target pal to have it.
Now if I could just get a meteorite to ever spawn.... Hope they make a mod or cheat to change the spawn rate. Can't even catch the new stuff if they never randomly spawn. :(
All eggs have a chance to be an alpha egg. This happens when the egg is made/spawned not when it hatches. an alpha egg is always the huge variant. If you get a male and female bellanoir you can breed them for an alpha

do you think 15 selynes would destroy all raid bosses with holy burst abuse? my thought is instead of breeding 4 different pals for belanoir and blazamut i could just breed and squish 15 selynes
The stat glasses in the ancient tech tree to see the IVs and the items to boost them is from ether the dog coin merchant(gold marketeers found in church ruins) and/or raid bosses (the lvl50+ versions)
Meteors spawn every 3 real-time-hours of character play time. You can save right before it and make backup. Then everytime a meteor lands, see if you get what you want. If not, you overwrite your save with the backup and wait for the meteor again. That's what he was doing here, not actually speeding the meteor spawn time.
I got 2 batches of them interestingly they both spawned with all one gender except one IE: 3 female 1 male and 3 males 1 female(harem aliens confirmed?!)
I kept crashing anytime I joined my world after getting to the new island and after like 10 tries in the end I crashed and when I went back in my whole save was gone which I was lvl 50 on along with all my pals
Because 48 hours for one egg is ridiculous. I want to breed pals over the course of days, not months. Also, flying pals lose stam so fast, F that. I cut that by half on my server.

How do you know it's a typo? I saw another pal with a similar passive but found it weird it didn't match their type?

Serenity only effects active skills like Bellanoir's laser not regular attack skills

Legend, along with all other unique boss passives, can not be passed from Yakumo. I'm not sure if lucky can be passed or not.

For something like cremis that boosts normal atk. Would that apply to Mossanda Grenade Launcher or do I need grass?

There is a low chance that any pal you breed has the chance to become an alpha
I did this with Feleris and Kelpsea, but i chose swift over another attack boost, without the fruits it has over 2000 attack too, and I've maxed out 3 of the 4 Kelsea ignis
speaking of bellanoir, you probably should've tried or used in breeding bellanoir libero instead of normal one
What did you breed to get legend on yakuma?
I bred jormuntide and chikipi to get mozarina, and mozarina then to fanglope to get yakumo with legend.
Simply because I already have legend on my ignis. And that before I knew Yakumo wont transfer legend, lucky, and special elemental passive. But at least he can fight a bit.

The meteor only spawns in higher areas and it won't spawn until you mine the last one check your map it gets marked and mine the big rock
Yea meteors are buggy , if u missed a meteor and never mined it it will no longer respawn at that location

How did you get an alpha variant of Bellanoir? I’ve killed both bosses and the ultra yet i only have regular variants
If you breed any pal for an ex bellanoir there is a chance to get alpha pal

All eggs have a chance to be an alpha egg. This happens when the egg is made/spawned not when it hatches. an alpha egg is always the huge variant. If you get a male and female bellanoir you can breed them for an alpha

I was trying to figure out this yakumo passive I have 3 traits legend, ferocious, muscle head but game won’t transfer the lucky trait from my other yakumo
It can't give legend lucky or emperor/lord passives only the common ones. Its also a 15-30% chance to do work(percentage based on condense lvl)

Hard to say but it might have a low weighting but there is a lot of passives its not really unreasonable to assume its just luck and rng hating on you

You have to be in a high level area 30+ and it might be linked to having raids enabled not sure on that though

The stat glasses in the ancient tech tree to see the IVs and the items to boost them is from ether the dog coin merchant(gold marketeers found in church ruins) and/or raid bosses (the lvl50+ versions)

Hey CDiinky, how do you speed up the process of farming meteors?? I notice you keep exiting the game, does that help?
Meteors spawn every 3 real-time-hours of character play time. You can save right before it and make backup. Then everytime a meteor lands, see if you get what you want. If not, you overwrite your save with the backup and wait for the meteor again. That's what he was doing here, not actually speeding the meteor spawn time.
