Lots of people asking about Palpedia so here it is: Palpedia dot net - awesome fan made site that is great for filtering for specific pal capabilities!
Clarifications: Seen a few comments regarding base deterioration for placing things outside the circle. As long as your pals actively run towards a structure you place down to help build it it means it's technically inside the circle even if part of it is not. You can go one step further and actually just disable structure deterioration altogether in settings so that you can build any structural components outside of the circle and only keep objects your pals will use inside the circle. This give you more room to work with.
Some people have mentioned using the crusher for paldium which is a great suggestion once you have enough free pals to spare to generate enough stone to make this viable. Earlier on i'd say it's probably not as viable as you'll want that stone for cement and other building purposes but if you breed a few extra anubises you can definitely throw them onto a stone mining pit in a separate base for hefty stone production
    ---
Chapters are now up! Let me know if you have any thoughts on further improvements to this base or if you have any other base/farming locations you think people should know about. I'm always interested in learning more efficient ways to play!

Like how mentioned this coal/ore base never gets targeted for raids, likewise i discovered that the beach close to the Penking boss fight also never gets raided as I have had one there since the beginning of the game and it has never once been attacked. The terrain is also pretty flat so I it makes a prime location for a base you want some afk output without having to babysit

I'd love to hear your opinions on how viable woolipop farming is as a food source. They produce food that never expires and gives sanity so I've been toying with the idea of farming them for food supply but I don't know if that's actually worth it compared to just berry farming

Little tip: Always farm rock and wood using Logging/Quarry site. There's a limit to how many dropped resources can exist on the ground, and you'll will want those to be ores/coal/sulphurs ONLY. Because with an efficient mining base like in the video above, there're TONS of Coals + ores on the ground.
If the limit of dropped resourced reach the maximum, the newer drops will replace the older one. More stone/wood on the ground means less ores/coals/sulphurs So all it took is just an accidental AoE in a forest to wipe out all your base drops (if you're base are loaded like in the video).
Mine stone and chop wood using sites to keep the game from reaching max limit of dropped resources. Or if your pc is stronk enough, raise the limit.
I accidentally let my Jetragon rain mislles down a Syndicate team in the middle of the forest and almost crashed my game with how much woods were dropped. After that, I return home to find my mining base empty of drops.

in singleplayer with max amount of dropped resources, its super high, never an issue. You can also add another lv3/4 or 2 lvl 2 transporter pals to have less on the ground.
Logging trees gives fibres too, stone some paldium, and problem with logging and quarry site if that pals will overwork (plus its slower).

Tip 2: For sulfur nodes the best location I found is near the Volcano Syndicate Tower. You can fast travel with some pals to increase weight and mining power. You can farm a total of 7 to 8 sulfur nodes using a pickaxe in a trip that takes less that 3 minutes.

I agree, putting your 3 bases into different jobs is the best way of managing your resources. 1 base for mining and farming, 1 base for breeding, ranching, and farming(need lots of cake after all), 1 base for whatever you need. When you brought up dungeons, I realized that some good mining spots actually have a dungeon very close to them for mining extra resources.

This guide was incredibly well done. You earned this sub.
Something to note. I decided to run my own experiments to get some real evidence after my Ore bottleneck wasnt improving.
The bottleneck turned out to be Digtoise!!
Experiment: compare my best Digtoise and my best Dumud.
Method: At night, remove all Pals except Transporters and 1 mining Pal. Then let them mine all day, normal difficulty without ANY settings modifiers. Then at night write down the new number to see how much got mined.
I wrote down the starting number while the miner was asleep. Then let him mine, THEN record the updated number once he was back asleep.
Note: I also grabbed any leftovers at night to make sure all ore was accounted for.
Results. My Artisan Digtoise with 106 work effort mined 33 ore for the whole day.
My standard Digmud with 70 work effort mined 94!! Ninety friggin' four!
I suspect the problem is damage output. Digtoise does a ton of 1 damage hits, while dumud does 28-32 damage per hit. Dumud regularly mined 1 ore every four hits. Dugtoise... I couldnt even tell because the output was so inconsistent.
But dont take my word for it, verify for yourselves. I think we're sleeping on some of the best workhorse Pals.

Second, the information spread is very concise and detailed and shows people step by step on what to do which a lot of these new Palworld UA-camrs DO NOT do at all. He even showed the map location with aerial shots of building placements and whatnot. And final touch is adding the chapter sections on the viewing bar to the video, Ik it’s not much but I hate it when UA-cam “guide” videos don’t add it because it makes it a pain when you want to look for specific parts that you need help on.

Something you kind of overlooked and might want to consider.
Paldium can be made from stone using the Grinder. So if you're placing down a stone site, you can also place a grinder and one water type to run it, giving you an unlimited supply of paldium as well. With that many miners working, I can't imagine the amount of stone being produced would be small.

It’ll drop the resources and material used to build it and you can just pick those up and BAM, you got exactly what you need to build whatever it is you need to build at your other bases.I didn’t know if this was common knowledge so I thought I’d share.

    Extra little tip:
Besides the work speed passive skills(I usually use Work Slave, Serious and Artisan, giving you a 100% Work Speed), Diet Lover is a great addition for mining pals. They will spend less time eating or moving to the feedbox and more time working.
Also feeding your pals salad will increase their workspeed for a bit.

I really enjoyed your video. I actually leveled up to 20 without having to make a base because I wanted to find a decent spot for ore. I made my 1st base just behind that church & am gradually building it up. Thank you for the locations the food box, chests & beds it was rather funny to see the mammoth trying to sleep 🤣 I will be looking forward to what you'll be doing next, thank you.

I built this base today, and it is hands down the absolute best base ever by a long shot. I afk'd while I went to work, and when I came back, none of my pals were sick or depressed or whatever, except for Vanwyrm Cryst. He gets himself stuck everywhere. But I just stopped using him because of this. It might be because my walls are only 2 walls high. He gets stuck on pal beds... So maybe if I had actually made it like the one in the video (3 walls high), this might not happen. Either way, I'm just using Foxcicle for cooling instead.
Anyway, thanks for such an amazing guide video. This kind of quality is mostly unheard of these days. 99% of creators are just churning out videos as fast as possible.

My strategy for this location is 5 Anubis, 5 Wixen, 2 Verdash, 2 Surfent and a Dinossom Lux.
Wixen will clean up while the Anubis mine, repeatedly triggering the "small task complete" sanity boost (Wixens with a reduced sanity drop rate will actually gain sanity while transporting, hue), and they'll fairly steadily cycle themselves out over the course of the day running 2 furnaces and a kitchen if need be. A full compliment of Anubis will steadily cycle themselves through handiwork tasks even if the Wixen are all busy, meaning you'll rarely see their stations unoccupied when not mining. Verdash will help with pick-up when they're not seeding, logging, or harvesting food, and Surfent are there to efficiently grind wheat and water beds fast enough the food supply remains permanently positive even with 1 bed each. Dinossom Lux is just because it's pretty heavily bugged, it can generate electricity from anywhere on the base and doesn't seem to drain sanity in the process, I usually find it standing still atop a random food bowl on the base while working.
I'll experiment with Asties later, though I've never had much luck with those...

I also started planting lettuce and tomatoes , the extra work in making salad is well worth it, the pals spend a lot less downtime due to losing sanity when eating salad you gain way more workload than you lose by having to grow and cook salad.

I have my main base here.
    Farming - 2 tomato, 2 lettuce, 2 wheat and 1 berry.
Maintained by 2 Lyleen(artisans, serious and workslave passive) and 2 Azurobe and a Penking.
Kindling - Jormuntide Ignis and Blazehowl(will work on logging station during down time)
Mining - 6 Anubis (all with artisans and serious so crafting is almost instant)
    Cooling - Foxicle.
    Electric - Sparkit.
Base have all crafting station, 1 ranch and 2 breeding station.
Putting it here in case someone wants to copy the setup. Its extremely efficient and you can use your 2nd and 3rd base as a roaming base.

Great informational video! I’ve always been into making UA-cam vids but haven’t gotten myself to doing it and palworld is one of the games to really want me to get into it to make videos like you do. They’re great! One thing I’d like to share for others is that if you struggle to find sulfur. There are two large sulfur deposits near jetragons spawn location. One slightly north-east and the other slightly south-east. There is a tremendous amount of sulfur there. I keep my third base as a teleportation device and often keep it near those nodes. With a full team of broncherries and a reptyro with a Mount. You can go there and bring back sulfur by the hundreds in a couple trips. They don’t take too long to respawn either so while yo I get other things done you can switch out your team again and make another trip. This coal/ iron spot is amazing though I have to make it my second base!

so at the very start of the game if you turn around and go backwards you will find a beach at the very botton of the castle with a dungeon , the cool part is if you build a base , it also never gets raided , when it does all the npcs spawn at the top of the castle. side note you get full control over the dungeon too

  • @LadyRaccoonz
    @LadyRaccoonz 7 місяців тому

Just as a tip - If you go to the Volcano area, the south side is a desert, closer to the east side of it is a fishing village with a merchant who sells ammo, so if you have a surplus of gold, you don't need Sulphur or Charcoal

One good way to get a level 4 refining that's not mentioned in this video is to go to the western part of the volcanic area in the far southwest corner of the map. There you will find huge dragon eggs if you look around. They have a distinct black/purple pattern. These eggs will hatch into Jormuntide Ignis. They are fairly easy to get early. Bring heat resistant armor and your best flying mount, and stay clear of the pals that spawn in the area.

It's more effective to have workers that ONLY transport in this base, like Helzephyr. That's because Anubi only start transporting the ore once all ore sources in the base are completely farmed. Also, it's even more effective to place multiple chests to minimize the walking ways for the Pals, just like you did with food boxes.

Extremely important info that most people arent or werent aware of ( like me )
Digtoise is currently bugged. When hes assigned to a base he deals only 1 damage per tick on the ores, and when you're away from that base and not watching him he does almost nothing. I tried leaving 3 digtoise at a base to see the ore they would get over a 10 in game day time period and i got 13 ore total

I found and set this base up the MOMENT it was available to me, and even if you do the bare minimum, at least with a server that works overnight, it's completely viable. You'll get more than enough for mid and into late game with Tombats, Penking, and Mossandas. I was mining the coal well before I even knew what it was for, just to stockpile it.
Once I unlocked Anubis, I tossed a few in there, and the base just functions. It's ugly, I have everything on the ground, but it functions. One berry patch produces 1000s more berries than I need, and because the base is always going, SAN and such don't really matter all that much right now.
Now that I'm trying to push more into the end game, I have half a mind to tear it all down and do a proper base like you've got here, but knowing you can just toss up a palbox, some mining, planting, and have automated ore should be the start of every one of these videos. You do not need to build up a whole base here what so ever.
