The stark contrast between the messaging in this video, discussing the logical acceptance of 'protected' (whether natural or via vaccination), as opposed to the messaging coming out of the CDC and political figures, is remarkable. The institution tasked with providing policy guidance based on the most complete understanding possible seems to be experiencing a different pandemic from the 'real world' experience captured by basically every legitimate study. To recap, the CDC claims cloth masks are 56% effective, natural immunity doesn't count, and boosting is good for everyone ages 5 and up. The CDC needs to be held accountable for this level of incompetence.

Agreed. Real world studies based on micro aerosol infectious spreads, which is exactly what Covid is, show that cloth and surgical masks are only 13% effective, and N95 23% effective. The micro aerosols that spread Covid travel far and wide and live a long time, and are too small for even a properly fitted N95 to stop. An N100 respirator, the kind with a rubber face mask and inch thick canisters are better suited to stopping the inhalation of the micro aerosols, but some can still get through. This is from peer reviewed studies, not cherry picked reviews to fit the narrative.

    • @acdii
      @acdii 2 роки тому +9

@@gavinmcewen5896 But the data also clearly shows that if you were previously infected, and not vaccinated, your risks are lower than those who just had the vaccine and were never sick. The vaccines prevent hospitalizations far more than not getting one, but your risks are still greater of hospitalization than unvaccinated previously infected. IOW if you got it, you don't need a booster nor do you NEED to be vaccinated. If you never had it, then you should get the vaccination.

@@acdii Can you please post your references that show N95 masks are only 23% effective against covid? I would be very interested to see and verify this thanks. Because on the surface of it this claim of N95s being only 10% better than cloth masks, and covid "micro aerosols" being too small to be caught in N95s sounds like uneducated BS. Especially seeing as N95s are electrostatically charged so that they actually attract aerosol droplets and particles to be caught and stuck in their material (a bit like how a magnet attracts iron filings). So I'm really keen to see your info thanks!

I had 3 co-workers who all got covid in the past couple of months, and when they came back from work, they all felt like they had their teeth kicked in. All 3 were vaccinated. When my supervisor came back, he worked on 2 cars in the shop and went home for 2 more days before he could come back. One of my other co-workers took a couple hours to slowly work his way into even attempting to do anything, and my shop manager stayed out of the shop the whole first day, except to have a team meeting for 5 minutes.
I got covid in October 2020, and a week ago today, I tested positive. A day later my wife tested positive and a couple days after that my daughter was positive. None of us had been vaccinated, but both my wife and daughter were exposed to me in 2020 when I had it, and both were asymptomatic. My wife was tested several months afterwards and was positive for the covid antibodies, and I suspect my daughter would have tested positive for the antibodies as well, though we never had her checked.
All 3 of us basically had a head cold. Sinus issues, cough, runny nose, sore throat. My daughter and I had a low-grade fever for a day or so, my wife never had a fever. Inside of a week, we're doing fine, and I went back to work Monday and worked a full day in the auto care shop where I work and felt fine the whole day.
My wife is a type 2 diabetic and had 2 stints put in her heart in January 2020, just before covid hit.
Covid is beaten, and in a couple of years, I suspect it will be listed as one of the "common cold" viruses.
My wife and I are both 55 years old, and at this point, we have no intention of getting the vaccine, ever.

It's amazing that not long ago, to argue for natural immunity was to be written off as a stooge or a 'denier' or another such derogatory terms. Glad the studies are finally catching up with medical/ evolutionary common sense. Curious about your thoughts on something, please. Now that we're in the age of Omicron. If someone has been infected with Omicron is there a benefit to being vaccinated? Thanks for commenting Cayenne. I have been talking about natural immunity for a long time on my channel and probably have the most extensive Playlist of videos reviewing it on UA-cam. It's still early to know if What sort of protection someone would have who has been infected by omicron. I would think that the protection against symptomatic reinfection for a time would be good against very similar variants and extremely high against severe disease but this remains to be seen. If the next transmissible variant is very different from omicron such as one that has similarity to delta then you're going to see a degree of immune evasion from their "omicron natural immunity" leading to symptomatic reinfection. The hope would be that severe disease would still be preserved. The most important thing, and always has been, is preventing severe disease and the best way of accomplishing this given a virus that is going to continue to mutate probably for years to come and hopefully less virulent. Best regards to you and thank you for all the work you do.

Ask what they base super immunity off of. Is it some total number of antibodies, or are they just expecting people live with maxed out antibodies at all times? We don't do that for any other pathogens that we use vaccines for. What if you only need 5 times the amount the tests show as a positive antibody count? Why would we need so much overkill? Our immune system aren't designed to maintain max counts all the time.

@@jennychavez2436 it's unfortunate they are prescribing yet not basing anything of scientific studies. Ask what the titer count needs to be for protection. Bet the dr won't know, because there isn't any data studying it yet. You may have plenty of antibodies, so if you ram up more, for no reason, it may trick your immunsystem, or confuse it, so it actually won't perform correctly when. You really need it to. They are beginning to study what happens when people take x amount of boosters, because of this. We normally take a booster because the antibodies drop so low, and memory cells almost completely go away, thus we need a booster, since the body wouldn't know how to respond to an infection. Remember, these boosters are not adjusted for new variants the same way the flu shot is. They know ramp you up for a variants tha no longer is current, and hoping it's good enough to help your body. Plus it's only for the spike protein protection, which is very limited compared to how the recovered immunity protects.

I had Covid in August 2020. So did most of my family. We all live in the same house. None of us got Delta. My wife and daughter got Omicron in January. Both recovered. I did not get Omicron even though we were in close quarters. I still had high antibody levels in Sept. 2021. I don’t know if this was a factor. I can say that my wife took Therapeutics when she first got Omicron. She fully recovered in about three days without any lingering fatigue. She went from lying in bed with a fever to shoveling snow for hours without fatigue. I know this is anecdotal but we believe it helped her. My daughter recovered without therapeutics as well but not as dramatically.

It's self-evident from this and other data that the vaccines are not prophylactic, providing only temporary therapeutic value. Which declines because the virus evolves. Why is the focus on developing the next mRNA vaccines without fully knowing, as with past vaccines, the risks from these vaccines? Given this data, should there not also be an effort to develop and use monoclonal antibody therapies for viral mutations having significant health risks for individuals? What's the downside to monoclonal antibody therapies?

Two days ago I caught Omicron (from my triple vaxxed brother) and had two HOURS of achy, and nine HOURS of lost taste/smell. Meanwhile, my triple vaxxed brother was still sick (and spreading) eleven days after he tested positive. Neither of us were hospitalized but His case was far far worse than both of mine combined.

The fact that health units, governments, study authors, and doctors have to mention not getting infected to get immunity just shows how misunderstood and politicized this is.
All those of us that have been infected want is recognition that our bodies have made anti-bodies to the virus (exactly what the vaccine does) and that we should be “allowed” to participate in society and god forbid-be able to provide for our families.
For a doctor (mine specifically) to flat out say I “am not protected” because I’ve had c-19 is to deny biology. If I “wasn’t protected” then how did I recover? I would either be perpetually sick with covid, or dead.
This is why people are losing trust in government/pharma/medicine.
All we ask is that doctors do what you do, actually look at new information and discuss it. Not try to gaslight and railroad us like most others.

Thanks for commenting. The argument that some have had against natural immunity is that it can be variable with respect to antibody response but it's no different with vaccination as you point out. We don't understand everything about how our immune system response to antigens. Antibody levels which are neutralizing are helpful to providing reassurance but you can in fact have undetectable antibody levels after natural immunity and still be protected. I made one video on that previously. The cellular arm of the immune system (T cells) are what protects against severe disease and that is much more difficult to measure.

Be nice if there was a study showing the semi Quant AB counts at various time frames, after recovery. Show 2 weeks, so likely maxed on their scale, then every 3 months after. Break it down by the same, just vaccinated, recovered immunity only, and with both vaccination and recovery.
Would like to see the drop off rates, then if someone tests positive, they should have a record of their count within a 3 month time frame. Collect data about whether or not they show symptoms. If they are exposed, with no symptoms, they should show a major increase in their counts. Maybe we can learn how the counts can protect people, on average. Currently, they tell photo take a booster, but what is the scientific basis for that? Seems to me it's a guess, but we could be scientifically studying the process.

Their source of information is independent sage. Personally this has tore our previously strong family apart. My parents seem to think that the unvaxed are not thinking about public health.....I can't see when I'll be able to hug them again. I'm also not vaccinating my kids! They've had two direct exposures to Covid now and haven't gotten sick or tested positive! Hopefully when all this is over (I have hope!) our families will see reason. Hugs! Your not alone!

"God heals doctor takes the fee" when my younger sister graduated from her study to be a doctor I gave her that advice to remind her of the essence of being a doctor. A doctor is someone who provides services and information to a patient for the patient to make an informed decision regarding their health/medical issues.
Doctors should never take away their patient's rights and freedom to make their own medical decision.
Doctors help their patients to make decisions and actions based on the truth, by giving the patients information based on the doctor's experiences and expertise.
When decisions and actions are made based on the truth it will lead to peace, prosperity, and life in medical terms will lead to cure and health.
When decisions and actions made are not based on truth it will lead to pain, suffering, and death in medical terms will lead to illness.
Decisions and actions made based on truth are what "God heals" means. Doctors got the privilege to become partners of God is what "Doctors takes the fee" means.

And this agrees with the Israel, New York, and California studies. I do have a couple of points though regarding all this data that might be worthy of a discussion:
    1) When they say they measure the incidence of symptomatic cases, it never seems to be stated how bad the symptoms are. Because surely at this stage, having 100 people whose symptoms are just a sore throat and tiredness isn't as bad as say 10 people who are having difficulty breathing and need to be put on oxygen therapy. I think some sort of stratification by symptom severity might make this even more accurate, e.g. mild, moderate, severe.
    2) This brings me to the second point. If the re-infections or breakthrough infections are mild, does this really provide a compelling evidence to go and get vaccinated/boosted? At the end of the day we can never prevent re-infections or breakthrough infections as the virus will keep mutating and surely the realistic end goal always has been to get the disease down to a manageable level where it can be treated at home. So surely after exposure to COVID or getting two jabs of a vaccine is enough to protect a person against severe illness (so long as they're not immunocompromised).

Who as long as you're not I'm Uncompromised the vaccine will protect you, And will lower chance of getting covid and will also lower your chances of getting severely ill as long as you're not I'm I'm the only compromise so you're right about that and viruses mutate the more viruses mutate the harder it is for your immune system natural means system or vaccine immune system to fight off the virus.

@@torryncoufal1847 Yeah. For majority of people, after the first exposure to the virus, they have the right B- and T-cells in the blood, so they have protection against severe disease. Reinfection may happen with a variant such as Omicron that has a lot of mutations in the spike protein, but those reinfections are likely to be mild and short-lived.

I’m still not sure why vaccinations are forced upon people who are not in high risk groups. Your best chances are to get infected while you are young and strong, which can provide long-term immunity. The lower infection in vaccinated people is short-lived, as we have seen. Besides, mass vaccinations give rise to new variants, which has been shown by many studies now, something which has been accepted by the CDC now. The pushers (“doctors”) are still hard at work, extolling the “benefits” of vaccination. It’s like they are afraid to bite the hand (big pharma) that feeds them.

Maybe only one dose should be given to those who've already been infected? That might help reduce the risk of myocarditis, which tends to occur on the second dose. In the UK a lower dose of Moderna is used for the booster and isn't associated with myocarditis, so perhaps that should considered for those with prior infection.

He had it 6 months ago and still isn't well. All sorts of chest pain dizziness and numbness. His doctors keep dismissing it as anxiety. Just another strike against the vaccine. I'll never get it. Harold, people in this situation were counted as unvaccinated for the number of days that they were unvaccinated and then once they became vaccinated (14 days after their 2nd vaccine) they were counted as being vaccinated. Many trials in medicine have people that cross over into other groups and we have to statistically account for that which they did here.

Small objection to your analysis, wasn't the largest group at the start of the study vaccinated but not ill? Wouldn't that mean that as a percentage of the population of the study, they did significantly better than the covid infected but unvaccinated by percentage according to this study? The population infected twice but unvaccinated is a subset of the dark orange group is it not?
