The lead foot is a good training method to get the hips engaged ext . After you truly own the power / technique try it without the twist . This is the way I teach it and most People don’t twist the foot anymore after trying it , The rear hand has a mile To travel compared to the lead hook as well. You have to turn that shot or it would be very short of its full range , great explanations coach . ❤
Sweet. Probably gonna drop the lead hook pivot. Hard to undo habits but my brother in law who's an ex pro advised me against it once. Never gave it much more thought. But watched this, and another similar video from a pure boxing perspective, and both kinda veer towards it being more disadvantageous than beneficial. The main point I took was that its excessive rotation. Also from a kickboxing/MMA perspective it leaves you open to leg kicks (especially calf) and take downs.

Nice! Who’s your brother in law?
Moral of story... Don't look like a wanker 😂
