I love how Satoshi has grown in the videos! I love his food descriptions in English! I love you both, and specially your Japanese food videos! Keep them coming!!! ❤️
Awwwe Colin is such a personal person . So polite and kind. Where did you find him....that’s the kind of tour guide Hawaii people need. English speaking and personal touch of patience. So respectful and sincere...seeing this tour made me feel appreciated. Gotta go to Akita....
As horse lover and person that would give me life for a horse, the thought of eating horse hurts me, BUT in saying that I understand that in other place in the world that what people eat, and I understand that 100% and I will never hate on them for that, =)
What a nice comment, I do fully understand your sight but you don't judge and that's reeeeeally rare these days, when everyone got offended by everything. Here in Switzerland horse meat is normal too, but more expensive because of the high standards of keeping them. But at least they have a happy life, have meadows and that, other than pigs or chicken, sometimes these animal never see the sunlight. Like the KFC factorys are pure cruelty, doesn't matter which culture or country.
Sam Warrior If it makes you feel any better, In Japan they use the whole animal so none of it goes to waste. They are not bred just for the sole purpose of food.
Look very good foods and healthy foods very nice and the dogs look beautiful very friendly as well thank you for sharing your beautiful pets wish you good holiday there thank you for sharing your beautiful hoilday
This video made me so happy :'-) you guys are so cute and I'm so happy that you both are having a lot of fun while you're working and filming these amazing videos!!! Much love for you two and all the work you guys put in!!!
Hey guys, forget the 7/11 onigiri! This is definitely far more interesting and fascinating for someone not from Japan! I'd love more videos like this! It makes my travel bug itch
We eat horse meat in Europe, it's very lean and tasty, no cholesterol. Horses are bred free range, no intensive farming, as we hold them in high regard and respect, so there's no chance of mistreating them. I love those dogs, I know it's a Japanese breed, what are they called? They are lovely. Thank you for this great vid, that Katzu curry ramen looked oishiiiiii
Great scenery, great food, great choice of music in the vid. Especially loved the footage of driving in the snow and Shatoshi’s excitement standing by waterfall. Really enjoyed this. 🤗
I lived in Misawa for six glorious years and miss it so much! My family used to go camping in northern Akita by the sea. The red rocks with the bright blue ocean was one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing.
I have just discovered your videos. Really love the way you show food, culture and things to buy., while having such a fun time.I am learning Japanese and long to visit one day. Keep making your excellent videos. ありがとうございます😊
Those puppies were gorgeous. And that waterfall - it must be a wonderful place to visit when the weather is warmer. Can't wait to see your next video - you look like you had a great time xx
Thank you for an other beautiful and good video. Love to see Satoshi is more relax on the video. When I see the food and nature I want to live in Japan😊.
*sees snow* uuugh snow... wait they get romantic picturesque snow in Japan, not grinding cold winters full of gray skies biting wind chills and icy sidewalks, I guess this is pretty! I'm glad you found a beautiful place to visit.
So love these kind of videos, wonderful food, beautiful scenery, great tour guide. All of this just makes me want to visit Japan soon, and I hope to be able to one day. Thank you Shinichi and Satoshi once again for an amazing journey. Bye for now.
Thank you again, wonderful video! Now we want to go to Akita! Our next trip includes Sendai and Aomori. I will add Akita to our future trip to Japan. So nice!
Hi guys just came across this older video of Akita . Looks like a great place to see when in Japan 🇯🇵. The scenery buildings and food looked awesome . Also being a dog lover I enjoyed seeing the Akita dogs 🐕 . Tonkatsu curry Ramen & Yakitori looked 😋 too. Arigato
I love this! Thank you for sharing this journey. The food, the sights! Japan looks so peaceful. One day I will visit Japan and experience this beautiful place. I look forward to the next video
We will be in Akita in a few weeks, this video was absolutely invaluable, so thank you! As for horse, my roommate in med school in Italy once made horse meat meatloaf for dinner. I don't eat meatloaf to begin with. Made from horse, well, it's now about 43 years later, we are still talking about that dinner. No, we did not eat Fury. Again, thanks for the tips, will have to find the Akita Visitor's Center, we own shiba inus. Cuter than akitas, but not by much.
I used to live in Yamagata Prefecture when I was in High school and this video reminded me of Yamagata although they are still different from each other even with food. Thanks for this video and to be honest, it’s not fair!!! I also want to eat all of those delicious & amazing looking dishes! You guys always do a great job showing mouthwatering Japanese food. I can only imagine and taste those in my head here in Canada. 🇨🇦 🤤🤤💭”yum-yum!” Peace! ✌🏽
Omg when i went to Gomei in Ginza they gave us the Iburigakko and it was sooo good! Really enjoyed this vlog. The tour and area looks really pretty and the wooden tableware and bento boxes looked absolutely beautiful
omg the chocolate cream banana boat looks so good! I want to go experience all the awesome things in Japan. Those Akita doggies are absolutely adorable :)
Love this video! I always watch your new videos in the early morining and this on makes me hungry. The butter mochi looks delicious, I really want to try it (I could have it for breakfast hahaha) and I need that yakitori! What a great idea the sake taste set, more izakaya need to have that. It would be a good way to promote sake throughout Japan since sake sales are on decline. The wappa crafts look amazing. I thought only bento were made like this so very interesting to see that also other items can be made using the wappa technique. Beautiful nature around that part of the country as well. But if I visit I will go when it's warmer, I'm not good with cold. In the Netherlands we have horsemeat as well although it is not very popular. Sometimes you can buy it in the supermarket. Horse meat steak is delicious if you can you should try it.
Great video!! All the places/shops you went to are beautiful! - I WANT BUTTER MOCHI!! - Satoshi is so funny! 💛 - Shinichi... why you so good looking?? 😍
I love mochi. I also like this video and can’t wait for the next video. It’s so interesting when you go to other parts of japan. And it’s not the “main” tourist places (nothing wrong with those places though).
I love how Satoshi has grown in the videos! I love his food descriptions in English! I love you both, and specially your Japanese food videos! Keep them coming!!! ❤️
I love Akito dogs. They are lovely in looks and temperament.
And the joys of being a couple, stealing each others food. You are both fun to watch.
Mmmmmm...butter mochi and other delicious foods. Gorgeous Akitas. Lovely scenery. Amazing crafts. Even Kabuki. Perfect video.

I *really* wish that both Onigiri and Mochi were more easily available in the U.S.
Aaron Spielman if you are in California, any japanese supermarket will have them! Mitsuwa, marukai, nijiya
