actually, you arent carrying anything in minecraft. you burn the same amount of calories, and it doesnt matter what you are "carrying" so you arent actually carrying it.
I just realized something. Gravity in minecraft doesn't exist. So technically, if you stood under a platform, in real life, your head would be the sole thing carrying that platform. Meaning, your character could carry a full inventory of shulkerboxes with full stacks of gold and the whole weight of the world except for the two blocks you exist as without breaking a sweat.
@@raychen6140 the thing is, you can "carry" all of that, (without considering the fact that an incredible mass condensed in a really small amount of space : 9.6×10⁹ kg in a volume of about few centimeters maximum as we can't even see where the storage is on the character (and I don't wanna know where it is) making it about 10¹⁶ kg/m³... (a neutron star is a maximum of about 10¹⁷ kg/m³) making this, probably one of the densest material in the universe, close to a neutron star or a black hole) but I assure you that with your human strength, you won't move your body with all of this stuff a single milimeter in your entire life, as movement doesn't depend on force (so in newton) but on mass (E=0.5×m×v²). So sure, there's maybe no gravity but there surely is an energy that is here to make all of this move, and that probably don't come from those pretended "ultra extra fat steak" XD

The part that throws a wrench into everything is that your inventory doesn't affect your movement speed. And the hunger bar doesn't either until you're at 3 shank things or lower. So, apparently, both the player's pure strength and the calorie count of foodstuffs adapt to whatever's in your inventory. What the hell is in that steak?
Using control picking to nest chests in one another, the Minecraft player character can actually hold around 6.3x10^505 times the mass of the entire observable universe. There’s a great video on it on the game theory channel. You can find it by searching “the science of Minecraft”
vorlock The libra (Latin for "scales / balance") is an ancient Roman unit of mass that was equivalent to approximately 328.9 grams. It was divided into 12 unciae (singular: uncia), or ounces. The libra is the origin of the abbreviation for pound, "lb"
@@fuckvihaan4949 btw I got my PC burnt because of the NBT trick. I accidentally put written books (with chinese text) in checkerboard order in a chest, then NBT copied the chest, then stacked it and filled another chest with these and a similar one in checkerboard pattern. In 2 cycles it got to from 800 FPS to -2 FPS
One full inventory of NBT data chests, each containing 27 shulkers of enchanted golden apples, as well as a chest in the off hand, and wearing golden armor. Can someone do the math on this?
Also, Game Theory did an episode on Steve's strength. Using NBT data limits Steve can carry more weight in pounds than there exist atoms in every conceivable universe.
I know I am VERY late to the party, but I wanted to extend the marathon bit some more. Mumbo said that for his weightlifting marathon Steve would burn 1.23*10^11 kcal which equals 4.92*10^14 J and would complete it in ca. 1.5 h, or 5400 s. That means during his run Steve has an average power consumption of 91.2 GW (about 100 large scale power plants or 16000 cargo ships). And all of this energy gets dissipated as heat. Now, this much power in such a small volume is interesting. I went through the work and computed Steve's (not Alex's!) outside surface area and got 1248 px^2 or 4.875 m^2. With such enormous power fluxes thermal radiation is going to make up by far most of it. Assuming an albedo of 0.5 and no back-reflection or reabsorption by nearby surfaces using Stefan-Boltzmann's law we can compute, that Steve's surface would have to heat up to 28470K to dissipate all this energy. That is about as hot as the hottest stars in the universe get, and so hot that no material made from atoms can exist in a solid form - everything would get ionized. At this point he would not even glow just white - his light would be bluish white and he would emit powerful deep ultraviolet radiation. But it does not stop there - literally - Steve's power would radiate outward and interact with the environment. For the following computations I assumed that Steve is stood on a flat plane and all the power gets emitted from a point 1.5 m above the ground - that way it is easier than to consider his entire surface. The temperatures are computed from the power flux that would hit the surface at that distance respective the occuring angle. At a 1m radius the ground around Steve would heat up to 16000K. That is almost 3 times hotter than the sun's surface and still well enough to vaporize every material known to humans. At 5m the temperature is 7200K. Everything here glows "only" 3 times as bright as the sun - and is, of course, still completely ionized. 20 m - temperatures reach a comfy 2540K or 2200°C. Some materials like tungsten actually manage to stay solid, but most are molten and many are still being vaporized by the intense heat. 50 m - 1323K or 1000°C - these are finally some reasonable temperatues. But real life lava is still around this hot. So, basically, at this point Steve exists inside a 5 m sphere of ionized plasma that glows 3x brighter than the sun, followed by a 20 m hollow shell of certainly vaporized material surrounded by a 30m wide moat of increasingly violently boiling lava while shining in a bright blue light and emitting incredibly harmful super-hard UV radiation. Thankfully the glowing 10000° plasma sphere will shield us from most of those, as if it would not cause any more problems on its own. The plasma reacts with nitrgen and oxygen in the atmosphere and clouds of toxic nitrogen oxides and ozone are being made. Updrafts from the raging fire storm below carry these gasses into a kind of continuous orange mushroom cloud of death, likely to poison anyone who comes in contact with it. Not to mention everything in a 100 m radius reliably gets set on fire. And all because he wanted to carry his shulker boxes. Poor Steve.

G-unit I see how it is. Alright I’ll play your game. Now you’ve got to take into account all this can be done on the default characters Steve and Alex. Seeing as though Alex is a female and doesn’t have a backpack we can assume she puts it in her pocket, Keeping in mind female pockets don’t exist we can assume then it’s not kept there. “Where els could she keep her inventory you ask?” Well the answer is simple. A close up inspection at the Alex model you will find no inventory box anywhere this means she somehow keeps it accessible and out of sight, the only logical answer being she has compressed it soo small the human eye can not see it. The average person with good eyesight can see 0.1mm let’s say if you had 20/20 vision and squinted really hard you could see 0.05mm with this in mind we construct a bracelet with a storage container no wider than 0.04mm allowing 0.01mm for safety. Seeing as we can fit 36 items into this space in a rectangle shape (4 high 9 wide and 1 deep). If no dimension is aloud to be bigger than 0.04mm than means each inventory slot is no wider than 0.0044mm squared giving us a value of 0.00000009mm cubed. Now we can divide that by 1000 to get cubic cm value of 0.00000000009, if we divide 1 by this number we get 11,111,111,111.11111 that’s how many times it fits into a cubic centimetre. If we take the 9,604,915,200 kg divide that by 36 gives us 266,803,200 kg, multiply that by 1000 to get grams gives us 266,803,200,000 grams and we multiply that by 11,111,111,111.11111 we get 2.96448x10^21 per slot. We now multiply that by 36 giving us 1.0672128x10^23 the density of a “standard” black hole (three times the mass of our sun) is 2x10^15, making this inventory of items 53,000,000 times more dense than a typical black hole.

Stop guys, what if one second in Minecraft equals 10 minutes in Real life. Now everything starts to make sense, beside the lifespan of the character

Poor Steve.

Everyone just glossing over the fact that he just created a black hole in his pocket XD
He still needs 18,219,000 times that mass in the same amount of space for a BH.
