Love Regina.Nathan's brilliant voice. Her rendition of this song shows her love for the divine Mother. Love all her songs, especially Sweet Heart of Jesus! Never fails to move me. Where is she now, I wonder. ❤❤❤
When i was young i remember this being sung with full voice by 200+ which reduced my Gran to tears who was mass every day whatever condition she was in or weather it was. 22nd Sep 2013 this song was played whilst she went of chapel. The chapel was that mobbed people where up on the balcony. This again like my youth was being sung full blast with flowers & rosary beads on her coffin that's how much she was loved in the community. Cant help having tears rolling down from my face remembering that day.
This is one of my favourite hymns in praise of our Lady. It brings me back to the good old days of childhood when my mommy sat at the piano to play this lovely song , and we , brothers and sisters stand around her to sing the song together. Churches nowadays seldom sing this kind of lovely old hymns. I really miss them.
My late father's favorite hymn...reminds me of him whenever I sing or hear the hymn..I love you so much dad..may our lady whom you so honoured while on earth always intercede for you in heaven. Rest well Daddy.
Great Classical Hymn, soul inspiring and captivating, spiritually soothing, I watch and pray it every day, May the writer's lineage never lack any good thing
Three years ago we carried my mum's coffin out of the church after her funeral mass with this beautiful hymn playing and being sung by everyone. God bless you mum.
Another beautiful hymn sung so lovely, as J mentioned previously about this hymn hardly ever sung now, i can relate to this, at my church in Australia you would be lucky to hear this once a year and yet when I was a child in Manchester UK back in the 1950s we sang this hymn so often, sadly all these beautiful old hymns now seem to have been put on the backburner, to appease the modern age.
Magnificent! What a treasure! What a FIND! A performance fitting for the Fifth Glorious Mystery: The Coronation of Our Blessed Mother, Queen of Heaven and Earth!! Thank you, Regina Nathan!! and to IrelandOfQueen for posting! Thank you! Thank you!! I am weeping with joy.... ~ from Minnesota J+M+J
Lovely, lovely, lovely!! No doubt that Mary was pleased! Bravo Regina! May your namesake the Queen of Angels bless you! A pity that the beautiful third verse was left out, though...
How beautiful Regina Nathan is here now on stage. She is Irish. Her other Nationalities, I do not know. I wonder if she is Spaniard and Italian Nationalities of Ancestry. I do not know. {I am Spanish, North American with hardly any Hispanic, Spanish is almost a term for us who have other "Nationalities of Ancestry" such as European, U.K., Scandinavian, Native North American of the First People, First Nations of Bands, Clans, Tribes of North America. The Cowboy Indians of the movies are real in today's world they sing and have "bands, music bands".😊 [To borrow a set phrase terminology, as 007 Bond of England says, "Bond, James Bond",, as I say "(I am) Catholic, Roman Catholic".]}
Mary is Queen of Heaven Jesus was The Messiah, which means annointed-king & son of David. So The Angel says to Mary (Luke 1:32-33) "…Behold, you will conceive and give birth to a son, and you shall give Him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David, and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever. His kingdom will never end!” What you need to know is that The Davidic Kings ALWAYS had a Queen....And THE QUEEN WAS THE KING'S MUM (too many wives). Moreover she had a role (Gebirah) to intercede with The King for his people & he would never refuse her. Jesus Mission only starts because his Mum (Queen) intercedes. John 2:3-5 …"When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to Him, “They have no more wine.” “Woman, why does this concern us? Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever He tells you.”… (1)Why does Jesus call his mum "woman"?... Because that was Eve's name before she fell. She was "The Woman". Mother of all the living. (2)Why does he defer to his mother (Queen) against his will? Because she is interceding as his Gebirah. It makes more sense now doesn't it..... honestly? Without this you have Jesus mouthing his mum and not knowing his own mind! Try reading Revelations from 11:19 through Chapter12 (The chapter divisions are added) You have Mary shown as (1)God's Ark (2)Queen of Heaven (3)Mother of the Messiah (4)New Eve, opponent of Satan, as Gen3:15 The woman who with her seed will crush the serpent/dragon/satan (5)Mother of those who follow God's commandments (The Church) So Jesus last act on the cross in John is to say to his mother & John "Behold thy mother" & "WOMAN.....behold thy son". "Behold" means "here is"....your mother .... a statement of cosmic reality.....not just a new domestic arrangement.
@@wilts43 Amen to all that !! I don't really know why protestants and other denominations will object though i am not a catholic but Calvinsistic . So can there be such a thing As a Calvinist-catholic that does not recoginse the universial church and only as a mystical cosmic church
Why can't President Putin of Russia hear this Opera Soprano, Miss Regina Nathan, of Ireland, although her appearance seems as if she is a Roman Lady of that era of Christ, surely as she would have been an early Christian helping early Christians, (maybe Russell Crowe may have an interest in Opera? Gladiator Film) especially beautiful the hymn Sweet Heart of Jesus and this one, Hail Holy Queen Hymn? He, President Vladimir Putin, loves Opera, so the University PBS documentary said. And, what about Frank Patterson, Opera Tenor, the Hymn, Flowers of the Rarest? Faith of our Fathers, Vol. I and II, 2 CD Albums. Has this Russian President seen these UA-cam Videos? She, Miss Nathan, is beautiful in expression. Could he acknowledge Ireland's Fair Lady, Our Lady, the Ocean's Star, as Miss Nathan sings in hymn of her? Could he especially note, the end of Hymn, Sweet Heart of Jesus? He can sing at his Sunday obligation to our Lord God in a soft pitch if he hears this songful heartfilled voice of hers and this particular hymn just by the Soprano's soft response to our Lady Mary's gentleness. As we remember the roses and sweet music voice of our Queen in her visitations, and in the Opera hymn sung, as the Soprano, her own lovely voice at the end is significant to the call of Mary to sing of her Son (more and more). Sweet Mary our Mother yields her quiet yes from one hymn to the other hymn by her Immaculate Heart filled in love of us and Him, of Mother, to the The Sweet Heart of Jesus Hymn, hmmm? Cannot she always feel love for her own Son and sing her music voice with I love you throughout our praises, maybe? From a USA, North American, Roman Catholic

How do we recapture the belief system which fortified us in an earlier life?
By starting with a daily Rosary. God will bless us thru His Holy Mother.
Pray for the emergence of the Devine Feminine, love must be the guiding force on the planet or we shall all die.
Voice of goddess
Amazing . B
Nice
Beautiful tune, sung beautifully, but my concern is :does the bible teach us of a 'Queen of Heaven'?
Yes - read Revelations...
Chris Mills Thanks. May i ask for the specific reference in revelations?

Yes, well behaved women seldom make history.
But they most certainly do improve it considerably!
Im not sure I like it sung in opera. I like the hymn though just better sung in normal voice
You're just insulting the QUEEN OF MODESTY AND INTEGRITY THE MOTHER OF MY GOD MARY MOST HOLY!!!
