You misunderstand. Chemtrails are contrails that contain chemicals. It is not the chemicals in the chemtrails that create the trails, it is water as in any contrails. You can't see it if contrails contain chemicals or are surrounded by chemicals, but they may last longer.

Being the air temp at 35000Ft is about -65Deg.F. I would think this would also cause problems for whatever someone might want to spray up their. All of the rockets and the shuttle launches produce trails also. Aircraft that maneuver abruptly in high moisture air will also produce visible trails from their trailing edges from the moisture being compressed by the aircraft. Just like an air compressors will do on a humid day and that's why we have to drain water out of compressor tanks. I am 69 years old and as a child at 5 years old and up would lay on the ground and watch the airplanes and contrails so if the contrails are an indication of any nefarious actions they have been doing it for a long long time without success.
