  • Hey guys! I'm Sarah, a Japanese local and businesswoman sharing my life and experiences straight from Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵 Join me as I unveil the colourful layers of Japanese food and culture, and provide you with an authentic look into the daily wonders of living in this vibrant city ✨
In today's video, we're diving into an extraordinary experience right in the heart of Tokyo - a visit to Yuen Shinjuku, an Onsen Ryokan that combines the tranquility of traditional Japanese inns with the pulsating energy of Shinjuku, one of Tokyo's most dynamic districts. From the serene onsen baths sourced from Hakone's natural hot springs to the exquisite dining experience that tantalizes the taste buds with authentic Japanese flavors, I'll take you on a journey through this hidden gem that offers an oasis of calm amidst the city's hustle and bustle.

That last shot of the skyline behind you was amazing! It looked almost like an anime; it reminded me of "Your Name"!

Thank you for the video! It's amazing to find out that we don't need to travel far into the countryside to enjoy the perfect onsen, we can have it at such a nice place inside Tokyo! Definitely need to visit! And did you just mention unlimited natto at breakfast? OMG!!! You had me earlier already with everything else, especially the view, but that one would have been enough in itself too!!!!! It's definitely a place I need to visit. Thank you!!! ☺

    Sarah

    Beautiful video.
The ice cream thing must be new, I never noticed it before but in all the Dormy Inns my son and I stayed in they also had it there. I've been trying to find equivalent ice lollies in the UK and so far failed. I remember the best was a purple grape sorbet on a stick from a vending machine outside the onsen in the kyoto hotel, that was 300 yen and phenomenal, look forward to visiting again, Japan is such a treat!

I agree, I think a lot of hotels are doing some sort of unlimited food to attract customers and it's great!

Ohhhh great video Sarah, as always. It looks luxurious and Its a experience I would like to have, especially taste the wine jeje
I wonder, all hot springs are equal?, I mean the experience itself is the same? The only difference would be things such as the view or the decorations?.I have never gone to an onsen, so sorry for my lack of knowledge 😅
    Thank you Sarah 🌸😁

The water of the hot springs are different depending on the region and it is said to have different health benefits! As for the ryokan, the interior, type of service, food, etc. are all very different! If you go to the ones in other prefectures, you normally get to enjoy food from that region. That's why I love experiencing different ryokans 😊

Hello, you mentioned non-guests can book reservations for the restaurant, but can non-guests reserved the onsen? Are there any other recommended onsens or even spas in Tokyo? Someone suggested Spa Laqua.
