I applaud TNA for doing a camera hiding and recording backstage stuff between wrestlers. Makes it way more believable than just the wrestlers pretending they aren't there. We haven't really seen the hidden camera man trick since that segments in TNA. It really should be done more.

The backstage segment for the open challenge was the nicest bit added. It served a simple explanation rather than meta humour that kinda just ignores it in the end.
That's why I gotta hand it to old TNA, when it came to the backstage segments. I liked how they portrayed it as the camera people hiding getting a sudden exclusive not to be caught kinda deal. Made it feel a bit more authentic.
Speaking of the "giant TV screen" moment, I remember a match between Eddie Guerrero and Booker T, where Eddie was doing his usual playing possum and sneaking up when Booker wasn't looking, but Booker could see him on the big screen.
He achieved pretty much everything there is to achieve in WWE and has now been doing the same thing in other companies. It's just easy to forget how much he accomplished when he was always booked and portrayed as the least important member of the Shield trio after their breakup.

Like he wins a match using a kendo stick and then says "Man, I'm glad the ring crew had to stop and practice their kendo before finishing the ring last night."- And at the end of each promo he could say "I'm not just a lucky Mark....I'm a Smart Mark" Just think of the merchandising sales with all the Smart Mark t-shirts being sold to the.....well......smart marks.
