I have to say this song is one of the best songs I have ever heard. This is song-writing at it's best.Performed at a very high-level to a very impressive audience!Well done all!
I was there, the fans swomped Stirling couldn't move for us haha! Gutted Brucey's gone though, cried a lot since his death on the 5th Sept, genuinely gutted not been like this since my late Grandmothers death (maybe less numb than that this time, but still hurts).
I absolutely love Runrigs music - too bad they never play in Sweden! I have been a fan since late 80's and listen to them every day. Bruce's voice is absolutely amazing - wish I had been at this concert - but have it on dvd. =)
mar sin leat - I think that means goodbye, never had or learnt the gaelic tongue - but will always love and respect everything you have done and will do. Tapadh leat. soraidh slàn le mo charaid, you have decided to move on, I will love your music now and always. Thanks for being there I will hold you In my heart always. Blue Skies x
I would so love to meet him, I'm a big fan of him and his guitarplaying. I was so shocked when he fell ill, first concert after I was up front and gave him a bucket of roses :D
To think that song came from Rory as he attended a family funeral just above clachen sands on the island of usit thus the reference to open up the ground open up the sand. Returing again just a row of unlite candles waitting at the gate of saints. A reference to the grave stones of those who lay in the grave yard
Of course I was, didn't know what to do of myself! My friend didn't have internet when it happened so I had to feed her with all the information I could find, it was a very odd time.. We agreed we'd do everything we could to show him how happy we were that he was back the next time we saw him, so we also made a big poster saying 'Welcome Back'. He looked very happy when he saw it.
seen them in the barrowlands 1981 then the royal concert hall in Glasgow a couple of years ago was told to sit doon! aye fuckin right!!! am 64 keep on rockin boogie mc boogie face!
RIP Bruce Guthro😥
Probably the best lead guitar performance and production I have ever heard. The solo rift at the end is just outstanding.
Ah that's Malcolm
My favourite Runrig song performed in the most beautiful manner. Gets me every single time. THANK YOU.
