Great job! Thanks for a very thorough detailed and well paced lesson which even a longtime beginner can follow. Have always loved this song and now I have a decent chance of being able to play it!

Hi Angel, thanks for watching. It's an unusual model made in Japan. Basically it's like a tele deluxe. Thanks for watching the lesson. All the best Simon
Hey Carter, thanks! I'm glad that the lesson helped. The Tele I'm playing is a weird one, it's a signature tele of a Japanese fella - Futoshi Abe. It's a CIJ - I changed the pickup toggle to the normal place and the pickguard to a standard white (it was pearlescent). The sound is stright into my amp - fender deluxe at about 4.5. Rick dont play the Bm part in the chorus like that. He plays a D A D A with the B bass over it. He only plays the part the way you do in the key change before the solo.
Neil Giraldo. One of the great solos of the 80s. Great lesson!
Thanks Mark ... No crackles. Lol.

@@davidisenberg125 I totally understand what you mean. I still find the whole thing so absorbing, but I've only been at for 40 years... Haha!
Hey, great lesson. What model guitar are you using? Is that a Fender 70s tele?
