- it’s september and you know what that means!! a new major ios update so of course i wanted to make a quick video to show you how to use some of my favorite new features such as focus mode, live text, notification summary, background sounds, and more! hope you enjoy this video and thanks sm for supporting me and being so awesome! luv ya :)

I cannot explain to you how excited I am to customise my phone because if it's one thing that I love it's getting to decorate something and make it your own!!! The only problem is I am so indecisive when it's comes to how I want the background to look like. Wish me luck 😂😂
literally exactly how I am! i love all features that have to do with customizing your phone but I’m really indecisive sometimes which makes it hard for me to choose how I want my Home Screen to look lol😆💕

Lyric thank you SO MUCH for this video. I’m a teacher and I focus (lol) a lot on teaching my students how to use their devices and not the other way around. But it’s clear I have so much to learn about iOS 15 for myself too.
How do you make it to where on each focus mode you have different wallpapers or icons? It was all helpful, it’s just that’s what I’m most struggling with!
i’m actually not sure how to do that yet! I haven’t found a tutorial either and i’m not even 100% sure you can actually do that yet😌

Go to automation and then hit the + sign after that hit create personal automation, then scroll down to your custom focus that you made. Hit “when turning on” and then hit add action > find photo then the blue text That’s highlighted change recents to album ( before this or while you have to make a album with one picture you want as an wallpaper you want for this focus). Then at the bottom search bar look up set wallpaper and then you should be done just make sure show preview is off (hope this was helpful, I can name a useful video too)
this is extremely helpful!! i am thinking about making this sort of video (not copying yours) and this definitely helped me understand some of the features!
love this video!! can u make a tut about how to connect the focus things to a shortcut so it doesn’t only change your apps/widgets it also changes your background. i’ve seen other people do it but i can’t figure out how..

Ok I no I’m late and you prob won’t see this but it would really really help I saw you had a few pages for the focus thing so that you can change that for the specific focus and I was wondering how did you make multiple because I can find how to do that anywhere but you had it so please please please tell me bc I really want to do this lol well thank you
When I change focus mode my Home Screen wallpaper changes fine but my Lock Screen wallpaper also changes. Is there anyway I can change it? If not that’s fine I was just wondering since it’s kinda annoying. Love the video btw. ✨

wait if you have different focus mode things, like personal, work and a “fun” mode can you change what apps are on which mode? For example I have education apps on work, and social media apps on personal?

Awesome video!! Quick question…how do you add the same app on multiple pages with custom icons using shortcuts? When I have an app on a homepage and try to put the same app on another page, it just moves the original over to the new page. I’m trying to make pages for focus mode but the same app will be used in different modes. I hope I explained that right. Thanks a lot!!!
try dragging the app from your app library as opposed to another separate home screen 😄👍🏼
for switching settings for different focuses does it work the same for Ipads? Ive been doing the exact same thing you did for my Ipad and if seems to not work

you can probably create a focus where you still get notifs from all apps it would just take a bit to add each app😃
