Absurd. You uploaded this video right today during which I've been thinking too much about the things I should start to do for healing. It's the right day for me for listening to your advices. You're right: one thing at a time!

Thank you for making this video, Julian. You're absolutely right that if you're feeling like you need to make sure to do a bunch of different things on a list perfectly and some may be really hardcore, it creates stress and anxiety. I know bc I'm doing such a program so I'm going to remember to relax and do things gently and not sweat being perfect about everything.

You're so helpful. This is such a great reflexion about how the human brain works and how this relates to the tinnitus. I totally agree with your vision. Thanks again! I'm slowly making progress thanks to you! I trust my common sense as well.

Hi Julian. So glad you posted this video. There are a few people on UA-cam ( you know who they are ) that have good intentions but also affect those that are most vulnerable with this condition, myself included.
Thanks again for all your assistance over the years.
    Mike.

Good point, getting very wary of a certain other person posting about this on UA-cam on a very "follow my advice or else" aggressive attitude.

It really is getting your head around that T is a stress related symptom and that rushing around in a desperate state to find things to stop it is the worst thing you can do because it just creates more anxiety and hence more adrenalin and cortisol in your system. I suppose it is a process of gradual lessening of the symptom than smashing it away into orbit.

Hello fellow tinnitus sufferers, Funny story how i got mine, 3 weeks ago now, i was smoking marijuana late at night and my dad comes out saying hes got tinnitus, i asked him whats that and hes saying its a ringing in his ears, i go back to my room, then i hear the ringing... and it hasn't stopped since, freaked out for 2-3 days and went to an audiologist, and they said it cant be helped, started doing my own research and came across Julian, after a few of his videos and a couple of days to adjust and realize that it is just a symptom of the unhealthy lifestyle i live,(smoking, drugs, diet, exercise, emotional stress ive held onto which i didnt even think was there and normal day to day stress) , have also found that if you can get into a deep-state of relaxation it can kinda fade out but also affects the following day being much quieter, simple massage by partner could achieve this, i have made some changes to my life style and the noise has significantly dropped away, im hoping to tackle these greater demons/habits shortly and hope the tinnitus completely falls away even when im listening for it. Many people suffer from it ive just found out alot of my friends parents have it.
thank you Julian i will spread the knowledge.

We have the same experience. When I learned about Tinnitus through googling online then I went to quiet room and tried to hear it BOOM!!! I heard it and since then my T did not go away. So now I am in the process of rewiring my brains !!!

I have been following your posts and advice for a few months now and really feel an improvement, not only in tinnitus perception, but in mind and body generally, most likely as a result of yoga practice and self care. One thought I keep coming back to recently however is whether the tinnitus is the whole problem. Are other issues still processing for which tinnitus gets the blame. Have any of your videos covered this Julian, and is it a common trait?
Perhaps a more accurate way to describe the feeling is,
"is tinnitus really the problem today? Am I tired, irritable or disappointed with something for which tinnitus is getting the blame without looking at the actual issue?"

Thank you julian for always giving us this safe place to go to . I personally feel much better just listening to you . I had tinnitus 5 months ago and already read your book . Still need to buy the recent book tho , I tend to have loud ear- piercing sound few times a month and the other times it's just bearable . I want to believe that there will be time where I'll just stop hearing this sound at all.. I can't go fasting tho because of my stomach ulcer . Did you do fasting to get rid of yours ?

    Good morning Julian
I messaged you while you were on holiday, asking when you were back and you told me, I want to come and see you and fully intended to do so, but I am worried you are not going to be able to help me, I have had t every day, all day all night, sometimes 3 or 4 different noises/ sounds at the same time for around 11 years, so I am worried to hear you say there's nothing you can do for me...

Hi julian. Alot of your videos seem to be aimed at people who have just got tinnitus. I have had tinnitus now for around 7 years and find every time i have a spike it feels like i just got tinnitus again and it really gets me down and depressed, even tho i have managed it for so long. Is this normal ? as i really seem to struggle every time it spikes, and it allways spikes with stress never loud noise ?
