They are essentially two very different games. However, since Anno is more of a DLC simulator than a game, and Tropico 6, despite the DLCs, offers a great experience as a base game while Anno basically forces you to buy the DLC, the decision is easy for me: Tropico 6 > Anno 1800. What do you think?
@@Pixelated-Quest I have picked up Anno 1800 with no DLCs recently and it plays really well. I don't think DLCs are necessary to enjoy the game. I haven't played Tropico 6 yet (just picked up with Humble Bundle, I'm going to play it soon), but I have hundreds of hours with 3,4 and 5 and I think Tropico is easier and more relaxing than Anno because you don't have to jump between two continents like you do in Anno and in general you have fewer elements to control. I know Tropico 6 introduces multiple islands, so it's getting closer to Anno 1800 in that regards. I think both games are really fun though, anyone who like the genre should play both.
You can, in a way at least. Just click, for example, on the plantation and set the wages (5 money icons at the top, just under where it says budget). That does control the wages somewhat. But I guess you mean like an exact input amount. 🙂
Last Tropico I played was 3, this looks pretty good actually will give it a try
you think is better tropico 6 or 1800?

I wish they would let us adjust wages in tropico 6.
