A LOT of changes in the collection over the last 6 months! Definitely a couple of pieces in there that I like - the blue Tudor homage and the Speedmaster homage. I agree that the oyster style bracelet should be preferred over the multi-link bracelet from Omega. Thanks for sharing.

A true pleasure to see the current SOTC. All pieces that I currently own, and/or would own. I've found the PD-1692 "Ver-WR4K," black dial, to be a piece that I cannot take off my wrist. I've very much bonded w/ it. In fact, when considering the purchase of it, I considered the SN020-G, black dial variant, as well. I 100% agree that the PD-1692 "Air King," is a much more appealing watch, than the Rolex variant, that it is homaged to. As such, I am considering purchasing it, as well, sometime in the near future. Finally, I think it would be a great idea, if Pagani Design, were to sell the mirror-polished "PD" logo shield, for collectors to upgrade the dials, of previously purchased, Pagani Design models. Watches produced prior to the implementation, of the mirror-polished, shield logo. Maybe sell them in singles, bundles of 3, and also 10. A range of options. I’m going to be selling loads of my homage watches which are mainly Pagani Design which are good but still need tweaking and all this new version business isn’t for the customers benefit but more their bottom line. I have a 2015 Speedy and when I compare my Pagani classic black, my blue Panda face and Sedna gold homage they seem to fall short in the satisfaction department and was considering selling all bar my Omega Speedmaster and buying some super clones but after finding this excellent watch channel I’ll watch many more vids before making any decision. I bought a Sugess Ocean Star and the quality is exceptional for a £160 watch. Bought it after purchasing the Sugess version of the Sea-Gull 63 Panda Column Wheel Swan Neck Regulator Chronograph which again is a really nice watch and minus the Chinese Dial lettering of the 21 Zuan (Jewel) and also with a beautiful premium leather strap. Just received my Pagani 1701 V3 Speedmaster and it is a fantastic watch. I too have the Daytona Homage by Pagani and am looking into their Milgauss Homage at the moment which looks great as well as the Planet Ocean and also the Pagani Sea Dweller Homage in half bezel Blue Bottle green. Some extremely well made homage watches available at this moment, great days to be a watch collector with the excellent craftsmanship coming out of China. I have 3 MWC (Military Watch Company) Tritium watches which are beautiful too though not exactly homages but not far off. Made in Zurich with Japanese Seiko movements, Quartz or Mechanical, Sapphire Crystals, Ceramic Bezels and very well priced at around £250 to £350. Only down side are the pressed clasps but they are well engineered for non milled pieces. I have a Tag F1 Maclaren Anniversary Edition which cost me over £3,000 and a few other higher end pieces but my Homage watches get just as much love. Great channel and your macro camerawork setup is top quality. Sharp, in focus and well lit, many other 'bigger' watch channels don't offer the same visual quality that you do. With fine watches, it is all about the fine detail. Any watch looks good to a blindman on a galloping horse but closeups of every detail of a watch is essential to me. With some camera work, you wouldn't see any difference between a 'WhoFlungDung' £15 lookey likey or a genuine Tudor Black Bay 😂.
My June 2022 SOTC is less one watch compared to yours. Got 3 pieces affordable from PD and 2 pieces of daily beater from Benyar.. But you've got their more luxury Chinese collection from SM.. Nice collection IMHO.. Keep it coming and have a nice day!

Got my 1701 V3 a couple of days ago. I'm going to put a MilTat RAF N7 3-D Woven nylon nato strap,matte black with sand blasted ladder lock slider buckle. Comfortable strap and looks amazing. I prefer Nylon/Perlon straps in the warmer months.
I bought the sn006-g2 instead of 008 especially for similar reasons. It doesn't look too much like any existing diver watches on the market so there's less of a homage feel it but more of an inspired/borrowed one.

I love your reviews. One question if I may ask is what kind of light the videos are filmed in? It seems as if maybe it’s a fluorescent bright white light. I thought at first the videos were shot in black and white instead of color. Perhaps if a warm white bulb were used, it would show the watches in a more natural light. See my recent videos, I have upgraded my studio lighting. I used to use two soft boxes with 65 watt 5500K LED lights. I now use three soft boxes with 125 watt 5500K LED lights. Yes, 2700K would be warmer; but not bright enough. 5500K is colder, but is brighter; so shows the watches better in 4K. Regards, #WR4K
Great choices! I would love to see you review the MoonsSwatch. One thing that bugs me with dive watch bezels is the ten seconds marks. I look for symmetry more than I need to be alerted about resurfacing on a dive. I do know how to count to ten.

I am very similar to you in taste but when I look at your watches they are exactly the same as mine they have clean dials they don't have extra Bologna and and they have a clean look to them that nobody else has. I'm car guy and watches that are simple hit the spot
I love my Pagani Design PD-1692 Air King homage...except for the terrible micro-adjust and divers extension. I have no idea how to adjust the micro - adjust and you need the Jaws of Life to even attempt the divers extension. The micro-adjust holes--if you can even call them that--are barely dimples, and you can't even access them. What was Pagani Design thinking?
I have the pagani hulk homage and I completely agree with you on the diver extension, it's so tight that I need a small screwdriver to pry it open. The micro adjusts aren't that bad as long as you have a bracelet sizing tool, but the unfortunate problem is you need to open the diver extension to access them, which in our case is a major pain in the ass given how hard it is to open the extension.

I like the Pagani air king, same as you never liked the Rolex version I won’t buy a watch unless you say it’s a champagne watch for lemonade money. No. I dislike the image Rolex, and the Submariner now has; hence selling my 2021 one this year. I also abhor the Rolex AD waiting list nonsense. Also having drive 2 hours (108 miles) to my nearest AD to have an extra link fitted to my Submariner. With my Oyster Perpetual 41 they posted it and I fitted it myself. Now they make one present the piece at the AD. I dislike the image of wearing a social media hyped investment piece, that is flipped at profit on the grey market. When I bought my first Submariner 14060M 24 years ago, there was none of that waiting list nonsense. My feeling about the brand really changed when wearing my Hulk in 2018. I could never relax and enjoy wearing it due to it being an investment piece that was appreciating in value. So it had low feel good factor as a result. With a San Martin, or Pagani Design, one can wear the watch hard and not care about damaging it as they are inexpensive to replace; thus the feel good factor is higher. As stated in my previous SOTC reviews; I see the Submariner as a 2000 Euro watch, which isn't worth the current 14,000 Euro grey market value. The truth is I enjoy my current 6 pieces more than I did my Submariner. Regards, #WR4K

WR4K, do you know if the bracelet of the PD-1667, would fit the case of the PD-1679, correctly??? IMHO, this would create one of the best looking, and most accurate "Planet Ocean" style homages, on the market to date. An accurate bracelet version, anyway. I would very much like to try this combo, but I am no sure if the components would mesh correctly. Any advice you could offer in said area, would be much appreciated. Cheers...
I haven't tried a 1667 bracelet on a 1679; but the lug profiles are similar, so I think the end links will fit the case. The only problem could be the spring bar holes may be in a different position. Agreed, this would look excellent. Regards, #WR4K

I'm planning to purchase a 1701 V3, but unfortunately I'm not a man well endowed in the wrist section. Do you think the 1701's original bracelet can fit a 5.5"-6" wrist?

Similar heft on the bracelet, however it looks and feels wider on wrist. On a strap it feels top heavy. On the bracelet its better balanced; but the problem is it doesn't size down to a 6" wrist. So if you have a 6-6.5" wrist it will be hard to get the right fit. Really it best fits a 7-8" wrist. Regards, #WR4K

Out of curiosity - as someone viewing your channel for first time - you have obviously owned some Rolex etc in past, and you clearly enjoy the design of the major luxury brands (Rolex, Tudor, Omega) - so why not buy the originals? Even if it means taking longer to own, or only have 2-3 of them? Is it simply a financial call? Or something more? Cheers.
I bought my first Submariner 14060M when I was 21. In the last 24 years of collecting I have owned several Submariner, and Submariner Date's. I sold my 2021 124060 this year. I dislike the Rolex AD waiting list nonsense. With my Oyster Perpetual 41 my Rolex AD posted the 2 extra bracelet links I needed. With my Submariner I had to travel 120 miles to my AD to have a link fitted as they changed their policy and no longer post links. I dislike the brand image Rolex now has, and the image the Submariner has as a social media hyped investment piece which is flipped on the grey market at profit. When I was 19 I saved up for 2 years as a University student to afford the £2500 needed to buy a pre-owned 14060M. Back then there was no Rolex AD waiting list nonsense, and the Submariner was freely available at AD's. I wore the watch hard the same as a low-tier piece. I didn't care about scratching it as I didn't see it as an investment that would be devalued by damage. With my Hulk in 2018 I could never relax and enjoy wearing it as it was appreciating rapidly in value. I was conscious that any scratches to it would devalue it. I sold it after 8 months. I also disliked wearing a watch that was being hyped on social media, as it looked like I bought it as an investment, rather than buying it because I was a collector that liked the watch. I prefer wearing homage watches as I can relax and wear them hard as per my first Submariner. They aren't investments that appreciate in value; therefore I don't worry about devaluing them with scratches. If I damage one, I can just buy another and its posted to me within 2 weeks. No AD waiting list nonsense. They also come with enough links to fit my 8" wrist; so no need to order a link and travel 120 miles to my nearest AD to have one fitted. I never bought a Rolex to be accepted into a Rolex fanboy fraternity, or feed my ego on my channel. I am secure and don't care what Rolex fanboys think of the watches I own. With regards to Tudor, and Omega. I have previously owned a Black Bay, and 2500 Planet Ocean. I disliked the thickness of the Black Bay. The current Planet Ocean is too thick so I don't want one. I get feel good factor from wearing my homage watches. I didn't get that feel good factor from wearing my 2021 124060. Regards, #WR4K

And refreshing to see someone genuinely illustrating joy in the hobby is not (or should not) be about price or even brand - but the watch itself. I’ve never much warmed to homages but not for the reason so many on YT spout on about - more because I find joy in less celebrated design languages from brands like Sinn, Oris, Seiko or Nomos. These designs are rarely homaged, or if they are (Seiko) the price differential is so insignificant as to steer me to the original creator (usually more for the ability to buy in store and have peace of mind over fit and guarantee etc). I did own a Steinhart GMT ocean 39 for a period but sold for the same reasons (straight lugs) but also the handset looked flat and cheap. Did have my eye on the Sugess Top Time homage chronograph at one point, perhaps I’ll pull the trigger and see what all the fuss is about with AliExpress.

Are you referring to San Martin, or Pagani Design guarantees? I will advise on both anyway. If you are concerned about a guarantee on San Martin watches I recommend purchasing from watchdives.com (use the "WR4K" 10 USD discount code). Reason being they cover the watch with a 3 year warranty, rather than the usual 2 year warranty from San Martin. For Pagani Design I recommend Amazon, as the purchase is covered by the Amazon A-to-z guarantee when purchasing from a third party. The problem with the Pagani Design 12 month guarantee when purchasing from an AliExpress store is one is at the mercy of the respective reseller. Some offer partial refunds, some offer full refunds, some offer no refund. The AliExpress dispute process is only valid within 15 days from the order closing. You can open a dispute on the 11th day after seller has sent out your order and within 15 days of the orders completion. The problem with that is if your watch develops a defect on the 16th day onwards you cannot claim a refund via the dispute process. In the case of a warranty return, you the buyer will pay for the return shipping to China which is non-refundable. For example you would pay circa 20 Euro for tracked return shipping on a 100 Euro piece. The negative of buying from Amazon versus AliExpress is the watches cost more. For example a 100 Euro Pagani Design on AliExpress will be 130 Euro on Amazon. However it may be worth paying the extra 30 Euro in order to have the A-to-z guarantee cover. The build quality, Quality Control, reliability; of San Martin watches are higher than Pagani Design watches. The 2 year San Martin warranty is better than the Pagani Design 12 month warranty. Same applies to purchasing a San Martin from Watchdives, or San Martin Official Store. Generally they will offer to supply the replacement part, and pay for your local watchmaker to repair. If that isn't viable, they offer a refund or replacement piece when the defective one is returned. With Pagani Design resellers they will typically offer a partial refund and you keep the defective watch. Regards, #WR4K
Have you ever noticed that in the Daytona watch the chronograph was spelled CHRON0GRAPH. I am not sure it if it's a typo that they used "0" (zero) instead of O. I wanted to pick that up but I held off because of it. Stunning watch regardless hope they'll fix that typo.
Agree whole heartily about 20 -16 .Infact I won't make a purchase if it 20-18 or just straight from top to bottom .Also using the word abhorrent is a little extreme & way over used in this video
I have the PD moonwatch on the original bracelet and I have hairy arms, but no problem at all with hair catching issues. So there must be at least two different varieties of hair.... So to say that this watch needs a different bracelet is not true for everybody with hairy arms.
Don't tell people how tight they should wear their watches. Some like them tight, some like them very loose, some like them slightly loose. Some like them left of the knuckle, some like them past the knuckle. Don't try to convince people of wearing their watches how they like them to be worn.

Am I missing something here? Is this subtle trolling? The watch case. The gloves. Calling these Chinese 'homage' (aka rip-off fakes) watches 'pieces'. This isn't for real is it? I'm all for high value watches, don't get me wrong, but for the money they want for these wrist worn law suits, you could get some amazing watches from proper value manufacturers. These look like toys you'd get for kids that want to look like they're wearing daddies Rolex. The Chinese really are shameless in their copying culture.
Yes, you are missing something. I have previously owned (from new) : Rolex Submariner, Sea Dweller, Daytona, plus various Tudor, Tag Heuer and Breitling. I have also owned a pre-owned 18ct DayDate, so I feel qualified to offer an opinion on the 'quality' and ownership experience of these brands. Having recently sold the last of my Rolex's , the Daytona for £20k (having bought it new for £3,600) and recently discovering the world of homage watches, I can guarantee you that there is very little difference in terms of enjoyment between owning the original versus the best of the homage equivalents. Unless you have owned both, any criticism is worthless. I too own the PD Air King and Daytona models reviewed in this video and love them. My Cronos Sub homage is wonderful and am currently awaiting the arrival of the San Martin Datejust model. If you only enjoy owning the 'original' versions, then fine. Enjoy. But don't criticise others who derive similar enjoyment from the homage versions. And don't assume that owners only buy them because they cannot afford the originals. I for one, will never overpay for an 'original' again. Homage watches are the future for me!

A true pleasure to see the current SOTC. All pieces that I currently own, and/or would own. I've found the PD-1692 "Ver-WR4K," black dial, to be a piece that I cannot take off my wrist. I've very much bonded w/ it. In fact, when considering the purchase of it, I considered the SN020-G, black dial variant, as well. I 100% agree that the PD-1692 "Air King," is a much more appealing watch, than the Rolex variant, that it is homaged to. As such, I am considering purchasing it, as well, sometime in the near future. Finally, I think it would be a great idea, if Pagani Design, were to sell the mirror-polished "PD" logo shield, for collectors to upgrade the dials, of previously purchased, Pagani Design models. Watches produced prior to the implementation, of the mirror-polished, shield logo. Maybe sell them in singles, bundles of 3, and also 10. A range of options. Do you think this possible, and if so, would you consider recommending it to the factory??? Thanks for sharing your collection. Very enjoyable to watch. Cheers...

Wow, how did I miss this channel, it’s the best info for homage watches I’ve ever seen. I’m going to be selling loads of my homage watches which are mainly Pagani Design which are good but still need tweaking and all this new version business isn’t for the customers benefit but more their bottom line. I have a 2015 Speedy and when I compare my Pagani classic black, my blue Panda face and Sedna gold homage they seem to fall short in the satisfaction department and was considering selling all bar my Omega Speedmaster and buying some super clones but after finding this excellent watch channel I’ll watch many more vids before making any decision.

Hi sir, I've just recently bought a San Martin 62mas 37mm homage and it's great I like it more than my oris diver65 and my Longines I just think I enjoy wearing cheaper watches I don't feel worried and as you know SM are great watches and good quality carry on with your great videos
I bought a Sugess Ocean Star and the quality is exceptional for a £160 watch. Bought it after purchasing the Sugess version of the Sea-Gull 63 Panda Column Wheel Swan Neck Regulator Chronograph which again is a really nice watch and minus the Chinese Dial lettering of the 21 Zuan (Jewel) and also with a beautiful premium leather strap.
Just received my Pagani 1701 V3 Speedmaster and it is a fantastic watch. I too have the Daytona Homage by Pagani and am looking into their Milgauss Homage at the moment which looks great as well as the Planet Ocean and also the Pagani Sea Dweller Homage in half bezel Blue Bottle green. Some extremely well made homage watches available at this moment, great days to be a watch collector with the excellent craftsmanship coming out of China.
I have 3 MWC (Military Watch Company) Tritium watches which are beautiful too though not exactly homages but not far off. Made in Zurich with Japanese Seiko movements, Quartz or Mechanical, Sapphire Crystals, Ceramic Bezels and very well priced at around £250 to £350. Only down side are the pressed clasps but they are well engineered for non milled pieces. I have a Tag F1 Maclaren Anniversary Edition which cost me over £3,000 and a few other higher end pieces but my Homage watches get just as much love.
Great channel and your macro camerawork setup is top quality. Sharp, in focus and well lit, many other 'bigger' watch channels don't offer the same visual quality that you do. With fine watches, it is all about the fine detail. Any watch looks good to a blindman on a galloping horse but closeups of every detail of a watch is essential to me. With some camera work, you wouldn't see any difference between a 'WhoFlungDung' £15 lookey likey or a genuine Tudor Black Bay 😂.

I'm going to put a MilTat RAF N7 3-D Woven nylon nato strap,matte black with sand blasted ladder lock slider buckle.
Comfortable strap and looks amazing.
I prefer Nylon/Perlon straps in the warmer months.

I bought the sn006-g2 instead of 008 especially for similar reasons. It doesn't look too much like any existing diver watches on the market so there's less of a homage feel it but more of an inspired/borrowed one.

In the last 2 years I have experimented with different size collections; 3, 2, and 1; but I got bored of wearing the same watch daily. I find 6 is a nice size collection as it has enough variety. I love your reviews. One question if I may ask is what kind of light the videos are filmed in? It seems as if maybe it’s a fluorescent bright white light. I thought at first the videos were shot in black and white instead of color. Perhaps if a warm white bulb were used, it would show the watches in a more natural light.

See my recent videos, I have upgraded my studio lighting. I used to use two soft boxes with 65 watt 5500K LED lights. I now use three soft boxes with 125 watt 5500K LED lights. Yes, 2700K would be warmer; but not bright enough. 5500K is colder, but is brighter; so shows the watches better in 4K. Regards, #WR4K

I love my Pagani Design PD-1692 Air King homage...except for the terrible micro-adjust and divers extension. I have no idea how to adjust the micro - adjust and you need the Jaws of Life to even attempt the divers extension.
The micro-adjust holes--if you can even call them that--are barely dimples, and you can't even access them. What was Pagani Design thinking?
I have the pagani hulk homage and I completely agree with you on the diver extension, it's so tight that I need a small screwdriver to pry it open. The micro adjusts aren't that bad as long as you have a bracelet sizing tool, but the unfortunate problem is you need to open the diver extension to access them, which in our case is a major pain in the ass given how hard it is to open the extension.
Listening to your explanation and reviews feels like I need to pay you 3,99€ per hour.🙂👌👍🍻

I dislike the image Rolex, and the Submariner now has; hence selling my 2021 one this year. I also abhor the Rolex AD waiting list nonsense. Also having drive 2 hours (108 miles) to my nearest AD to have an extra link fitted to my Submariner. With my Oyster Perpetual 41 they posted it and I fitted it myself. Now they make one present the piece at the AD. I dislike the image of wearing a social media hyped investment piece, that is flipped at profit on the grey market. When I bought my first Submariner 14060M 24 years ago, there was none of that waiting list nonsense. My feeling about the brand really changed when wearing my Hulk in 2018. I could never relax and enjoy wearing it due to it being an investment piece that was appreciating in value. So it had low feel good factor as a result. With a San Martin, or Pagani Design, one can wear the watch hard and not care about damaging it as they are inexpensive to replace; thus the feel good factor is higher. As stated in my previous SOTC reviews; I see the Submariner as a 2000 Euro watch, which isn't worth the current 14,000 Euro grey market value. The truth is I enjoy my current 6 pieces more than I did my Submariner. Regards, #WR4K

WR4K, do you know if the bracelet of the PD-1667, would fit the case of the PD-1679, correctly??? IMHO, this would create one of the best looking, and most accurate "Planet Ocean" style homages, on the market to date. An accurate bracelet version, anyway. I would very much like to try this combo, but I am no sure if the components would mesh correctly. Any advice you could offer in said area, would be much appreciated. Cheers...
I haven't tried a 1667 bracelet on a 1679; but the lug profiles are similar, so I think the end links will fit the case. The only problem could be the spring bar holes may be in a different position. Agreed, this would look excellent. Regards, #WR4K

Similar heft on the bracelet, however it looks and feels wider on wrist. On a strap it feels top heavy. On the bracelet its better balanced; but the problem is it doesn't size down to a 6" wrist. So if you have a 6-6.5" wrist it will be hard to get the right fit. Really it best fits a 7-8" wrist. Regards, #WR4K

Out of curiosity - as someone viewing your channel for first time - you have obviously owned some Rolex etc in past, and you clearly enjoy the design of the major luxury brands (Rolex, Tudor, Omega) - so why not buy the originals? Even if it means taking longer to own, or only have 2-3 of them? Is it simply a financial call? Or something more? Cheers.
I bought my first Submariner 14060M when I was 21. In the last 24 years of collecting I have owned several Submariner, and Submariner Date's. I sold my 2021 124060 this year. I dislike the Rolex AD waiting list nonsense. With my Oyster Perpetual 41 my Rolex AD posted the 2 extra bracelet links I needed. With my Submariner I had to travel 120 miles to my AD to have a link fitted as they changed their policy and no longer post links. I dislike the brand image Rolex now has, and the image the Submariner has as a social media hyped investment piece which is flipped on the grey market at profit.
When I was 19 I saved up for 2 years as a University student to afford the £2500 needed to buy a pre-owned 14060M. Back then there was no Rolex AD waiting list nonsense, and the Submariner was freely available at AD's.
I wore the watch hard the same as a low-tier piece. I didn't care about scratching it as I didn't see it as an investment that would be devalued by damage.
With my Hulk in 2018 I could never relax and enjoy wearing it as it was appreciating rapidly in value. I was conscious that any scratches to it would devalue it. I sold it after 8 months. I also disliked wearing a watch that was being hyped on social media, as it looked like I bought it as an investment, rather than buying it because I was a collector that liked the watch.
I prefer wearing homage watches as I can relax and wear them hard as per my first Submariner. They aren't investments that appreciate in value; therefore I don't worry about devaluing them with scratches.
If I damage one, I can just buy another and its posted to me within 2 weeks. No AD waiting list nonsense. They also come with enough links to fit my 8" wrist; so no need to order a link and travel 120 miles to my nearest AD to have one fitted.
I never bought a Rolex to be accepted into a Rolex fanboy fraternity, or feed my ego on my channel. I am secure and don't care what Rolex fanboys think of the watches I own.
With regards to Tudor, and Omega. I have previously owned a Black Bay, and 2500 Planet Ocean. I disliked the thickness of the Black Bay. The current Planet Ocean is too thick so I don't want one.
I get feel good factor from wearing my homage watches.
I didn't get that feel good factor from wearing my 2021 124060.

And refreshing to see someone genuinely illustrating joy in the hobby is not (or should not) be about price or even brand - but the watch itself. I’ve never much warmed to homages but not for the reason so many on YT spout on about - more because I find joy in less celebrated design languages from brands like Sinn, Oris, Seiko or Nomos. These designs are rarely homaged, or if they are (Seiko) the price differential is so insignificant as to steer me to the original creator (usually more for the ability to buy in store and have peace of mind over fit and guarantee etc). I did own a Steinhart GMT ocean 39 for a period but sold for the same reasons (straight lugs) but also the handset looked flat and cheap. Did have my eye on the Sugess Top Time homage chronograph at one point, perhaps I’ll pull the trigger and see what all the fuss is about with AliExpress.

Are you referring to San Martin, or Pagani Design guarantees? I will advise on both anyway. If you are concerned about a guarantee on San Martin watches I recommend purchasing from watchdives.com (use the "WR4K" 10 USD discount code). Reason being they cover the watch with a 3 year warranty, rather than the usual 2 year warranty from San Martin. For Pagani Design I recommend Amazon, as the purchase is covered by the Amazon A-to-z guarantee when purchasing from a third party. The problem with the Pagani Design 12 month guarantee when purchasing from an AliExpress store is one is at the mercy of the respective reseller. Some offer partial refunds, some offer full refunds, some offer no refund. The AliExpress dispute process is only valid within 15 days from the order closing. You can open a dispute on the 11th day after seller has sent out your order and within 15 days of the orders completion. The problem with that is if your watch develops a defect on the 16th day onwards you cannot claim a refund via the dispute process. In the case of a warranty return, you the buyer will pay for the return shipping to China which is non-refundable. For example you would pay circa 20 Euro for tracked return shipping on a 100 Euro piece. The negative of buying from Amazon versus AliExpress is the watches cost more. For example a 100 Euro Pagani Design on AliExpress will be 130 Euro on Amazon. However it may be worth paying the extra 30 Euro in order to have the A-to-z guarantee cover. The build quality, Quality Control, reliability; of San Martin watches are higher than Pagani Design watches. The 2 year San Martin warranty is better than the Pagani Design 12 month warranty. Same applies to purchasing a San Martin from Watchdives, or San Martin Official Store. Generally they will offer to supply the replacement part, and pay for your local watchmaker to repair. If that isn't viable, they offer a refund or replacement piece when the defective one is returned. With Pagani Design resellers they will typically offer a partial refund and you keep the defective watch. Regards, #WR4K

Have you ever noticed that in the Daytona watch the chronograph was spelled CHRON0GRAPH. I am not sure it if it's a typo that they used "0" (zero) instead of O. I wanted to pick that up but I held off because of it. Stunning watch regardless hope they'll fix that typo.

I have the PD moonwatch on the original bracelet and I have hairy arms, but no problem at all with hair catching issues. So there must be at least two different varieties of hair.... So to say that this watch needs a different bracelet is not true for everybody with hairy arms.

Don't tell people how tight they should wear their watches. Some like them tight, some like them very loose, some like them slightly loose. Some like them left of the knuckle, some like them past the knuckle. Don't try to convince people of wearing their watches how they like them to be worn.

Am I missing something here? Is this subtle trolling? The watch case. The gloves. Calling these Chinese 'homage' (aka rip-off fakes) watches 'pieces'. This isn't for real is it? I'm all for high value watches, don't get me wrong, but for the money they want for these wrist worn law suits, you could get some amazing watches from proper value manufacturers. These look like toys you'd get for kids that want to look like they're wearing daddies Rolex. The Chinese really are shameless in their copying culture.

Yes, you are missing something.
I have previously owned (from new) : Rolex Submariner, Sea Dweller, Daytona, plus various Tudor, Tag Heuer and Breitling. I have also owned a pre-owned 18ct DayDate, so I feel qualified to offer an opinion on the 'quality' and ownership experience of these brands.
Having recently sold the last of my Rolex's , the Daytona for £20k (having bought it new for £3,600) and recently discovering the world of homage watches, I can guarantee you that there is very little difference in terms of enjoyment between owning the original versus the best of the homage equivalents.
Unless you have owned both, any criticism is worthless.
I too own the PD Air King and Daytona models reviewed in this video and love them. My Cronos Sub homage is wonderful and am currently awaiting the arrival of the San Martin Datejust model.
If you only enjoy owning the 'original' versions, then fine. Enjoy. But don't criticise others who derive similar enjoyment from the homage versions. And don't assume that owners only buy them because they cannot afford the originals. I for one, will never overpay for an 'original' again. Homage watches are the future for me!
