The smell of garlic cooking in olive oil should be a perfume tbh xD
No one would like that as a perfume lol
I love the smell of shrimp cooking with garlic 😍😍😍
It would make me hungry 24/7
Just move to Italy and date some natives. If your more about the garlic then the olive oil, hunan China also works. (My wife is from hunan and when she ask me, to cut a little bit garlic she means 6-10 gloves.

I live how much Marion loves her own cooking! Her reactions always make me wanna make it.

I am an Italian who would never mess with my sauce but I saw this while I was making sauce I tried a little miso in a little sauce and couldn’t believe what it added so I added it to the pot we will see if my husband notices. I have made many of your recipes luv luv luv
How was it?
Did he notice?!
LMAO my mom's secret ingredient to everything is fish sauce. Anyone else??
😂Mine too!
@@Marionskitchen i really expected your "secret" ingredient to be fish sauce! LOL i was surprised! Can't wait to try your version of sauce!
it's essential for anything with tomatoes!
Hahaha I was going to say fish sauce is another great one! But I’m kind of kicking myself with the miso, why did I never think of that!
Fish sauce is my secret ingredient in spaghetti. Lol
I LOVE your recipes! And I must say that your voice is so calm and relaxing. You're one of my favorite UA-camrs!
Aw thank you Anna!

Can't wait to try the spaghetti
I grew up eating spaghetti my whole life and your version looks delish but I especially love the ingredients in your meatballs. Looks AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS,!!!
This is so good! It has so much Umani! Love the soy and miso sauce. I didn’t have fennel seeds so I used Italian seasoning herbs for the meatballs and it tastes as good. It’s now my go to spaghetti and meatballs recipe. Thank you Marion!
My boyfriend isn't a big fan if spaghetti with meatballs but we've made your recipe yesterday night and he loved it! 😄☺️ The meatballs were so juicy and fluffy, it was delicious! His problem always was that they're usually way too dry but your fusion pasta never disappointed us even once 😍🙏🏻
I'm an Asien who can never cook a good Italian food until I tried this recipe and it found out soooooo good. All my guests are really like it and beg me to cook this again❤ unbelievable 😆. Thanks Marion that make me like super chef😘
I am so relieved the secret ingredient wasn’t ginger. My friend’s mom puts ginger in her spaghetti. For anyone reading, please don’t do it.
draconity Sounds good actually. There can’t be to much ginger.
Ground ginger in spaghetti sauce is good, it put a little kik, but not to much and NEVER put fresh ginger please...
Wtf that shit taste bad if you put it fresh don't it
Ground beef(drain the fats first), hotdog, garlic ,minced onion, green pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, grinded cheese, sugar and salt, the type of tomato you wanna use is on you, I usually end up using the Filipino version anyway. I promise you this ingredient is delicious.
Ginger in pasta is THA BEST!
This sauce was amazing. Just made it. We do low carb, so no panko bread crumbs used but it still turned out terrific. Soooooo good.
I have figured it out, miso is always the secret ingredient! Got myself a big tub yesterday to make Marion’s miso carbonara so can’t wait to use it for this recipe too
Miso Carbonara, will have to check that out, sometimes I go to the effort of making carbonara only to be disappointed with its averageness, Miso could be the remedy but would want to get the proportions right so as to avoid it being a dominant flavour.
You delivered on the food nerdiness! Loved it
You never fail me... I made this for dinner tonight and my husband loved it !! Thank you so much 💓 😘💓😘💓
Marion, You make the ordinary into something extraordinary. Thank you!
I made this recipe exactly as shown and OMGoddess!...this is my new favorite, thank you Marion, your recipes are always divine.
Yes!!!!!! Another video💗💗💗Hope you and your family are safe and having a wonderful time on your guys new adventure!!! All my love and best wishes💗♥️🎶
Hey Marion, huge fan! Thai is my favorite cuisine but I love your fusion dishes! I grew up in an Italian-American family and your base (pre Asian spices) is spot on. One thing I adapted from Indian cooking is frying tomato paste as the first step. I heat the olive oil to a non-smoking, but hot temp and fry the tomato paste (while constantly moving in the oil) until it’s a dark brick red color. It adds an additional level of umami and color! Once it’s reached the dark brick red I add the garlic and the the whole tomatos etc per your method. I even sometimes throw a little fish sauce into my red sauce. Give the frying the tomato paste a try sometime, would love to know what you think! Can’t wait to try a hybrid of mine and finishing it off with your complete recipe! Thanks for this!
Yum! I notice you always have the most beautiful eggs. Nice orange yolks.
This recipe is amazing!
just made this recipe tonight, it was amazing (like the 10 other recipes we made in the last 2 months since we discovered Marion, we did a few over and over)
Your every cooking vids just make my mouth watering 😭😭😭 It looks really yum
What can be better than my favourite recipes with a touch of asian cuisine? You are absolutely brilliant❤️
Nobody can stop marion for cooking delicious food !! Not even lockdown 😂
😂
this looks mouthwatering, future me will try this recipe.
Just tried making this today!! It tasted soo good!! I never made a pasta sauce that was this flavorful - especially since it didn’t even get a chance yet to develop more flavor overnight!! I bet it will taste even better tomorrow!
I made your sauce today (I made meatballs yesterday, so I will try your meatball recipe next time). The sauce.... OMG - I didn't think I could improve on MY sauce but yes, must say, your sauce Marion....made in heaven!!! The anise, the chilli and bay leaf definitely gave it a unique flavour which we all loved. Love your presentation too....especially your accent...down to earth Ozzie....
Marion is taking over my quarantine must-try recipes list.
JUST finished cooking spaghetti & meatballs for dinner. What a coincidence!
Wishing you get a cable television show!! Because your recipes are super awesome!🏆
So excited to see another video and of my favorite dish!
Best spaghetti and meatballs recipe in youtube so far
I'm not really into Asiany food but I've tried some of your recipes because you make it sound so delicious when you cook it. And they are delish! I've also used your Coconut Sriracha sauce in any way I could.
Thanks so much for all your recipes!!! I try as much possible of them according to what I can find here in Lebanon and you are amazing! Your pasta recipes became a feast here and new kitchen discoveries
I love dat you incorporated Asian ingredients & herbs into your cooking 😍😍 Making full use of them add ‘magic’ touch to your recipe. I tried it today it was amazing! Thank you for sharing tis recipe ❤❤
Thank you! It’s always nice to try someone else’s version of an old favorite! can’t wait to give a go! By the way you have the prettiest hands✌️
Aw thank you!
Definitely going to try this recipe! I love your pasta recipes a lot! The shrimp one was absolutely divine.
She treats all those ingredients like her own children. I mean, she makes sure each one is well-appreciated and has its fair share of youtube limelight. 😊
The tomato past should go in before the whole tomatoes! And let it fry a pit in the oil, i brings out a different more tasteful taste to it, and takes away a bitterness that’s in it!
I wonder why she does it with her curry paste and not tomato🤔
I agree
Exactly!!!
Marion these are by far the best and most tastiest meatballs I've ever had. Oh yum!! Thank you
I cannot wait to try this recipe!! My mouth is watering!!!
I love this receipt

Thank you so much Deanna!
So true ❤️
I made this today, it was absolutely delicious. The sauce and meatballs is going to be a staple recipe for my family, everyone loved it. I did make a few happy accidents that I'll be repeating so I get the exact same results each time. Since all measurements aren't metric I did have to guess on a few. I used one can of 28oz San Marzano whole peeled tomatoes (I want more sauce next time so I will be using 2 cans and doubling the ingredients). I accidentally put 3 tbs of milk in the parmesan cheese for the meatballs when I should have put it in the panko breadcrumbs. I kept the cheese in the milk and also put the 3 tbs in my breadcrumbs too and kept it moving, turned out great anyway. Lastly, I didn't know the conversion for the ricotta so I ended up putting 3 nice-sized tbs of regular store bought ricotta and just eye-balled it to be sure it wasn't too much for the meat. I also used 2 lbs of grass-fed 90% lean beef (it's the best quality I could find at my grocer). My oven is low power so I ended up doubling the cooktime to 40min at 355 F for the meatballs until the juices ran clear and the balls were mostly cooked. GAME CHANGER: I took my mostly cooked balls out of the oven and BROWNED them in a sauce pan to get a nice color and bring out the flavors even more. I took those browned balls, the juices created, and added those to the sauce. Let them simmer in the sauce for 5-7 minutes partially covered and my my my soooo freaking delicious. Not drastic changes, but these small tweaks/accidents led to THEE most amazing sauce, meatballs and overall dish. I'm making it again this week, thank you so much Marion! I came across your channel literally 2 days ago and I'm soooo glad I did.
I made this last night and I will never make spaghetti and meatballs another way.. SO GOOD!! You the best Marion 🥰
Watching your channel always makes me hungry 😋, even if I just ate and super full 😂😂😂😂

Wow. I've seen a TON of spaghetti & meatball recipes on UA-cam but this is by far the most interesting. Great tips along the way, too! I'll definitely try this.
Really lovely ingredients in this dish Marion, can't wait to try it. Regards from Ireland 💚🇮🇪🍀
Marion my kids gave this 5 stars! Thank you so much! Yummy!!❤️😍

This dish just looks Glorious!!!🥰🥰🥰
Love your noodles recepie. 💓
I actually made meatballs the other day!! Your recipe looks amazing
Great day I tried some of your recipes, because you gave your exact ingredients it’s all so very delicious 😋 thank you so much, coz it’s help me a lot ... from japan and small business of catering... God bless you more and wish you all the very best of luck
Nobody:
Absolutely not even one person in the whole existence of the universe:
Marion: so I'm gonna add some chilli
Joking aside, LOVE your videos and how sweet and informative you are!! Thank you! :)
AHHH... then you have not tried the Malay's "Fried Chicken simmered in Spicy Tomato Gravy" / 'Ayam Masak Merah' yet then... I had some leftover tomato gravy and added some homemade baked lamb meatballs with pasta... and everyone of the world over, APPROVED! XD
My God I smell that from here in Florida...WOW...and i'm Italian...Thanks Marion...looks great...
Really into this dish! Marion knows her stuff. The added "strange" anise and miso not typically Italian add so much. Almost done making it. Whole kitchen smells like heaven. The meatballs browned so nice in the oven. The sauce is simmering slow and juicily. Putting it all together soon. Can't wait to taste the final product. Inviting friends to come over. Updates coming soon!!!! Would be nice to add photos here. Is there a way to do that, Marion?
I just tried this for dinner. The BEST spaghetti meatball I’ve made EVER.
I’m sold! Lol. I’m most definitely going to make this this weekend. It looks divine!
I will try this experimentally :) love you
Can’t wait to try! Yummmmm
Miso?? Didn’t see that coming. Will try this recipe for sure.
You have a beautiful house by the way. The view behind you is just stunning. Lovely.
Spoiler alert!
This is hands down the best meatball spaghetti I've ever tasted!
Yummm. I seriously love your channel.
That's my recipe almost to the T! Glad your using it
Just made this tonight and everything was great flavors and textures, served with garlic toast and a salad. The only thing I didn’t prefer was lemon zest in the meatballs. I believe this is personal preference for many people though. Amazing recipes Marion! We appreciate you sharing all that you do.
Oh my goodness! I'm drooling!
I am so making this!!!!
feels like you read my mind with this recipe as i've been craving spaghetti & meatballs all week!
also i'm dying to know your skincare routine 😅
Fahn pregnancy!
Marion, this is the bomb.... I can’t wait to try
looks too yummy i need one right now ❤️❤️❤️
i knew it was going to be miso! the flavour combination makes so much sense
You are a star!
The "firmer" ricotta is called ricotta insalatta as opposed to the ricotta fresca you find in your typical grocery store that is much wetter
Omg I can't wait to make this!!!
Making this for dinner 💜🤩
"Were not going for a diet meatball dish guys" 🤣🤣🤣
Love all your recipes marion!
can't wait to try this on Sunday!
I hope you love it!
Omg it's amazing! I just made it I was a little lazy and just chucked the meatballs in the sauce instead of using another saucepan. Cause you we all know she ain't doing the washing.
Absolutley decadent ! I need to try this!
The miso paste is actually a really great idea! I'de like to know which kind is being used for this recipe, since it comes in so many different variations?
I used shiro miso also known as white miso paste :-)
I don't want to try any other types of spaghetti besides my mom's but this one I seriously want to go home and cook asap!! Like, my mouth is seriously watering!
Looks amazing as usual
