Project Zomboid: Finding a Base is Fun.

- Hello one of the two people who are reading this discription, I just wanted to say I haven't been editing for a while because I didn't know how to make the content similar to my other content editing wise, Project Zomboid just isn't the kind of game for that. I will be making these videos but I'm taking a different approach because otherwise it will never be done, there may be some funi here and there depending on the event/context or some more meme edits for smaller things but these videos will be mostly like a short, quick "part #" series since that's the best format I think fits Project Zomboid, still a decent pace as to not be sitting in a house looting every container for 5 minutes but not constant action and speed with 20 meme edits per minute. The videos will probably get less views based on the audience I've built up with my previous content and I know that but although the format is different I will still try and hold it to a high standard of quality.

You can, I currently play on a server in which I'm a nomad with a friend of mine and we usually pass thru cities, trade stuff, pick up people and take em to other destinations, etc

Hey man this vid was really awesome. Love the calm nature of it. In a way, it encourages me to get passed the fear of after the power runs out XD. (Just starting) but this type of video I'm sure will gain more traction soon. Its awesome. Something like the beginning of an episode of an apocalyptic Netflix series. There is a mod for a fire station in muldraugh right across the road from the police station and it’s fantastic to base in .. my best man lived there, had skills up the wazoo, and I walked too close to a fire and died in four seconds. Literally didn’t even have time to walk to the bucket of water on the other side of the fire. I was full health too. 😭
Fire is very dangerous, I was panicking when I was in the backroom and there was a wall of fire approaching
At some point in every project zomboid game, you just live out of your car for an indefinite amount of time.

Man, I hadn't really realized how many thousands of hours I have put into Rimworld until my very soul popped up the meta data for that song like a early 2000s mp3 player.
I gave you a sub because I enjoy it. I would also like to say, long format Zomboid is good too. I think a mixture of shorts like this and a couple long videos would be good

i remember leaving it too late to do any meaningful prep on my first longterm save and the power/water cut off, didnt have a car, just max level carpentry and some other junk, did this long trudge on foot being overencumbered and dropping this 1 sack whenever i needed to do any combat, took 2 IRL hours to trudge from the residential place i was to this ranch with a well, only to realize i forgot my seeds...
I've never made it far in solo but in MP I'm always one of the most prepped players, I don't get off on the first day until I have a fortified base lol

My advice as a content creator for being able to consistantly create content: don't hold yourself to a standard, just make videos that you love. (I also understand this is way harder than it sounds in practice)

I need to make a modlist eventually, can't remember them but by the time the next PZ vid comes out all the descriptions will be updated with the modlist

I've cleared around a 1/5th of Louisville on a personal save, sadly this server had zombie respawn

This is a private server with 15 actice players at the time of the recording and yes, everything was looted. Still fun but more challenging because you either have to wait for loot respawn or trade/kill others

@@YeahItsRico discord is a good choice, know the people on the server and people are generally kinder, kill you before raiding your base instead of waiting for you to log off

Maybe, but whenever I change music or sounds I directly access the BANK files, took me 3 hours to figure that out and I rather not get into legal trouble so just look into the internet and find the program on GitHub, it's free
Just swap the OGG file with your own, and make sure the new one is renamed properly
