Crazy to know this probably will now and forever be the most popular montage on this channel.
It's one of his funniest playthroughs. My favorite part is how he changed his mind from saying the game is okay to saying it's shit, and to finally saying the game is okay if you play it once.

When he got locked in the barrier waiting for his slow death just to find out that even after losing all his health he still couldn't die and restart is wild lol

The N64 version is better. Because there is no ridiculous cutscene when you die (so there is no loading). Beside there is no cutscene at all in the game and that doesn't miss.

I love how in the beginning of the full play through he likes the game but by the end he said he hates it and thinks it’s one of the worst games he’s ever played 🤣🤣
I still think this game was innovative for trying to blend so many different aspects at once. Being a beat 'em up (using fighting game mechanics), a platformer, _and_ an adventure game all in one. We don't see a lot of games like that.
Obviously the attempt here was clunky, but I would've liked to see more games like this.

@@EyeDyeGrys I think I saw a mod for that actually. I think it was a romhack. But I distinctly saw this weird edited version of the game where you could co-op as Subzero, Scorpion, Reptile, and one of the other colored ninjas each with their own distinct movesets
But yeah, a Mortal Kombat co-op game like that would be awesome. If you take similar mechanics from the 2D Mortal Kombat games (use MK3/UMK3 as a base, where there's crazy comboing and you can aggressively rush down enemies) but instead pit players against weaker mooks and you can aid each other in your combos or just assist by using different character's moves to complement each other, that would probably be one of the most badass ideas for a co-op game of all time

I wouldn't say "negative negative reactions and reviews" N64 port was panned but still playable but the PS port was overall mixed. Cheap leap of faith deaths and spike in difficulty but at times still a playable enjoyable game.

It's nowhere near the level of Shaolin Monks because that game was phenomenal. But I really appreciate the difficulty of this game because I think it's the difficulty that gives it its replayability value.

I never in my life best this game it was just annoying.
When added up, the full playthrough vids total 3 hours. All the rage and rants compiled together is an hour long 💀💀💀💀
Yeah it would have been like a minute longer if I included the one rage part from part 5 of his playthrough.
With what he says in the 1st minutes makes me guess he wouldn't want nothing to do with the new MK stories. Considering no one ever dies in these games and to make things worse timelines are now the norm. Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if he never bothers to record the newest MK games.
I never understood why the jumps in Stage 2 were so difficult to people. It's not difficult to develop a strategy.. People are just terrible at games.
You can always excuse Gstar because at least he's funny unlike people like DSPGaming.

True, but first time playing this I can relate how difficult it was. This game is pretty much just trail and error gaming on an extreme level.
@@JustinJTime First time playing any game is trial & error. This wasn't his first time playing this game though. He'd complete levels, save, practice, & then record them.
My point is that I'm assuming he's emulating. All he'd have to do, like I did, is save state at the jumping parts & learn the pattern of when to jump. It's really that easy.
