This was incredibly helpful. My kit didn’t come with instructions and i was struggling for a good 30 minutes before thinking someone likely has a tutorial video. Lifesaver.
This was the best instructional video that I have ever experienced. I set the computer on the kitchen counter and walked through the replacement step by step. ***** Thanks for the great video: I was Googling to ensure I was ordering the correct parts that I needed from Sears. I went to your site to order and placed my order. I tried three times, with different credit cards and said, "Order cannot be processed, please call". So I called the 800 number on the website, and was on hold for over 20 minutes and never was able to speak to anyone. I gave up in frustration trying to order. I will try again next time I need an appliance part and hope I haver better luck.
Thanks for the video-tutorial on repairing this. Well done!! My only gripe is NOT with your video presentation - it's with Whirlpool directly for making a 'top level' dishwasher (and expensive) but using cheap plastic parts on the roller mechanism! I had the dishwasher for slightly over one year (of course, out of warranty now) and had not one but ALL four plastic prongs on ALL four places that hold the rollers on the rack adjuster break off! Still cannot believe that for such an important functioning part that is used daily such as those rollers would have such cheap plastic breakable prongs holding them. And to make it worse, have to buy the entire adjuster kit (two of them!) to fix the issue...... But, again, thanks for posting such an informative and well done video to at least make the repair that much easier. PS. after installing this replacement part - I noticed the roller wheels and prongs have been redesigned and are MUCH better than previous ones. Should last much longer. Again, thanks for an EXCELLENT video presentation!

Terrific video and demonstration. I had Whirlpool gold dishwasher with cheap plastic wheel axles that broke so had to buy a new adjuster kit. PERFECT! Got my new heavy duty adjuster sides delivered today. Them in a box. I tried to figure out how to disassemble, but didn't want to break anything. Like so many others, I was dealing with cheap plastic wheels on one of the adjusters on my KitchenAid dishwasher. Couldn't believe how brittle they were. I ordered the metal replacement kit from Amazon, looked at the horrible instructions, and thought I'd have to call a repairman to come fix it. Then I found your video. Outstanding. Our kit did not come with any instructions and while it was "kinda" self explanatory, the fact you folks were as detailed as you were deserves huge kudos.

This is one of the best "how to" videos I have ever watched. We were ready to buy a new dishwasher because of all the constant problems with the wheels, clips, adjuster, etc.... I seriously doubt that I would have been able to make this repair without this video. Many thanks for allowing me the opportunity to fix what was a complicated project ( if you were to read the enclosed instructions!). The step by step process was easy to understand. My main complaint is why they don't come up with a simply wheel and clip repair vs replacing the whole adjuster.I am glad we found your video. It saved us a visit by our friendly repair man!

I concur with Bob Seivert. The instructions that came with the kit were so hopeless. Just blurry black and white pictures and a set of cryptic instructions. The was not even a list of part with pictures. I had no hope of putting it together by myself till i found this video. Outstanding crystal clear instructions. Thank you so much !!!

After I jacked up the top rack and was told so by the house boss, I ordered the adjuster kit. When it got here I looked at the box of stuff and said not going to happen. found this video and amazingly simple visual explanation of how to put this adjuster together ever! Without this video I was done. Dishwasher fixed & I'm never allowed to touch it, blessing in disguise.

I would give this video 6 stars out of 5! The written directions were barely above useless. Spending 15 minutes with this video easily saved me at least half an hour (or more), not to mention the frustration it enabled me to avoid.

Wow this was amazing! My hubby isn't the handiest guy and there is no way this repair was going to happen with just the instructions in the box. I found this video and he was done from beginning to end in 15 minutes! And this was after taking 45 minutes to simply take the original pieces off.......which he wasn't able to do without the help of the video! Thank you very much, for taking the time to show us what Sears doesn’t/won’t. I will give Sears parts department a thank you for getting the kit to me safely and promptly. It’s kind of a shame that they don’t bother to include instructions. On the other hand, they included a phillips #2 to torx #15 adapter for the 4 screws. I didn’t need it, however I’m sure there are people that will. I actually did the complete repair with my Leatherman Wave & Leatherman 21 piece bit kit. Super easy, especially with the aid of this video.

I was in the same state as John below. The 2nd instruction is remove old adjusters from rack. I was already toast. Was I supposed to know intuitively how to remove them. This video was truly a lifesaver. Thanks very much!

This video saved me $110 dollars... local appliance shop quoted me $145 to fix the adjusters. I paid $35 for the parts kit online (local appliance shop wanted $70) and I used this video to complete the job in 10 minutes from opening the box to having the dishwasher rack fixed. Thanks!

The OEM plastic adjuster for my dishwasher was broken (merely four months after purchase, so it was under warranty), and they sent me an adjuster kit that is slightly different kit than this one for a different dishwasher (#W10712395 - off by one number). When I searched for that part number, I got this video, but there was only a minor cosmetic difference in the roller and in how I remove the end cap clips. I followed the video, and the instructions were perfect. This is six years later, but the video is still perfect! Thanks, Matt!
P.S. It is frustrating to see that, after six years, Whirlpool is still using all-plastic adjusters and only providing the metal parts as a factory replacement!

I was about to send the parts back because they looked nothing like what I was replacing and there was no instructions. After one more attempt I had the parts where they were supposed to fit together, but was a frustrated mess trying to get the assembly functional on the upper wash rack. Thanks!!! Hari and Bob are correct. The instructions that came with the parts were useless. I stopped at the first one ... "remove the old parts." Okay, how??? Break them? That's what I would have ended up doing because I couldn't figure it out on my own. And what was the small screw-like tool that literally fell out of the box? No instructions. Finally figured it out. This video was great. I am totally appreciative of the effort that went into it. Although I had to pause and rewind it a few times to make sure I understood, it was professional and easy for a first timer. Saved me time, and my family seeing my frustration.
