Hi 🖐 New Sub here from the U.S.A. Very good video. The Chicken and Bacon dish you made looked really good. I look forward to seeing more videos from you. Take care 👍.
Hi there! Thanks for watching our journey - yes that dish was awesome, so much so that we've made it a few times since making the video. Thanks again for watching!
LOL! That is now a staple here on the Homestead! We picked up the stove second hand in Wellington and we paid around R5k. The stainless steel flu and extraction cost way more than that 😩 But we use it often and bake and cook to our hearts content! Well worth the investment.
Thanks for your recipe. Enjoy cooking on your stove
Oh I love those stoves. The food came out beautifully.
Thanks so much!
Great recipe and great stove. You can never go wrong. We have a wood stove back in our lives now for more than 10 years.
Fantastic! We love cooking/baking in this old lady. Must have for us!

I would love this kind of stove.
We love our stove - especially in Winter!
Hi New sub here from Joburg! Love your content. Thank you!
Awesome! Thanks for watching. We're from Joburg as well...but were so glad we left 😊
Watching with interest from Durbs
Excellent! New video just loaded on Sunday night. Thanks for watching!
If you do come accross any homesteads for sale in the overberg it might make for good content for those of us who want a plan b in the Cape.
Hi Evan, hmmmm, that sounds like a good idea - we'll keep our eyes open!
Super looking spot. I just noticed you have no air bricks above the windows......won't you get sweating on the walls
Oh absolutely - Elsa mentioned this just the other day - and yes, we are getting a major amount of sweating on the walls! It's terrible.
Oh my goodness so hungry now , how much was the stove ?
