This is a 100 Mhz oscilliscope - in general you should not measure anything with a frequency greater than 20 MHz (your o-scope bandwidth should be 5 times greater than the highest frequency you will measure).

Hi I think the place to start is what you don't do to destroy your scope. Like using an isolation transformer . Even working with USB can be dangerous. If it's plugged into mains
Power . Alot of people will go hmm what's my house voltage is powww fried scope.
