I tripped over this when searching for Stones cover pieces. Holy moly, this is really good stuff. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I wish I would have been in Meggen at the right time...
@@richardbunting1031 Van Zandt's single "Dead Flowers" dates from 1993. The Stones recorded it in 1971 on their album "Sticky Fingers" . I believe you are mistaken about the original composer/authors.
@@chadwellnolan433 i‘m afraid you‘re wrong. It‘s been written by Jagger/Richards for „Sticky Fingers“ 1971. Townes Van Zandt included a version of the song on his album of live covers.
There’s nothing wrong with having cheat sheets when you’re performing and if you were observant you would have noticed he wasn’t reading the music. I’ve been a Stones fan since the 1960’s and thought they sounded pretty damned good. You want to be constructive then that’s cool, but be respectful
@@gongfingerBite it. Know the music or get off the stage. "Cheat Sheets" are just a way to say; I don't really know the song well enough to put the HEART into it! Pathetic Clown
Song list should be on floor or guitar. Lyrics, if you don't know the song just have a karaoke machine and call it quits. Or possible just do a book reading!@@BraveheartOBM
Great drummer!
Very good....
Good work guys!

Thank you, maybe next time 🙂
The Stones covered this song, written by Townes Van Zandt. I do wish this lot hadn’t.

Well done gentlemen! Jack Flash approved.
This song is a Townes Van Vandt song. Not a RS song.

@@heinz4453 really? I wrongly assumed it was Van Zandt's. Thank you for correcting me.

Are you an orchestra? I noticed the "Music Stand"? If you don't know the song, don't play it. No emotion!
