For me personally I like to place a couple of electrical lamps in key locations in my base, then paint them tangerine; gives the place enough light without being overpowering and makes the base feel very warm.
Tbh, I usually play with structure damage off because I love building nice looking houses instead of useful ones. My favorite combination is wood, stone and thatch (for roofs and stable floors).
I’m a pvp player and I like to add pve aspects to my bases, for example I’ve got a base in snow north and past the defense I want to add a touch of pve. Could you make some videos of stuff that could apply with pvp too?
As far as I recall, no. There's a sort of exclusion zone around people's buildings where players that aren't in the tribe cannot place building pieces in that area
@@Lit_Hot_takes Depends which game mode you wanna play. If you want to play PvE you can have creations that are a bit more interesting. If you're playing PVP, your best bet is a giant metal box
Why the hell the greenshouse windows are better from normal ones?? I used normal and they look ... they don't actually look - they are so transparent they are invisible! Only adding S+ changes situation a little - you can adjust transparency or make them opaque... Who the hell has figured it out that we are forced to use greenhouse windows??

Wood, Stone and Thatch is the best combo imo
@@Eradicati0nn It is! It makes things super comfy. I also love using glass walls instead of the small windows/window frames.
@@gaolbreak1090 Yeah it does! its the little things in the design that make the build better overall
Omg, I finally found someone that also builds things that are only supposed to look nice instead of being useful 😂
Tysm I’m new to ark and now I’m loving it already
Same some what I have own it for a year or 2 but just now getting in to it
Meanwhile in the background of the building: *fighting dinosaurs*
Really like these tips. Small but so sleep
I try to build something other than a box but to me it always will look ugly
This video was worth it just for the greenhouse windows
Reminds me of the Skyrim own house with complete rooms

Maybe have a metal base but us the double wall trick and have the outer wall metal and the inner wall wood (it also adds more protection)
I'm afraid I actually haven't played or made Ark content in a really long time now, I wouldn't know whats meta and whats not PvP wise
For lighting I like to throw light pets in certain spots
Awesome video! My house looks way better now! Thx
Found this video very helpfull as a beginner builder:)
One of the best tips is playin minecraft for 10 years
