Thats crazy man. Yeah I think people should build on uneven terrain because while it is more complicated and resource costly. Im confident to say every map has way more uneven terrain than flat land (which IK falls to the devs but we all know how they are and were all completely fine with it). Theres so much land that just doesnt get used and I think needing such perfectly flat land which on populated any type of servers is extremely rare and takes hours to find throws away so much of the map in a sense. With any structure. Have in mind that some structures have a smaller hit box than others. Thatch, wood and greenhouse structures have a "shorter" side which is useful for some situations. While building my spiral, sometimes fence foundations fell on the ceiling above the one I wanted to float. Changing the tek ceiling to thatch solved the issue. Then back to tek after the fence foundation float.
It's too uneven. Can use whatever method to drop a foundation lower. I'd prolly use 2 catwalks snapped to the last foundation, pillars to every catwalk, pillars down and make sure to snap a foundation next to the last foundation. Then the fence foundation trick if it's not too high. Remember, that's just one of the tricks you cn use. You can still use the normal pillar ways of building or a row of fence foundations.
this what i think ark 2 should fix they should add somthing to make the ground level so that you can build a good bsae without doing things the foundations and pillars
Meanwhile on mobile absolutely every structure more then two blocks away from a foundation needs a pillar PER BLOCK for every single structure that tries to be three blocks away from the main building 💀

video of the structure minute 4:51 pleaseee:(
Meanwhile on mobile absolutely every structure more then two blocks away from a foundation needs a pillar PER BLOCK for every single structure that tries to be three blocks away from the main building 💀
It's not flat though, the roof is raised just barely above the foundation
Use the green gun to check the height of both
@SefiroUltima playing on a public server
after 3 hours and this video i still have no home hanging over a cliff😢😢😢
I tried it and looked at it multiple times to see if I did it correctly and it didn’t work:(
Were you trying in ASE or ASA?
ASE
just add a ceiling tile, then snap foundation under it
That only works in flat terrain unless youre using mods. Youre not snapping to the ceiling either. Youre snapping to the previous foundation.
How do you enable clip?
Its a setting in your single player settings menu.
Doesn't work on official xbox
If your still on ark could u help me out on a build please I have a pretty unique spot I don't want to just build a box please help me
talk to fast and move forward to fast. are you saying using the foundation makes the ceiling snap to same height as the foundation instead of clipping unevenly with it?
Ssssloooooowww iiiiiiit dooooooowwwwwnnnnnn!
@@SefiroUltima thats what I said. SLOW DOWN BUD! me slowing down the video doesnt make fast speech clearer. AND IM SIGHT IMPAIRED not hearing impaired. so what you say IS helpful.
Great!!!
Why is this not working right for me!? lol
Thank youu
2 fast for me :) haha but thx for sharing!
Wild card can't understand the concept of stacking foundations like Conan
It kinda sucks cause stacking foundations makes everything easier, faster and you can use foundations as a design element. But in all honesty, I like having to figure foundation support and connecting foundations with other structures.
I still dont get it :(
That's what she said! 😬. You still playing ASE? Wondering weather I should get back at this subject.
Uhhh this work in mobile?
I dunno tbh.
