Hi. I’ve just come across your channel and watched 2 videos so far. The first was how you got started and the numbers you needed to get monetised and now this beautiful dog walk.
I’ve just given up a business that I’ve fallen out of love with (hated it for a few years) I’m a dog groomer also and love that although it doesn’t pay the bills but decided if I don’t stop the other business I’ll never find anything else.
You’ve inspired me to look more closely at making videos, even though I’m not good at tech stuff I’ll do what you did and learn. Thank you 🙏🏻

Lovely area. I live northcoast BC, it is much the same. As it's spring we have to watch for wildlife, grizzlies, black bears, and more often lately Cougars....
What a beautiful area! And what a nice, even maintained trail. I walk my 4 little dogs every day, but I have to walk 2, then 2. They get me outside and moving every day.

Was looking for analytics, as it’s been awhile. What happened to Office Jen? Who films you on these walks through nature? I know other UA-camrs have a relative filming them. Might be a helpful tidbit for those looking g to start a channel. Just beautiful scenery!!
I stopped analytics on Sundays when the channel got monetized. But they’ll be back next week with how much UA-cam paid me for March! I film everything myself on the walks which entails a lot of back-and-forthing and editing for me, but it’s enjoyable planning and setting up the shots!
@@silverandsolo Wow , that is lots of work on the video all by yourself. You add to your 10.000 steps staging it, but the nature walks are so beautiful and certainly meditative. It’s nice to mix in the advice-chats with your beautiful homeland.
Sky is a cool dog. My Mazi is a malshipoo. Similar to Sky but smaller. They are so wonderful. Such a nice video. You are super cool too!!

When you sat against that log I remembered how I used to look for a log to sit on when my husband and I would go fishing. We sat on the bank of the Mississippi and I loved hearing the waves lap the bank and see the big boats with lots of barges go by. But mostly I loved hearing the birds and seeing the fish jump up out of the water. I liked the breeze on my face. I miss those times. My feet don’t let me walk like I used to so I really enjoy watching you and Skye. The music was so gentle and relaxing. By the way I liked the Bird art too. Thanks!

Nope, never had a mid-life crisis....well, not yet! I've loved every minute of growing older and wiser and having more freedom of both thought and action!

It's so nice there! How did you find such a spot? I'm in Manitoba and have been thinking about moving to Vancouver Island. Any tips or info would be great!
I found my spot by sheer luck, but Vancouver Island is my kind of paradise. It's a little pricier than the mainland, and fewer places for a little retail therapy, but the pros (in my opinion) outweigh the cons! North island gets snow and is a little more rustic, but Campbell River is a wonderful spot, I have cousins living there. Tofino and Ucluelet and Port Alberni on the west coast are all fairly isolated, but tight-knit and vibrant communities. Nanaimo and Victoria are the largest cities on the island and are further south. I'm in a little community in the South and just love it!

I do have a question about the over the shoulder pack that you are wearing can you show it better or explain where you got it? I have a waist pack but I sure would like to get something different
It's a packable cross-body purse from MEC (Mountain Equipment Coop) (it's an outdoor store like REI in the U.S.) Sadly they don't have them anymore, but I love mine since it's soooooo light and I can ball it up in my hand if I need to!

I've visited Anacortes several times...my US family celebrates July 4 at Roche Harbor! Lovely little island!
It’s a small world. I live on the north end of Whidbey Island now, just 20 minutes from Anacortes, grew up summering at my grandparents place on San Juan Island and spent 10 years living in BC. We are all neighbors 😎

@@silverandsolo I also live alone on Vancouver Island! I took a walk today and was going to go down to the ocean but the walk would take me through bush. Alas, this is the one problem with being a single female. Even in a park (or especially) I don't feel safe walking in a forested area alone. I was disappointed, and turned back. I can access the ocean via more populated areas. It's a pity because the forested route looked nice. I live in a condo and not allowed dogs.
