Im Irish and the caller is 100% right, we have a serious problem in Ireland and because people speak up they are called "far right". The presenter is clearly a very privileged young man who is so out of touch with everyday life that he shouldn't be arguing with callers on this topic. His superior attitude and disdain for Helen proves that the class system is very much alive and kicking! Go to any city in the Uk and it’s like going to a foreign land.
It's not just the cities. In a little village about an hour from me, is a disused army barracks. Its full of 'refugees' . Alot of the villagers are afraid to go to their local pub at night as some have been approached and threatened for their money or other belongs. Others have had people standing outside their house and causing them to worry as they go to bed

I would expect the majority of Nigerians, Somalians, Chinese and Afghanis to share the same view of their countries and peoples.
one thing about the Chinese in UK. They are almost invisible. I don't think they like us, but I've never seen one enter a benefits office. I reside in another country in Europe, with the same problems, and I would express it differently:
"We have lost the country to another culture".
We are less and less a traditional European Christian culture.
That change has been brought into our societies because we have allowed hostile foreign cultures to settle here. Period.

So its not that individuals here may be of different etnicities, nor "foreigner", that is desisive - but what culture they live according to, and possibly promote! My foreign born, immigrant wife, is in many respects more traditional "national" here, than me...

She didn’t argue her point very well. If she had done her homework she would have had that presenter in her pocket. You may throw your hands up at her, but she is one of the increasing number of people that know something is wrong. And it’s not the fault of the illegal or legal visitors. It’s all on past government policy. Civil unrest is brewing across Europe because of it.
A majority of people in this country are utterly disgusted by the amount of immigration. But they also know that under our political system there’s no chance of ever changing things. And it’s too late anyway. Luckily those of us with houses can watch the huge numbers make us wealthier without working so we don’t really mind it.
LBC regularly have people on who (if not muted or patronised) have little time or maybe cannot articulate their arguments. They are up against individuals who use words for a living but the condescending air always prevails with little thought for the inexperienced, nervous caller.

She see nothing dumb, l have work with them she say . I was in hospital A&E with relative yesterday,it was full of immigrant and the hospital would not function without.
Too many people are coming in, it's not about race or where they were born. It is a numbers game. Successive governments have failed to invest in housing and infrastructure. Which has put immense pressure on the average household. Which makes us look for the culprit. It's not just excessive immigration it is our weak government and politicians. Poorly managed and unregulated banking sector. Our totally backwards tax system. We need a big change.
