Hate to be a stickler for the rules but the challenge is to turn £1 into loads of money. You joining a bank and donating blood is the same as just making money regardless of the £1? Simon doing a cleaning job is also technically against the rules too. Maybe the series should just be called ‘Make as much money as possible and get £1 spending money at the start!’
Blood donation I don't think counts as flipping 1 pound into more since you're basically selling something you already own. It's like me doing a challenge how much I can turn 1 pound into and then selling my car .
