"To turn the system on, press the off button." LOL
Is that a quiz?
To turn the system on... press the off button! 0:23
Bmwryder I was thinking the same thing!
Considering the GX doesn't have great approach or break over angles (ground clearance) they definitely should have 4 corner air suspension standard! 8.1 inches of ground clearance isn't good enough for a vehicle this capable!!!
I cannot see the point of only raising the rear!
What about the FRONT?
Did they run out of money or something?
Leveling the suspension when pulling a trailer.
@@DouglasMiller911 wrong, doesnt work pass 18mph
Usually, departure angle is worst than the atack angle, so make sense to make the back (departure) a little taller to match the atack angle.
Anyway the air suspension on the back, even in normal mode, make the heigth standar (aka the same) independent of the load carried.
It’s great for dropping and picking up trailers. Whole lot less cranking if you do it right.
I want to tow, raise
The rear to maintain the level, it’ll defective +18mph? Which means air goes down and sag?
When the vehicle is raising my vehicle, the sound it makes is top loud. How can i stop this sound and even maje the vehicle to maintain a particular height without adjustment even when the speed is high?
Any way to override the speed limit?
So would this make this SUV ride quality smoother?
I don't have the air suspension and its very smooth already.
It only allows adjustment outside of its neutral state up until 18 mph. Above that, it reverts to standard height. It is unlikely to impact ride quality as that is not what it's meant for.
does this work for 2004 GX470?
Some 1st gen gx's did have the same air suspension. But at that age I would be concerned about reliability issues
Suppose the height control light is lighting unstably
Am asking
Get it checked by your local lexus/ toyota dealer or authorized mechanic.
I dont get how it would help if its just the rear
more suspension articulation
18 or 80 mph ?
18 (eighteen)
18 mph. I have the 2007 GX 470, it says in the manual low mode under 7 mph, high mode under 19 mph, normal mode 19 mph or above.
