"Scourge" is a Star Wars Legends novel written by Jeff Grubb which is a novelization of the Star Wars Roleplaying Game, Tempest Feud, from Wizards of the Coast. It was originally published in paperback in 2012. During the novel's development, working titles included "Huttstorm" and "A Rage of Hutts".
The story takes place following the events portrayed in "Vision of the Future", the second volume of the "Hand of Thrawn Duology".
This is a Junior Archivist release and will be released chapter by chapter over the next month.
Story Summary:
In the heart of crime-ridden Hutt Space, a Jedi Scholar searches for justice. To do so, the unlikely hero, Mander Zuma, must find himself and his place within the Force to successfully harness his innate power and succeed in his mission.
While trying to obtain the coordinates of a secretive, peril-packed, but potentially beneficial trade route, a novice Jedi is killed-and the motive for his murder remains shrouded in mystery. Now his former Master, Jedi Archivist Mander Zuma, wants answers, even as he fights to erase doubts about his own abilities as a Jedi. What Mander gets is immersion into the perilous underworld of the Hutts as he struggles to stay one step ahead in a game of smugglers, killers, and crime lords bent on total control.
