- This is the Pit Viper made by Taran Tactical. As you know, I'm a huge collector of John Wick guns and accessories so when the opportunity to buy this came up, I jumped on it. Hope you enjoy the video.

$6000 -$7000 yea that’s a hard no. A custom platypus at most runs about $2000. Staccato are around the same ballpark for the exact same thing.

Hard to believe it's not a crime to charge so much. As nice as it is, there's nothing that can justify that kind of price. It's extortion.

2011 is a model name started by STI, double stack 1911's were around for 30 years or more before this "2011" shit happened, this is nothing more than a variation on a 1911 race gun like the ones they've been building since the late 80's....

This is my favourite pistol (closest is a korth prs or nighthawk custom). It's just so well designed, made and it just looks great.
Edit: for all of the smart individuals in my replies no I didn't learn about this gun from John Wick, I only watched John Wick like a year after it came out and knew about this gun before then because I saw it on tarans website. Yes John Wick popularised the gun, yes it isn't the best gun, yes John Wick made me like the gun more because I enjoyed the movie, no I wouldn't buy this gun even if I had the money but yes it is an awesome gun and pop culture has made it cooler, same reason the Walther ppk is deemed as a cool gun to some people (James bond). An atlas, nighthawk or any other fancy 2011 will probably perform better than this gun but it's still my favourite pistol because of aesthetic, pop culture and shootability, a staccato which is a third of the price almost is probably better to be honest but this is still cooler imo. Go get a life, I can like what I want.

I just can't justify dropping $10,000 on a pistol (or any gun really)... but it is gorgeous. I actually have the HK 930L he carries in the first movie and it's actually my favorite gun. Feels so good, even in larger hands. Never jammed on me once.
P30l is one of the best guns I’ve ever owned. Pretty stiff DA trigger but the SA pull is gorgeous

That's how all Taran Guns are. They're for gun hipsters and hype beasts. The 2011 world is full of a lot of uneducated people. Most guys think that the entry level stacattos are gucci... They aren't, they are the bare minimum acceptable in terms of fit/finish and reliability.
If you go any cheaper than a stacatto c or p, you get into springfield or bul armory territory. Stacattos and TTI's are just race glocks with 1911 triggers.
You don't get into GUCCI shit until you drop the coin on an XC or get into the nighthawks or atlas guns

@@brandonUwanawich954 I carry a C2 every day lol. Sure, they shoot good for 2k, but they really don’t compare to a Chambers, STI, Infinity, Atlas or a Nighthawk. Real, true custom 2011 with all hand fitted parts.

"Your front sight doesn't move" shows slow-mo of muzzle jump.
Because the green fiber optic isn't attached to the slide. It stays in place. With "regular' pisols the sight is fixed on the slide, so when you shoot the sight moves with the slide. This pistol doesn't have that making it easier to stay focused on the target.

A g45 with a radiant ramjet shoots just as flat maybe even a little flatter with a full size light
Lmao at the camera stabilisation for the recoil shots, especially on a gun that keanu reeves rapid fired one handed with barely 5mm rise (and im not talking about in the films, but in the BTS training sessions)
Also only shoots certain ammo, and being so undersprung for the "everyman" tends to crap up pretty quickly. It's a great gun, but people need to understand it's for comp, not edc

Just bought a walther PDP PRO 4.6” in black. 3 18rd mags, trigger from John Wick 3 (lol..just joking), multiple backstraps, flared magwell…shoots 1” at 25ft..$649. Rented a Stacato full size and did a range comparison. Stacato is a boss, Taran stuff is boss..but I could buy a belt fed for that price

At that price I feel like that is hard to recommend. For the same price you could get a great handgun, a Daniel defense m4v7, ruger precision, and a shotgun. Plus some bells a whistles for them all

You shot what theee rounds? Ammo must be tough to find but a $7000 pistol is easy enough. So look up Base Camp Salmon in Idaho, bulk ammo source with reliable ammo. Might put you out about 250-300 some dollars, but you get a out 250 or more rounds prices pending. Im mean really these look its shiny and a few casual shots is irritating. If I test a new gun its getting at least 50-100 shots.
