Beauties, I have some beauty secrets to share from my skin care routine. I might as well put my pharmacy schooling to good use for you on how get naturally glowing and moisturized skin! I have been using this routine for over 5 months and it helped my acne, and minimized my pores.
This video starts with my favorite hydrosol, orange blossom water. The water and neroli essential oil is extracted from the flowers of bitter orange tree. It is used for making desserts, medicine, fragrance, and cosmetics. It is known as a great skin tonic! I think it needs to be raved more in the beauty community compared to other hydrosols like rosewater. I never likes rose water for its strong scent, and not hydrating my skin enough. It's also expensive when you can make it for so less!
As a facial toner for $5, I use it twice a day on clean skin before I apply my serum and moisturizer. The toner removes makeup residue, refine enlarge pores, sooth acne, reduce oil secretion, exfoliates, and gives my complexion a hydrated with a healthy glow. This toner does not contain chemicals or alcohol like many store brands and its better for your skin in the long term.
I use orange blossom water in many of my skin care recipes so try out my refreshing setting makeup spray after toning and applying makeup. It cost me about $35 that can make a 6-month supply and probably more. If you accidently powdered or caked on too much makeup, a setting spray will help bind to the skin for a natural dewy finish. Its also gives makeup more staying powder for less touch ups throughout the day.
    Enjoy!

Personally, I have eczema so it does not irritate my skin. Make sure it is pure orange blossom water that does not contain alcohol. I know store brand cosmetic products sell witch hazel and other hydrosols as a toner with alcohol. From a pharmacy major stand point, it is great for all skin type. It has anti-inflammatory properties & great for oily skin without drying out. Also, acidity helps exfoliate the skin that fades hyper-pigmentation like acne marks. Thank you for your feedback.

Yes, you can use any brand of vitamin e oil. Just makes sure to read the ingredient just in case it is not in combination with other ingredients.

I mentioned in the video and suggested a few places in the info box. Orange blossom is used in making desserts so I got mine from Wholefoods for under $4. There are a variety of orange blossom water by size and if its organic that fluctuated the cost.

Thank you and I did know that for tummy aches and its pretty safe to consume for everyone. That is a bonus in my book =) I love eating it in desserts.

Orange blossom water:) I have dry and oily skin so this works amazing and you will feel how soft and hydrated your skin feels instantly. I know rosewater supposedly helps with dry skin but I personally think it dries me after using it.

I use a self tanner so no foundation but a lot of moisturizer in most of the video;) I did apply concealer to brighten my under eyes as a demo and use a setting and bronzer powder just for a scenario with a cake face disappearing from using setting spray.. You can watch the rest of my SkinMe series when I was not tan with my bare face.... Same without the hint of color:)

You're so crafty and creative! I love love love what you do and how you think up new things! I have been wanting to make a setting spray for a while now, considering that they use many things we can find here to make those sprays, which cost a fortune! Thank you soooo much GF! keep up the great amazing work!

glycerin in concentration more than 10% is actually drying your skin because it is "sucking" water from YOUR skin... So I prefer to make it with 1 part of glycerin and 9 parts of water (rose water, orange water, rose water or just normal destilled water) And I am adding few drops of lavender oil because it smells so good and calming and lavender oil is great for skin ! :)

I get it done at the salon by my hairstylist. We pretty much experiment with my coloring every 2 months so ask for bayalage highlights and pick an ash blonde base that you like =) The Salon should have a hair color chart or show a picture of a hairstyle and color you like.

Its also good as a toner as I found a review of orange blossom water in Amazon. Its a briliant idea as one of the ingredients for a setting spray. I will opt for aloe vera instead of glycerine and a few drops of vitamin E oil. Thanks for sharing.

Gonna try this! Thanks Lisa, you have the most amzaing DIY'S! When I got married, I made homemade soaps for my favors. Of course, I was inspired by your DIY. I made it so personal and really took time to think about designs and scents. My guest, was so amaze and my in-laws were so surprised! Haha. They didn't think I'm a kind of gal who would spend days to make personal favors. Anyway, just want to share that because I'm really a fan of yours. Thank you very much for sharing your ideas. :)
