As a flight attendant who is in full makeup for 10 plus hours on overnight flights Urban Decay all-nighter is the best setting spray I have ever used. From an oily-skinned woman THANK YOU! Now I can stop wondering why setting spray doesn't work for me and just use my beloved Laura Mercier powder by itself. Also, I love touching-up with a pretty compact. It feels glamorous.
I always used to feel self-conscious touching up in public. Forever going to remember Wayne’s comments and channel old Hollywood vibes from here on out. ❤️
I grew up in the nineties, and I remember girls touching up their powder and lipstick in classes and the bathroom. Back then, it was usually a Covergirl powder compact. 😆
I’ve got a old compact from the 40’s that belonged to my mom. The mirror is starting to loosen and there’s a bit of a chip along the side. I’m not sure if it’s brass or copper but the mother horse and her pony have faded. The name inside of the cover that protects the powder is “Pilcher”.
I recently learned from another UA-cam makeup video, one hack with setting spray that has worked pretty well for me. After applying concealer to under eye, spay a tiny amount of setting spray on your hand. Take a finger, dip in spray and pat the under eye area until dry. They recommend a tiny amount of powder over the top to finish, but if I powder before putting on my base layer, I’ve found the extra powder is too much. Doing this hack has significantly decreased the amount of creasing I get in my laugh lines or under eye. It’s the only thing I use the setting spray for.... I LOVE Wayne’s recommendation for powdering after moisturizer. It’s a TOTAL GAME CHANGER!
I have very oily skin. Pro: I look younger than I am. Con: Makeup melts right off of me, no matter what I do. After years of experimenting, I now stick with mascara, eyeliner, brow color, lipstick, and a bit of powder to combat shine.
I can't even wear eyeliner and/or Kohl. Makes me look like a raccoon after 3 to 4 hrs. I just wear powder , a bit of concealer (if I have acne spots) , a vibrant lipstick to suffice any lack of eye make up.
@@Some_guy_passing_by I do recommend waterproof eyeliners from essence, the ones that come in a plastic tube. Pack some powder on top/your lids and you're good for several hours. It's all I use. ❤

@@PRINCESS2527any and all powder unfortunaly is a disaster when my skin is really dry (in winter). So for me personally the answer is probably no... :(
As an oily person, I never expect any product to make my makeup last all day. I judge a product on how few times I have to blot during the day. Powder and the UD All Nighter setting spray work for me.
Do you have a favorite powder? When I was younger (in my 20s/30s) I was really into those oil-absorbing/blotting sheets. It seemed like magic how they'd mattify my oily skin but somehow left my makeup intact. But now that I'm allllllmost 50 I feel like a quick blot of powder just looks and feels better.
My oily skin disappeared once I stopped washing my face with harsh soaps, and only wash my face once a day, and started moisturizing more. Especially when I started using almond oil to remove my makeup before I washed it off. It’s been a wonderful routine for the last few years. My makeup sets and holds better than it ever has. This won’t work for everyone, but it definitely helped me.
I’m in my 60s with somewhat dry skin, and before I knew setting sprays even existed I used to finish my makeup with a spritz of rose water to take away the dry powdery look (I like powder as foundation. It’s just easier). But now, I use NYX Dewy Finish setting spray (drug store, under $10) and it works great for me. I actually receive the occasional compliment on my complexion even though I’m old. I think it’s that dewy finish setting spray, lol! It isn’t shiny on me either, just a little more dewy. I can see your point about setting sprays not working as well for oily skin, however. But as you age you might be glad to have oily skin. Mine used to be “normal” but it dries out as you age. Off topic but yesterday, I tried one of Wayne’s tips from years ago: I used powder on moisturized skin first, and then a few drops of liquid foundation over it. Like, hardly any liquid foundation at all. You don’t need as much if you apply powder first. What a revelation! It blended so well and seamlessly. I can see that skin needs to be exfoliated beforehand. I will definitely use that tip for times I want to wear liquid foundation. I wear relatively very little makeup. I don’t have a clue about contouring and highlighting and eye makeup and false lashes (mine would end up on my eyebrows probably, lord help us). But a nice even complexion with a slightly dewy finish works well for me every day. And that tip is AMAZING.
Wayne, the no bullshit, no ego, no campy wankery, and all time make up master. As always, spot on. Myth and product busting, no nonsense pro. Love you.
The thing you forgot to mention is that you must blot the oil away before applying the powder so you don't get a cakey mess. That step is very important throughout the day.
I actually substituted blotting paper with Beauty blender Powder pocket puff. I don't use extra powder for it only at the end of my working day if I'm planning to be out for a while.
Beautyblender has an oil blotting puff now. I mostly use it during hot flashes for sweat not oil but it seems like it should work well as a blotter. And it comes in a mirrored compact which is awesome because I like having a compact to pull out anywhere that doesn't have makeup in it.
Powder touch ups throughout the day to apply an SPF-infused powder every 2-3 hours seems like the best way to go, both to make sure we protect our skin by reapplying SPF and also to keep makeup looking fresh!
Wayne, you are fab. You never say anything derogatory about any other You Tubers, your videos are precise and to the point, you don’t sell out. You are an honest, old school gentleman. Thank you!!! ❤️🙂
It's so true. I'm nodding my head like crazy through this video. I'm a make-up artist a long time and I do use setting sprays but not on everyone. I personally am extremely oily and setting sprays help a little to extend my make-up by maybe another hour or two at most but ultimately the oil wins and will break down my make-up throughout the day unless I blot off the oil and touch-up and re-powder. It is what it is. I tell oily clients this too...you cannot stop the oil. You can slow it down a bit with good skin prep and the right base products but pack that compact...you'll need it. He just does the best most honest video's, thanks you Wayne!
I have never said these words before, but in all sincerity, God bless you Wayne for your honesty and integrity. Cosmetics shopping has never been more difficult. Between “influencers” raving about the next holy grail item, multiple filters used to film everything and the company’s posting BS, lies on every package of every product they sell, it’s impossible to know what will actually work for your specific needs...unless you have a PHD in chemistry. I wholeheartedly appreciate you and everything you do Wayne. Thank you ❤️ from Shannon in Canada 🇨🇦
I’ve been subscribed to you for years but I took a break from watching UA-cam because of how annoying so many “beauty influencers” have gotten. Wether it’s drama, repeated and no effort makeup vids or showing off their glamorous life instead of giving informative makeup content but coming back to watching UA-cam and seeing this video gives me so much joy! You gave so much info and facts, got straight to the point but not boring. Ugh, your content is GOLD!!!❤️ I’m so glad you’re still on UA-cam being you🥺
Personally, I use my setting spray to make my eyelashes stay up. Right before I curl my lashes y apply like 3 sprays to my entire face and after it dries I curl my lashes and they stay up until I wash my face (without mascara)
I’m 47 and have always carried my compact and a lipstick at minimum in my purse. Two of those “never leave home without it” items!! I never thought of it as glamorous, but thanks to Wayne, now I feel fancy ❤️☺️
Kind of same.xD Though I only carry a lipstick or two these days, applying more powder would be disastrous for my very dry skin. But the lipstick I've always just thought I'm too disorganized, always running late, so I need to apply it on the go. Have to say I've become quite good at applying lipstick in a bus or a train with using my phone as a "mirror". And then it's just really practical to carry those to be able to reapply.
Me too - I carry lipstick & powder. Used to just be the lipstick I was wearing that day - but now most of my lipsticks are in there - I carry a fairly big makeup purse. That means I can apply it at work or downstairs at home before rushing out the door. 🙂
My mom got me the loveliest compact mirror for my bag, with this gorgeous enamel and semi precious stone cover. I feel like a silent film star when I use it, so thank you so much Wayne for giving a veracity to my channeling!!
I always wanted one. I don't know why I never bought myself one! I'll have to look for one. I did buy a YSL lipstick... beautiful packaging. (Nice lipstick too!)
What struck me about what you said is how the setting sprays break down makeup and how so many influencers say it "melts my makeup together." They probably thought that was a good way of explaining that it blends it together seamlessly when it actually WAS melting their makeup together.
As a restaurant server with combo skin applying my UD setting spray makes my makeup look fresh throughout the entire shift. Before discovering setting spray halfway through my shift on occasion I would look like a hot mess. Between the eye makeup running raccoon eyes or my Foundation separating and my own oil coming through. It has saved my face.
Urban Decay Allnighter is the best for me, I wanted to try CT Airbrush Flawless and it is not as good (it does smell divine). As soon as I finish it, I am going back to the Allnighter.
Loving the elegance of a woman powdering her face makes me feel that you're an "old soul" in your youth, Wayne, an elegant, old soul gentleman! 😊 Had to laugh out loud at "pisser" 🤣 Love it! 👍🏻 Having said all of that, I'm, once again, feeling lucky that I have normal to dry skin at my age! My setting sprays of choice are the Charlotte Tillbury Airbrush Flawless and Urban Decay All Nighter. Like primer, I don't always remember to use the setting spray.
As a woman of elegance and distinction, I am loathe to let someone see me powder. It is a rare intimacy to let those moments be observed. My perfection must seem as natural as a sigh.
When I had oily skin, I used either rice paper, toilet paper or toilet seat paper. That absorbed the oil then I repowdered my face. Now I’m dry as a rock thanks to menopause.
@@VaivaPaula95 It is the middle of the paper seat gasket. In the states, we have a paper that covers the seat when you use a public toilet. I rip the middle part off and use that to get the grease off my face.
Polymer= a plastic type formulation???? Thank You Wayne for educating us. You are so kind. Since I was a little girl, I have adored compacts. In the late 1970's my mother took me to a vintage drugstore, in a very small town, close to home. Inside, they had the original soda fountain. Hand crafted shakes, malts, sundaes. Soda Pop was created and served in beautiful glasses. Also inside, behind ornate glass displays, we're vintage powder compacts, cake mascaras and bullet lipsticks. Lol, I could not waite to be a young lady so I could have a beautiful compact and a red bullet lipstick. Now that I am 50, I still long to try all the red bullet lipsticks 💄. Of course, they should be applied with the aid of a fabulous, compact mirror.💜
For those of you with oily skin... i have had oily skin for years and makeup never lasted beyond 3 hours.. so what i do now when there is a big event coming up is 7 days before the event i start using clay based face washes every other morning and a clay mask at least twice during those 7 days (at night) then the night before the big event i use a moisturising sheet mask (my favohrite is the garnier moisture bomb) this ensures that my skin doesnt get too dry from the clay masks and wash to over produce oils and that my skin has a balanced level of moisture. I even tried this on my wedding day in Morocco during the summer along with urban decay all nighter and my makeup lasted throughout the wedding and all the way until i woke up on the afternoon of next day (i dont normally sleep in my makeup but moroccan weddings are literally 8 to 9 hours long and last until the dawn of the next day along with having to change into several outfits, which my makeup also survived, so i was dead tired at the end and just plopped my head into the pillow and slept) 🤣
Thanks for the tip! I'm going to a wedding in a hot destination, combine that with masks & i was truly panicking. I wear makeup to cover my vitiligo so it coming off has been a real concern. I know it won't entirely fix the mask part, but if i could cut back on my oily ass face just a little i feel like I'll have a chance ☺️
Back in the day we just used Aquanet $1 hair spray, now I spend $30 for a liquid that I have no idea what it does but I'm told I need it so here we are.
I wish you would do a full face routine of all your best life changing base tricks over the years, priming with moisturizer, oil with foundation, blotting with a sponge, buffing with powder etc i could make a playlist on my own but id just like to see you do it all on one face just once :)
Oil blotting sheets (the plastic ones, not paper) are this oily girls best friend. Thank you, Wayne. I tried Nikkia Joy's setting spray (she talks about her oily skin at length). What a waste of money that was.
Omg THANK YOU SO MUCH for the that end card with the summary points. Please keep doing this. I wish every video that is educational or a tutorial on *anything* ended like this to bring the messages home.
I have very oily skin and also very active so I sweat a lot. On the days I apply my skincare, prime and set with the tiniest dusting of powder, and a few spritzes of Urban Decay All Nighter before foundation, my makeup has never felt so good nor lasted as long. It has been my favorite trick to prevent the break down. Normal people probably don't need so many steps, but I'm in theater. Thank you for sharing Wayne, I love learning from your videos.
Desperately tried to find a setting spray or primer to deal with my t-zone, 50 products later and I bought blotting paper and a small powder to carry around.
Same here except I use a nitrile glove to blot throughout the day (I'm a nurse). It's thicker and I can wrap it around my finger for more control in certain areas of my face.
Have you tried to find out what ingredients help with oily skin as you may be using products that encourage oil production. You didn’t state what specific issue you’re struggling with. I’ve done quite a lot of research for my own skin, so may be able to direct you somewhere useful.
Moisturize that area with hyaluronic acid from the ordinary. It will stop your skin making the oil. And it prevents wrinkles too! I worked at skin care for a plastic surgeons office. Try it! And use eye primer on your nose too, and it won't rub off your nose by the end of the day
As someone with dry skin I love setting spray! It looks way less dry than powder and provides staying power. Skindinavia original and bridal as well as Urban Decay All nighter work well for me. Don't drown yourself the way a lot of people seem to do. If you do that, then you're just washing off all your makeup.
With my dry skin I tend to not use powder and I have fine lines now so I’m even more scared to use a powder. But since I prefer a glow to my skin I use NARS and a dewy setting spray because I do NOT want my face looking dull or dry. And they do work for my eye makeup.
It all makes sense now! I have oily skin and no setting spray has EVER worked for me. Wayne I’d love an updated oily skin base video. Would rcma work? How would I set this for oily skin
Oily skin here,, setting sprays don’t work for me I become the shiny ball he talked about ,, translucent setting powder does wonder for my makeup longevity..

Thank you so much for this. As a makeup artist of 8 years. I always feel I'm expected to wave a magic wand with those who have a really oily skin type. I do explain a lot starts at home, with skin care too. But it's good to know even you will say touch ups are essential with oily skin 🙏
PvP or amP are the ingredients in the setting sprays that create a film over the skin to prolong your makeup. It’s usually right after the water and alcohol.
Long before setting sprays, I used to spray my face with a Evian water spray can: If my face was too powdery, The fine mist of water was a great solution!
I literally had the mac website open in another tab with the fix+ in my cart and a coupon code copied and ready to go when I saw this video just in time. My oily skin and I yeeted out of there! Thank you WG, you saved me the $$$
As an oily person, I appreciate the honesty! Rarely do products work for me, especially the products marked for oily skin. Makeup literally drips down or absorbs into my skin. I have no interest in spraying hairspray onto my face, and this confirms my stance.
Just picked up LA COLORS Setting Spray for $1.25 at family dollar which is hypoallergenic with no sensitive alcohol/fragrance. 100% skin safe rating. I have dry skin. Have never used a setting spray, but might try. WAYNE: you're an incredible good human being. Love you., and a genius at your craft.
My whole face, especially my eyelids, is a well of oil. It literally dissolves all sorts of eyeliners, mascara and gives me panda eyes. So I have to set it really well if I ever wanna put eye makeup on.
I have learnt so much by watching Wayne Goss. So straightforward and knowledgeable. He is the only make up guru worth listening to in my opinion. The others just fade into oblivion in his wake.
Idk as a oily skin person setting spray was a game changer. I still use them and only blot my face with tissue and never touch up bc I can NOT deal with another compact breaking in my makeup bag. Love ya Wayne no compact will ever enter my purse ever again.
So enjoyed this video! I am 63 and have never used a setting spray. I am leaning away from combo skin now to more normal . I can’t wear Double Wear anymore even with a great moisturizer under it. It looks way to flat and cakes on my skin even when I apply with a damp beauty blender. I am still in search of a good foundation that doesn’t lay heavy on my skin. I want my skin to show through even with the age spots. They don’t bother me. I have carried a compact with sponge in my bag since I was a teenager. Everyone use to laugh because they would say gotta powder that nose and apply some lipstick. Yes! Those things have always been important to me. Enjoy all of your videos so much !
Thank you, Wayne. As a genuinely oily-skinned person (as in I get shiny 15 minutes after applying makeup in all seasons - let’s not even talk about being an Australian in summer), I *trust* you. Us properly oily people appreciate your candor.
Thankfully it works for me. Powder makes me looked dry, cakey, and accentuates lines. I use primers to help with lines and tinted moisturizer. Plus hydrating moisturizers first.
I have super oily skin and I have found that Urban Decay De-Slick works wonders. Forget All Nighter and get De-Slick if you have oily skin. I find it keeps my skin dry for several hours and I can re-apply the spray to combat shine and oil.
I'm so grateful you posted this. I often wondered why my setting sprays didn't work. For some reason it never occurred to me that it was because of my oily skin! Thank you so much for breaking this down for us.
I used a setting spray over my makeup once for an outdoor concert one summer. I was sweating and it actually downpoured the last 10 mins of the show. Very pleasantly surprised that my makeup didn't slide right off of my face! My skin is very dry, with oily tendencies as the hours tick on but not enough for me to carry powder. It's probably the only time I've ever truly been impressed with setting sprays though.
Wayne, I absolutely adore you! You are my go to beauty guru. I bought my first ever setting spray by Skindinavia through your channel. I also bought their primer spray. I felt like I had upped my game and was so proud. I have nearly used all the product even though it did not work. Now you tell me? Now? I have oily skin and as you say now, that's why it won't work. I feel like a fool. But you did your job, got countless fans to buy Skindinavia and now you post this. "The big fat setting spray lie"... You made me feel swindled.
Omg finally an explanation! I had always wondered why my face always turned into a mess after a couple of hours of using setting sprays! I wasted so much money trying different ones and they all make me look like I rubbed straight chicken grease on my face. I'll try using it as primer then powder touch ups so maybe I can still get some use out of them. Thank you!!
Thank you for your honesty. That's why you are one of the beauty channels I still watch . Honesty, skills and no drama. I turn 60 this year and have become so comfortable in my ability to apply makeup that suits me. Yes, I too feel glam touching up my face with powder and lipstick .
I discovered Urban Decay De-Slick setting Spray. I'm oily and it is a life saver. I can blot or even have sweat on my brow. If I just blot, my makeup will stay all day. But I spray it before I do my eyes or block my eyes as I spray. It will melt my eye makeup as Wayne says. Plus, it gives me eczema on my eyelids.
Omg I’ve been using Herbal Essences “Set Me Up” Hairspray as makeup setting spray but been too embarrassed to tell anyone lol. I have oily skin and I find it works just as good as my urban decay all nighter 🤷🏼♀️ plus it smells delicious.
It makes perfect sense, I have dry skin and love setting spray, particularly the MAC type that is simply nice hydration spray to take away the powdery effect. I have zero oiliness on my skin, which sounds good in theory, but it's often problematic in real life. So yes I love shiny dewy hydrating setting spray❤️
I use Charlotte Tillbury setting spray as my primer ,before my makeup forever powder foundation. I do not use the spray after applying my powder foundation. This works wonders for me. In the winter I do not need touch ups with this method, but summer months, I touch up with powder a couple times per day. I love this method with these products. I am not super oily though. I'm more combination, leaning normal.
One that I really come to lake is by this company called KAB. It’s not your average setting spray. It’s not like the ones by urban decay. It’s actually really good. If you’re a person that does use a lot of setting powders like sometimes I do and it will come out creapy once I use a little bit of that spray it fixes everything but yes, I know what you’re talking about and that’s really annoying when that happens.

Love you.
The beauty community have you in a Wanted poster cause you expose their secrets 😁
😅👌
We the consumers paying thousands for products should not accept lies. I really appreciate these videos✌
A lot of them probably aren’t educated about the ins and outs of makeup to know this too, no shade at them at all
😂😂😂😂
He's the true OG 💖
The thing you forgot to mention is that you must blot the oil away before applying the powder so you don't get a cakey mess. That step is very important throughout the day.
I’m never without my blotting papers.
Yes!!! I see so many just pile powder on top of the oil and I’m screaming inside!!!
So true! Most times I can just blot and then don't even need any powder
Powder touch ups throughout the day to apply
an SPF-infused powder every 2-3 hours seems like the best way to go, both to make sure we protect our skin by reapplying SPF and also to keep makeup looking fresh!
I only use setting spray when I want my makeup to "dissolve" and look better. Also, Wayne Goss is a Beauty Guru's Guru. He's so OG.
Try innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder or Etude House No Sebum Powder.. Lookup on their reviews as setting powder for oily skin on UA-cam. Saviour
Thank you
❤️ from Shannon in Canada 🇨🇦
I still love Shiseidos oil blotters for my oily t-zone.
Ugh, your content is GOLD!!!❤️ I’m so glad you’re still on UA-cam being you🥺
Finally someone said it! My oily face agrees! 😁
I knew it!! I love that Wayne actually tells us the truth about products. Also, love your sweater❤️
Agree, the sweater is very attractive on him
So dapper
Was wondering where I could get that sweater!
Personally, I use my setting spray to make my eyelashes stay up. Right before I curl my lashes y apply like 3 sprays to my entire face and after it dries I curl my lashes and they stay up until I wash my face (without mascara)
That’s so creative! I’m going to try this, thanks!!
Loved this
Omfg I'M GONNA TRY THIS
Oh wow!
What setting spray do you use 👀?
I'm a little jealous lol I want one!
Yeah me too lol
Sounds beautiful & I used to have a nice mirror, but then you carry powder (which usually has a mirror too) separately right?
I always wanted one. I don't know why I never bought myself one! I'll have to look for one. I did buy a YSL lipstick... beautiful packaging. (Nice lipstick too!)
I, as a chemistry person, really love, how you explained the chemistry behind all of this in a "user friendly" way. Great job and wonderful insights!
Wayne: GORGEOUS CREATURE
Me: 🤭 Awww thanks
What struck me about what you said is how the setting sprays break down makeup and how so many influencers say it "melts my makeup together." They probably thought that was a good way of explaining that it blends it together seamlessly when it actually WAS melting their makeup together.
This is why I love Wayne. He’s not bs and knows what he’s talking about. Makes sense why some setting sprays didn’t work for me as an oily skin girl.
Wayne the detective and exposer of makeup hahaaaa
That’s what I just said, “Yeeeess, I LOVE truthers” hahaha
And then the video started with him in that sweater 💚💚💚💚💚💚 What’s not to trust 😊
You are so accurate and that comment is just adorable! Encantador un spanish
And in 🇺🇸, we have young, fresh, fun, well informed Hyram on utube, who is beyond awesome,helpful,natural,smart....like Wayne!!😘
The one that works best for me is Urban Decay Allnighter, I wanted to try CT Airbrush Flaw
Can I ask which you prefer? I have the UD one and wondered about the CT one?
When I had oily skin, I used either rice paper, toilet paper or toilet seat paper. That absorbed the oil then I repowdered my face. Now I’m dry as a rock thanks to menopause.
just out of curiosity: what is toilet seat paper?
@@VaivaPaula95 It is the middle of the paper seat gasket. In the states, we have a paper that covers the seat when you use a public toilet. I rip the middle part off and use that to get the grease off my face.
Same!!! I never thought I would WANT MY OILY SKIN BACK!! But I do!!! 😭 uugghh menopause!!!😡
Not that ive hit menopause, but I have dry/oily combo skin, and after being introduced to BB cream and cc cream, ive never looked back at foundation.
Oh gosh girl, same thing is happening with me these days...
I’m on a Wayne binge after just discovering him. Where have I been?! Love him ❤️
No one in this space makes me feel as loved and tenderly cared for like the way you treat us 😭. Thank god for your heart sir 💝
That’s it, I’m getting a compact because he’s right, they are glamorous x
What clay washes do you use?
I love how you always say a powder puff is glamorous. It just makes me want to use one!
Please do make a playlist!
The sweater is GORGEOUS!!! And I adore you so much.
So glad you addressed this
I prefer primers
“Beautifully created art piece that you just meticulously created yourself” GOD I LOVE YOU WAYNEY
Compact touch up are a must, so true for most. Thanks for the reminder.
Your voice and mannerisms are so soothing. Thank you.
As always: true tips, sense of humour and a gorgeous gentleman to give us advices!!! Much love from Portugal and this true fan 🥰😘❤
80% of the cosmetics industry is a big fat lie. It's called marketing!
Word!
EVERYTHING we buy is driven by marketing plus low key brainwashing.
Desperately tried to find a setting spray or primer to deal with my t-zone, 50 products later and I bought blotting paper and a small powder to carry around.
Search Angie's video on how to prep oily skin. Must be helpful
Cleanse, moisturise, a light powder and THEN foundation.
Try it! And use eye primer on your nose too, and it won't rub off your nose by the end of the day
One of the best make up artist I know!
As someone with dry skin I love setting spray! It looks way less dry than powder and provides staying power. Skindinavia original and bridal as well as Urban Decay All nighter work well for me. Don't drown yourself the way a lot of people seem to do. If you do that, then you're just washing off all your makeup.
do u use the original urban decay with dry skin?
He’s getting sexier with age!!!
Undoubtedly. 😉
Do you think he knows how attractive he is?
No.... he looks very different ie: older from his vids 5 yrs ago. He looks happier 5 yrs back. I heard what his accountant did by screwing him and hope they found him! Did they?
@@yasssgawwwd5643 oh yes.
he has prolly recovered from the scammer so now he looks more happy.
@@yasssgawwwd5643 whoa never heard of this. care to expand?
Thank you so much for this. As a makeup artist of 8 years. I always feel I'm expected to wave a magic wand with those who have a really oily skin type. I do explain a lot starts at home, with skin care too. But it's good to know even you will say touch ups are essential with oily skin 🙏
PvP or amP are the ingredients in the setting sprays that create a film over the skin to prolong your makeup. It’s usually right after the water and alcohol.
Long before setting sprays, I used to spray my face with a Evian water spray can: If my face was too powdery, The fine mist of water was a great solution!
I guess I will use my Avene spray
Wayne, I and so many others are glad we have you! Honesty is what so many lack.
I literally had the mac website open in another tab with the fix+ in my cart and a coupon code copied and ready to go when I saw this video just in time. My oily skin and I yeeted out of there! Thank you WG, you saved me the $$$
@@darthbaesiannn except the spray nozzle sucks most of the time and can cause you to get white spots on your face.
After all these years, I still live for the wink at the end
I started using charlotte tilbury's setting spray because of you wayne
I have learnt so much by watching Wayne Goss. So straightforward and knowledgeable. He is the only make up guru worth listening to in my opinion. The others just fade into oblivion in his wake.
I like your sweater it makes you look so country and cozy
So funny because I always figured setting sprays truly did nothing. Nice to hear they are supposed to serve a function and that some of them work.
Idk as a oily skin person setting spray was a game changer. I still use them and only blot my face with tissue and never touch up bc I can NOT deal with another compact breaking in my makeup bag. Love ya Wayne no compact will ever enter my purse ever again.
Hi which sprays are you using now? Which one is the best in your experience?
I’ve had really good success just spraying it on a q-tip and applying it to areas where I seem to get smearing like around my eyes, lips.
Hello how are you doing today 💝
Enjoy all of your videos so much !
your wink at the end makes me blush every. single. time.
Thank you for making this oily skin type girl feel sane!
Thank you, Wayne. As a genuinely oily-skinned person (as in I get shiny 15 minutes after applying makeup in all seasons - let’s not even talk about being an Australian in summer), I *trust* you. Us properly oily people appreciate your candor.
You’ve made me so much more confident in my makeup skills and it makes me feel so beautiful, thank you 🥺
Thankfully it works for me.
Oh my goodness, Wayne! You are a delight, sir. Thank you for your tutorials; you've demystified makeup without taking away from its magic.
“ the other pisser here and it is a pisser “ 😂😂😂😂😂
Lol a pisser ..my coworker used to say this all the time I thought it’s the funniest thing I ever heard and we would cackle and laugh
Such a pisser. Lol
Thank you!!
I looooove my NYX dewy mist setting spray!!! It’s sooo good!!! But also I have quite dry skin hehe
i feel like it's a dry skin holy grail because i love it too
I’m oily and I was convinced the more I sprayed my face the more control I’d have of the freshly applied makeup 🤡
That's what they "beauty gurus" WANT us to believe! Bless you, Wayne, for pulling back the curtain!
Is it safe to put hairspray on ur face ? Any hairspray????
@@wendysutheard5132 it can clogg pores

It's okay, I won't tell. I've done it too. Peace Sheila.
@EastEndery LOL I got way too into an editing app one day 😂
Instead of setting spray I use an hidrating spray and it makes my skin look great. I have found that out after years of playing with makeup
Wayne has romanticized the touchups whether powder or lipstick, for me. The idea has just stuck with me.
I always thought it was kind of glamorous:)
I just wish I had the time lol I’m always running around and I totally forget to do it!
Lol. Me too!! I ran out and bought a Charlotte Tilbury compact and Huda lipstick for my purse only.
