Verna petrol mein city sa zada punchy hai in low and mid revs. Honda city shines in top end. Zada usage shehar ke andar hai toh go for verna.

@09:03 yes same here. I have 4th Gen City iVtec 2019 model & not a single rattling sound inside the cabin. No issues ever. I think Honda has done some cost cutting in the build quality of 5th gen City.
When people say "That's why people prefer SUVs in India (due to road clearance)", I wonder where were SUVs 15 - 20 years back. Have roads become worse in India or have Indians suddenly inculcated this habit of offroading, that every family needs a SUV to combat the terrains. Think it's more about people's preferences to follow the overall trend rather than facing any true and serious concerns while driving an SUV.

But in sedan you have to speed down and wait and look your way if there a bad patch
If this happen once in journey then its ok for the comfort that sedan give on whole journey but if there are more patches then suv or even high ground clearance raised hatchback become better choice

Even though the car is outstanding, out here in northeast region it is not practical as the roads are bad. Best to be driven within city limits only.

I am also very happy with my Honda City V MT 2020, covered 10k km till now without any glitch from car or from ground clearance perspective. I have taken it to Jammu, Mussorie and Shimla without any problem.

I have both 4th and 5th generation. 5th is more spacious and premium as compared to 4th. If cost doesn’t bother you then go for 5th generation.

@@proudindian982 To me Build quality seems to be more strong of 4th gen but i would say we should rely more on NCAP ratings rather than belief. And build quality on the basis of look and feel, 5th is much better.
I own 3rd Gen Manual, 5th Gen ZX CVT. honestly, 3rd is better than 5th Gen in the stability because of low ground clearance. I have covered 1.65L km in 3rd Gen and 17k+ in 5th Gen.
Comfort - Both are good
Space - 5th Gen little more
Engine - As usual honda petrol ivtec
Service Cost - Affordable
Infotainment, touchscreen - old school
The biggest drawback - no volume knob in 5th gen [ Honda guys are some nonsense, in this case ]
The noise with a dashboard of the 5th, I am also getting. but it has no solution. I have taken honda guys around 100km but they are not ready to do anything, they did something but no use. because they themselves don't know anything.
It is not occurring all the time, in some cases, it occurs. Now I started ignoring this. because no other option🤣
Honda should really concentrate on these noise issues because nowadays honda is getting really bad reviews from the customers which has not happened with the previous version like 1,2,3,4 Generation of the city.

Full tank i have driven 535 km
As well 460 km...
I have VCVT model
Smooth like butter
Cost is same as manual VX
But comfortable you get with automatic is class apart ..
Top speed 200 km /hr believe me it was flying as road KMP expressway loaded with humps just for 30 seconds I tried but will never recommend it's like inviting yamraj
At max 140 you can speed up but that is also not safe ...
With paddle shifters you can accelerate and easily make sharp turn even above at 120 km /hr speed ..
My fav speed is 110
On highway just put it on cruz mode
Speed 110 or 100 km/hr
People comment that it this is not performance car as compare to manual
I have driven both performance or tyre spin you get in manual but differene is only in initial few meters ...
Final verdict: Take cvt transmission you will never regret

You feel like driving a royal car.
Don't use wide angle camera. It doesn't look good and not showing the exact size of car and all. Other things are good.
I have Honda Amaze 2018 even till today I did not face any issue even I used to drive many more hundred to 150 speed it is the one of the best and most powerful car on the road and more stable on the road while turning taking you won't feel that you are driving the car

Because there is always a comfort when u drive ur own car. For the first 2k km i felt that my 4th gen was better but after sometime 5th gen honda city started feeling much better.
That's because you can't buy 5th gen at present.

Ground clearance of city is sooo sooo low that you just cant live happily on every second speed breaker or pothole
It is not low people live happily .
Verna, tata bolt, and many other cars have the same ground clearance. I dont think this is a specific isssue in city. Its just normal clearance
People survive with 155 mm of Ground Clearance in Hilly Areas which have much more bad roads, it's just a hype created by people for Fake SUVs

Facing this rattling issue in my 5th gen city as well. Completed 5k km in 2 months.
People in service centre always says that this is not an issue (rattling) but going to raise this concern with SS head now. Also there is one more issue which i am facing, when i shift from 1st to 2nd gear, there is a little lag like for half a second jaha gadi race chod rahi h. not sure if other people are facing the issue, do let me know the solution. I asked service centre to check spark plug, but they told me spark plug will be changed at 45k and there is no issue in there.

@@budgettraveler257 bro you just check out both cars and feel it , both are amazing cars the V tec of the city and TSI of the slavia is a gem , if you want to feel more power and torque right from the beginning 1.5 TSI is the one to go or if you want more comfort and a rev happy NA engine, city is a great choice
I would go for Kushaq only reason being higher ground clearance and seating position. Also, when you fold rear seat in these hatchback or compact SuV cars, you get more space just in case. If you have city only usage and roads are good all around go with a sedan. But, if you are traveller kind of person you should consider higher ground clearance vehicle to have stress free driving experience.

Can anyone Since Honda has announced VRS(voluntary retirement scheme) for its top management and shut down of its plant in noida ,is it symbolisam of Honda leaving india.Not only this but lack of innovation and poor line up with only city and amaze making most of the sales how gud can Honda survive in india.Because ford did the same mistake of no new products and no new facelifts and honda is following same .
Honda has announced various models like city hybrid and suv based on city but these are postponed again and again or is it just a hype to buy out some time so that it can sort things out before leaving.
When u look at the home financials it is evident that it has recorded lose of >1600 in the past 2 years.

Yes for that you can ask the SVC to refit the sunroof lining...they will insert foam paddings then.

Display cannot be so good as you desire, because good display means more clarity and brightness, brightness should be that level it doesn't interfere with driver while driving especially at night, it's only for safety that light and brightness level is designed for safety of drivers
