- (Skip to 0:34 for the siren activation if you wish) You can add this to my list of "wouldn't expect to be doings"! We were on our way through the area of this Allertor (which is the only one in PA!) on our way to my grandparent's house, and so I decided to ask the fire company to set it off me and they did! A BIG thank you goes to both the fire chief at East Huntington and Andrew (the firefighter who met me there for the test; hi to both of you if you're watching!) Other than the following answers to common questions, I have nothing else to report; like, comment, share and subscribe for more! ;)
"Before You Ask"
1. Yes, the rotator is broken and they plan to fix it.
2. This siren doesn't have a regular testing schedule, which is why I asked them to set it off for me.
3. It started to rain harder as I set up my cameras, so I decided to just send it and not wait it out!
Wow I live so close to this thing and never knew it existed. Thats crazy, great find!
Lol. That dude cutting the grass. LMAO
I purposely showed that part lol. He got dumped on with rain and got his ears blasted!
Allertors = toilets and P50 = giant buckets
This reminds of the federal signal 500 siren in my neighborhood... it got replaced by a t-128...
That's an oof.
Damn they really just mounted that on the platform and said "fuck the rotator"
Okay now that's awesome. Good one Luke!
I'd agree with that, thank you!
Is this a requested sound off!
Awesome video! Always wanted to see/hear this siren in action - Allertors are one of my favorites. Too bad about the broken rotator but sounds awesome otherwise.
Thank y'all for 10K on this thing. 🙂
Okay thats pretty damn cool
Amazing video! Sounds nice and healthy. We only have one left in Ohio now too (was dead for over a year and thankfully they just fixed it last week). Could this be an ex-Beaver Valley Nuclear unit, or is this Allertor too far from there to be from the plant? (I'm not familiar with Pennsylvania since I've never driven through there so forgive me for my bad geography of the state lol).
This siren is too far off from there! The guys there were saying that it might have been an old civil defense siren.
@@lukemicsky3086 Ah, that would make sense. Great video once again, always nice to see videos of these beasts.
firefreak57 where’s the last active alert or in your state or was it replaced by now
@@ThunderTrain2930 no i've been looking at the state siren map and it's still there but didn't say anything else as far as i remember
rarest find in pennsylvania! great job!
Rarest because it's the only active allertor in the state. For all I know
Hey, I'm gonna be recording a siren near Harrisburg. Any suggestions?
This is in Harrisburg but try Cumberland hills there siren is in the back of the station at the beginning of the forest
highspire 55 no, that siren isn’t in Harrisburg. This is in Tarrs, PA, several miles south of Pittsburg
That is a sweetly timed attack. Maybe try rerecording this one sometime when its not raining with better audio.
This is amazing
this is the ONLY aca allertor in pennsylvania
He ummm.... CentralPASiren i found out when shippensburgs 53 Cumberland Vally siren went off i don't know if it still does but it test at Saturday at 2:00 P.M
This siren is very hard to find especially in Pennsylvania.
It's the only one in the entire state!
Beaver Valley Nuclear plant in Shippingport PA 40 miles northwest of Pittsburgh had 65 ACA allertors and Banshees till they installed a new system of FS 2001 equinoxes. The allertors in Georgetown and Ohioville dubbed as Beaver Valley sirens and the house siren for the fire station
Strange, that’s first due to one of our terminals, and yet the exact location of that siren eludes me. I drive by there at least twice a day. Unless...is that the fireman’s club on the right?
Late reply, but yes, that would be correct. This is in the back area of the company grounds.
Luke Micsky thank you
You guys silly? He's still gonna send it
MAJOR FOAMAGE
Darn it, I was looking for a foam emoji and couldn't find one so I'm not sure how to reply 😂
Exactly yes I needed this video.
Awesome video!
Thanks Mitchell! It turns out I didn't need your help after all lol.
You and I need to meet up before school starts damn that looks rad
It might be hard to do, but I'll see what I can do for that!
HEY I LIVE IN TARRS i here that siren on fire calls
Cool! Thanks for watching.
Think it goes off at 12 like dolphin county
It looked like there was a bad storm
Yeah, it blew in right as the siren started.
Nice video!
Thank you!
Nice Video!
Thank you!
Hey can you um do shippensburg 53 fire dept going off for test
I already asked once, but I'll do it again: when do they test?
Ok just don't know when they do i can ask my brother and tell you tomorrow
PS4 Gamer been 4 weeks
But i think shippensburg 53 house siren goes off for test every Saturday 12:00 like dolphin county

🔥🔥🔥
Low mounted
Wait is this east huntingdon township holy god yes somebody got a video
oh that sucks the rotator's broken
I want to thank you oh my god ever since i discovered this i was praying to god that somebody would record a video and they did. I'm actually surprised that it's orange and not yellow because on streetview its actually a yellow color it looks like
www.google.com/maps/@40.1690355,-79.5937349,3a,15y,38.68h,89.59t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sAQZrO3dKPszIsuC8WCgchQ!2e0!5s20180601T000000!7i13312!8i6656
This is also the only active unit. There's as of 2018, an abandoned allertor for the BVPS in Monaca, next to a sterling, and an equinox,
No, it's definitely yellow in person. It's probably just my camera that makes it look orange.
CentralPASirens I guess so. But thank you for recording this. This has been on my list of rare things to see before they go, and the Allertor is my favorite siren. Sure, some day I’ll drive up here to look at it, but I’ve never been happier to learn that this is active, and the last active one in the state.
Sounds in Attack until 2:00 then Fire Call after that
How do you know there was a fire call after 2:00
@@ps4gamer596 by the way the Signal Pattern changes after 2:00 Attack has a shorter duration
Ok see it's im not an official wacker see my brother knows every siren and studyed them for 2 years
