      @@yellowflash6319 we bought rush in 2019 vs the expander and brv. it was only the E model then which was a 5 seater. we chose it because it has a higher ground clearance and bigger wheels and rear wheel drive. given the road conditions here with occasional flash floods . cons is it has a stiffer ride. i like this new ertiga now but i find the wheels too small for its body.

    I think - and this is as an absolute newbie to driving a car in Metro Manila - that given the price point and the no-coding benefits, a lot of people will think that the price point is just right, especially if fuel prices go up again like last year, at least for inter-city driving (and maybe some nearby out-of-town trips).

    I bought Suzuki Ertiga last Dec. 2023 during my vacation in the Philippines. We went to Ilocos Norte for a week, drove around that area. Fuel efficient, just like my Toyota Prius I been driving here in Daly City Ca. Am very happy with Suzuki. We will use it for traveling when I go home to retire this coming year 2025. Very nice car, first time to buy another brand aside from Toyota.

    I've never found myself a fan of cars in general as I don't think I never need it, I'm happy with my motorbike that gets me everywhere. But I rode Grab once and this was the driver's car and this car changed me since then. It was soooooo convenient. It's not chunky unlike the others that have so much unnecessary space. This was is a straight shooter. I like the space so much. Just enough. I'm currently looking for dealers in Mindanao that have other offers like free upgrades on certain features. It's such a nice and lovely car. :)

    We owned a 2016 Ertiga. The downside is there is no armrest in the front seat center and still there is no armrest in this 2023 Ertiga. So, we may just go with XL7 vehicle which has lots of room and a wide armrest front center.

    I've stated this on other reviews. Initially, I am underwhelmed by this release due to the fact that it's a bit different from the one teased at the PIMS, with some of the features not available, like the leather seats and 360 degree camera for example.
    But it's starting to grow on me now. It's starting to make sense in relation to pricing. And I must say, that pricing is perfect for what you're getting. Or maybe, just maybe, Autodeal has that effect on you. They just tell you what makes sense.
    Great job team! A full review and a royal rumble MPV comparo please! Haha. Cheers!

    I agree with a lot of comments below. Yes it’s a MILD hybrid. I owned a mild hybrid too and the car is now going 7 years. Battery (24V) lasted 4 years. 1.5L turbo 3-cylinder. I would say very efficient at 8L within metro Manila and 15L along the highway. My second car is another mild hybrid with a 48V battery 2.0L Turbo 7 seater SUV can achieve 12L per km on highway. This one is different than the my previous car. This mild hybrid is a 4WD electric motor assisted (rear wheel) during acceleration. Gasoline motor is front wheel. Start stop runs very smooth for the new car as compared to my 6 years old as technology on mild hybrid is more advance. Both cars are European made.

      The exemption is stupid. This would mean there will be a lot more cars on the road, which would mean an increase in traffic. People would not discard their non-hybrids and these will stay on roads idling its fossil fueled ass off, hence, CO2 emissions would increase. Let's also say we totally do away with crude oil powered engines, the emissions will still remain because the charging stations are powered by fossil fuels as well. Traffic will worsen = increase in need to recharge the batteries. So... the exemption is meh.

The prospect of acquiring another vehicle was no longer an option but a necessity. I believe, an earlier scholastic study was conducted on this and all data pointed back to the restriction forcing people to simply find alternative. The Number Coding would perhaps only work if our there is a reliable public mass transport system. Until then, this coding scheme will just the fall short of its intended purpose.

    What about the availability of the parts? Please make a review on after sales service. That's my main concern.

      I would be too harsh on judging a manufacturer on parts availability right now. All brands are bing bitten by the supply chain bug. Case in point know someone that got in an accident and needed a headlight on a BMW, took nearly 6 months to get it. It is high time the manufacturers got themselves sorted out. With that suzuki is usually good on parts

    Hindi siya hybrid, assist motor (dating alternator) lang siya sa pag accelerate when standing.. ang hybrid kasi kaya tumakbo whether gas or electric ng stand alone. Another marketing strat lang yang hybrid nila

    Naku Huwag nila smallen ang Suzuki dyan sa Pinas. Here in n Japan Suzuki is very popular . durable ang body and engine ng Suzuki. Maraming mountain and maliliit ang mga kalsada dito. Yakang yaka ng suzuki. Kaya many Japanese like size of Suzuki. Tipid pa sa fuel . It’s a smart choice. 😊

    PERO sa pagkakatanda ko lang, parang wala maxado nabago sa price;
    siguro dahil same displacement and power?
    sooooo - bka sa innova, mas bumaba ung price? from 2.8 to 2.0 displacement heheh
