No one really does PH Car reviews any better than AutoDeal!
The benefit in fuel efficiency is mostly in the city. With the regular Ertiga GL AT, you get around 8.5 - 9.5km/liter in the city, regardless of the traffic conditions. In the highway, at full load, 16-18. On a lighter load, up to 21km/liter. So highway readings is pretty much neck and neck since you don't really stop that much on the open road anyways (start-stop benefit is pretty much nullified).
And to re-affirm, the Ertiga's suspension is quite robust, it doesn't bottom out. I've loaded 9 on mine at one point, with six adults and 3 small kids. No feeling of bottoming out and still pulls quite decently. It's a solid, reliable MPV.
but if you end up replacing the liion batteries past its warranty period, whatever savings you made in fuel economy will be nullified by the cost of replacing said batteries.
How expensive is that Iiion battery? Please enlighten me, planning to have a Hybrid ertiga. Thanks

I heard that the hybrid batt cost you 150k but its warranty is 5yrs.. and the life span is 8 yrs or more.. the good thing is batt cost will be lowered in the future so no need to worry.. anyway i got my GL/AT variant 24 model 😊

Ng mag vacation ako last December mula Clark dinala na agad ako ng kapatid ko sa Suzuki Bataan, binili namin Ertiga nakuha namin the next day after paying direct to their account thru BDO, very satisfied sa Ertiga. Paguwi ko next year to retire , me sasakyan na magagamit kami sa long drive. I love long drive. I been driving Toyota hybrid here in CA, very satisfied

Love this episode! finally a review on consumption with full passenger capacity and a partial mukbang video 😆.. the Friendly new guy's face when left with the bill had me rolling 🤣🤣🤣.. Overall, the car's performance looks good and an available Manual Transmission variant too, now this is totally a car I can consider. I've driven both AT and MT but I always love driving our Manual Transmission Civic.

my peeve with these MPVs is the middle seat were designed for right hand drive. The middle seat is actuallly two seats. One narrow. The other wider. For RHD vehicles, the narrower seat is on the left side so that when people at the back need to alight, then you just fold that small seat and they can safely exit at the left side because RHD cars are for countries where they drive at the left side of the road. So its safer for passenger to alight at the left side. But when they assembled these MPVs for LHD countries, they decided to just use the same middle seat configuration. So you have to fold the wider seat for rear seat ingress/egress. The 1st gen innova had this issue. But on their 2nd gen the fixed it.
Caco is just a head above other car reviewers. Figuratively not literally of course 😂

The promotion of Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid is pretty intense, however, for those people who does not have knowledge on how hybrid works they would choose from its competitors, Xpander, Livina, Stargazer, Brv, Veloz, Avanza, Rush and even XL7. I haven't seen Ertiga hybrid on the road as of now.

Prob is when its engine stops during long traffic to conserve fuel, does it means the aircon also stops? How about when you drive uphill when fully loaded, esp in travelling to baguio?

To be fair to Caco, most of the reviews I've seen of him and the crew revolve around them looking for something to eat--except for that Baguio trip.

What is the difference of Ertiga's hybrid system vs the Okavango Hybrid system? Both are Mild Hybrid, wanted to know which one is better

It has 3cyl, helped by the turbo and 48v lithium battery.. there are already in utube failure from okavango just in for 2years, crazy, malayo sya sa durability kahit hindi hybrid ertiga..
Think about what happen to okavango when the wear and tear parts broken, which is the turbo and 48v lithium?.. it left the 3cyl to do the work..
and think about the ertiga with the same problem but less turbo...
Also how much a litium battery cost 48v vs 12v?

After 5 years the battery is expected to be replaced. I think it is around 50k.
Last year you said Ertiga has 9.4 km/l city and 20 km/l highway. So no real improvement?
