Yea! Thank you for posting this awesome example of Lynyrd Skynrd's "Simple Man", one of my all-time favs. Greatly appreciate all your efforts. Your comments regarding living simply and appreciating these nuggets of life hits home as my wife and I are now in my twilight years and truly appreciate these concepts. Milton
Thank you for your support! This was such an amazing performance of one of the greatest songs of all time! I hear ya because the older I get the more I realize what matters and what doesn’t! Such an iconic band! I really enjoyed watching them and being reminded of such an amazing song! 🤘🏻
This is not original Lynyrd Skynyrd Band. Also, their best song was Freebird. It is known as top tier song. There are two versions Oakland and Knebworth. The one in Knebworth is far the best. They opened for The Rolling Stones, told not to use a part of the stage, which they did. Mick Jagger didn't come on stage for 2 hours, I hear. I don't think he said anything to Ronnie Van Zant. He was known to be a fighter. They had already blowed The Stones off the stage. The original Simple Man Live with Ronnie is LSB best. I was of this generation. LSB was in the plane crash that took the lives and maimed the band. The singer now is Ronnie's brother. All the original band except one (not in this band version) have passed away. There is a lot of story to them and many, including myself, thought they were on their way to being huge stars. Give Freebird Knebworth a listen.
