Great video...exactly what I will need to fix this issue. However, I think the part numbers are reversed: 3204267 is for the thermostat, and 137539200 is for the thermal limiter. Thanks again!!!
Our Electrolux (electric) dryer suddenly stopped working last night. Pressed start and heard the hum of a motor trying to start and then stop. I followed your instructions on how to access the motor (just like your video) and discovered that the blower was "frozen". I applied some pressure and heard a "snap" which resulted in the blower and motor now freely spinning. I think a small pebble was impinging the blower impeller and this action freed it. I put everything back (getting the idler pulley spring to stay was tricky) and voila! Dryer works! Thank you! This video saved me $$$ and laundry downtime. Love UA-cam.

I just want to thank you for your video. I have spent so much money on replacing the heating element in my Electrolux dryer over the few years I have had it; close to one a year. As you know how much that costs in service calls! I got the E64 code again, so with this video on how to take the machine apart, I, a 46 year old mom, was able to fix it! (I wish you would make note on the E66 video you have above that the E64 Electricdryer code is generally the heating element and make note of the part you would have to replace. This would have saved me soooo much time in research.) Either way, thanks so much for helping me fix my lemon of a dryer! I have shown this website to many and they are amazed!

Thanks for the video! I had an E64 code, and just needed to know to get to the heat element. Sure enough, the coils had expanded and made contact. Don't cross the beams, Egon!
Thanks again.

Hi there and thanks for making this video. I have the dryer open and the drum out. I have a multimeter but to be honest it is one of those tools I don't really know how to use. What setting do I put it on to test the doohickeys? What am I looking for on the multimeter to determine if its bad or good?
Also when I took the dryer apart there was a lot of lint, coins and some other misc debris in the bottom of the dryer. Is this normal or might I have a leak somewhere?

checked 3 of the thermal fusses' they have continuity... not open. I am leaning toward the main controller board being bad.. but would like to verify. Can't find any schematics of
the board. any idea's were I can get a copy of the schematic.?
Hello, question about the high limit thermostat - I don't want to put it in backwards & put the orange & red wires on the wrong posts. Is there a way to do that correct - the part has a different sticker so I cant line it up & the part is symmetrical. Thanks & sorry if it is a dumb question.

My electrolux dryer model EFME427UIW1 runs for like 3 seconds then turns off. No error code. What could this be?
My Husband and I watched this video and it was very helpful! We replaced the Inlet Thermal Cutoff and the High-limit Thermostat as stated in the video. I tried to run my first load and after about 10 minutes the dryer started beeping again and I got the same E66 Error Code. Any suggestions?

Hi, I have an electrolux electric dryer, it has a e 63 error. Now, I would like to fix it my selfbut I have no idea how to proceed. Can you please help?
Hello
Error E63 in your Electrolux Dryer indicates that the temperature inside is too hot/overheating, to start with check the vent and try to clean it. If still it's not resolved then the issue is with the thermal fuse going bad and needs to be replaced. It is mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. At 1:44, you mention "two screws on each side" at the door. I could opnly find one screw on each side. The front did not want to comw off. I coulod not get it to pull up enough to get the inside clips to unhook. Did you mean to say two screws on EACH side?
piddler
I see now that I missed this comment from two days ago. I will email the technician and get back with you on an answer. Sorry for the confusion.
You do answer questions as simple as did you mean 2 screws on "each" side? I am confused by your response to that question.
piddler
This was the comment you sent me ( Actually, the two screws I did remove went to the lint filter housing. ) We answer 800 free questions per month. I responded to your comment in parenthesizes. Do you have another question that I missed ?

My actual question was did the dryer have two (2) screws on EACH side at the door, or did it have two screws one on each side? Sorry if I am confusing you. :)
Thanks for the video.
piddler51
There are two screws on each side of the front panel, and two screws on the inside of the front door. So a total of six screws to hold the front door panel on.
***** Thank you very much for the clarification. This one must have been on very tight. I could not get it off. Maybe the clips were stuck. So, there are two screws at the top of the panel, two at the bottom of the panel and two inside the door. Or, as you say, two on each side and two inside the door.
piddler51
Yes that is correct, once all six screws are out you will need to lift up on the front panel to release from the front clips. HI IM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH A GE DRYER THE PROBLEM IS E 61 ERROR CODE AND NOT RUN SO CAN YOU HELP ME AND SELL ME PARTS WHAT I NEED FOR REPAIR THANKS BODY
Hello
E61 means you have the neutral and the L2 wire either reversed or in the wrong position. ENTER TEST MODE SEQUENCE by doing the following . 1.Disconnect the power for 30 seconds.2.Reconnect the power and within 30 seconds press the sequence of buttons listed below.3.Press the "SIGNAL"button.4.Press the "DELAY START"button.5.Press the "SIGNAL"button.6.Press the "DELAY START"button. Now after you have fixed the reversed wiring problem you will need to remove the fault code fromt he memory otherwise the machine will not work. To remove the fault code do the following ENTER TEST MODE
SEQUENCE (cont.)
You will notice "t01". To choose the test mode that you want to verify, turn the knob to the desired test mode setting.
Push the start/pause button. To cancel the test mode, press on "power".
You will be able to choose another test mode and again press on "start/pause".
The display error codes test allows the service technician to examine and clear the fault log.
DISPLAY ERROR CODES TEST
(t02)
The display error codes test allows the service technician to examine and clear the fault log.
The control shall display the most recent error in the fault log upon entry into the display error codes test. If there are no errors in the fault log, the no error code “E00”shall be displayed on the 7-segment display.
The control shall clear the displayed error from the fault log if the start key is pressed during the display error codes test. After clearing the displayed error from the fault log, the appliance shall display the next most recent error from the fault log.
After clearing all errors from the fault log, the control shall display the no error “E00”code on the 7-segment display.
The control shall log the last 8 error codes in the non-volatile memory stored in a circular list.
The control shall avoid logging multiple instances of the same error code. now unplug the appliance for about 30 seconds and replug and everything should be fine i hope this helps diagnose our issue. Call or parts department at 1-800-830-5465 if you need any parts help Thanks
