    Very well explained, many thanks!!! This was an excellent demo and visual tutorial.
    This is VERY STUPID DESIGN BY FRIGIDAIRE! They could have given us an access panel from the back? I might just cut myself an access panel with my angle grinder for easy cleaning and access to thermal fuse. Ridiculous design to do major surgery on an appliance to replace a part that will need replacing every 5-10 yrs. Typical of appliance makers!

    JFC 😂 manufacturers really need to rethink their design... This is so ridiculous to have to disassemble the entire machine just to change a fuse... Like they couldn't create an external access door???
    Thank you for the video! Nothing against skilled technicians ❤

      This is like having to tear down an car engine to replace fuse in the ignition. Ridiculous

      omg LOL this is a technician training video. it's meant to show how to fill the entire hour they bill so the customer doesn't feel ripped off. You can remove the fuse by simply removing the back panel and then remove that pipe with one screw. The fuse replacement is then as you see here. Literally on this model it's a 10 minute job

    seems like a reasonable spot to put a fuse.

    So great video but my Frigidaire is a standup dryer on top of washer, is the fuse located in the same place cause I don’t see it on the round tube part all I see is the therm-o-disc heat sensor little black box looking sensor, thanks Model #FFLG3911QW1

      @@brandonhemrick5709 Yeah, take off the top, then the front top face of the dryer, remove the round drum then look up on the back wall on the left side you will see it mounted small circle fuse with two wires going to it

      I see what I think is a fuse on the top right(facing the dryer) that's with out removing the drum. But i do have continuity.

    How to remove thermal fuse in a fridgidaire range

    • @appliancepartspros
      @appliancepartspros  Рік тому

      It varies model to model. Some may not have a fuse at all. I would advise to obtain the model number of the range and head over to our Facebook group for more model specific troubleshooting. facebook.com/groups/fixmystuff

    you literally don't have to do any of this. this is a video to show technicians how. to fill the. 1 or 2 hours they billed the customer. The thermal fuse is located on the outlet pipe accessible by simply removing the back panel and unscrewing it from the pipe. It's literally a 10-minute job.
