I agree with you about Gaz. I only started watching him a week or 2 ago and subscribed because he is so funny and I adore fendy. I love how he tells you some history on where he goes too. The first time I commented on his channel, he answered me and I was very surprised. The first "monster in the woods" Brit camp video I ever saw was from Step Away from the Screens. It was scary but I think it was unintentional because Nobby seemed to be amused/confused by the responses he got. He made fun of it in his next video. I just presumed Gaz was following that lead.

Never said he as a person is fake, but I certainly have strong suspicion that that particular video was, I even said he's a decent bloke and he is, it's not just me that suspect that video wasn't quite right, but your certainly entitled to your opinion of it as am I, I like his channel I've been subbed for ages and often comment on what great vids he does, just not that particular one. Really enjoyed this Mick. Chat with Gaz quite a bit and can confirm he’s a good un. There’s 2 types of clickbait. 1 that entices the viewer but delivers at some point in the video ( bit like this one 😂) and then there the BS that really doesn’t show anything about what the title or thumbnail is about. Unfortunately youtube is about getting the click, so you have to be creative. Gaz is good at that so deserves his success 👍🏻

I have only recently found grizzly gaz and I think he is amazing. The love and passion that he has for camping and the outdoors is Incredible and you can tell he puts a lot of time and effort into his videos, I love when he uses his drone ..you seem nice as well so I'm subscribing to you now 😅.
“Personal perspective” not trying to throw shade at anyone and not trying to start debates or arguments… that said I’m in no doubt that gaz “or the other person mentioned in your video that we all know who he is” are both good people and genuinely down to earth and both just want to make something of their channels. That said the making a big thing of the deer incident and the mocking from the pro gaz side of the fence is a bit hypocritical in my opinion. I remember far before deer’gate shall we say when we had gaz in “haunted” woods and human pig ghost like aliens walking amongst his camp I also remember night vision poncho man making his debut all before “deer’gate” and the ultra clickbate tittles they had. I can’t remember off the top of my head but we then got the gaz hills have eyes episode with the guy that appeared in a wet muddy wood in fairly clean and dry order to sit down for a romantic steak dinner and could have been mistaken for a mate of gaz’s acting out the part of a homeless person living in the woods well away from the safety of the majority of the homeless community?. I gave up on gaz after that episode it wasn’t about bushcraft or even wild/stealth camping at this point it was clickbate with a veil of z list inde horror plot. But again I’m sure he is a nice guy I’m sure his heart is in the right place I’m sure he wants his UA-cam footprint to grow but if he acts as he is recently he will not attract the audience he originally targeted he will just become a troll magnet. The other guy however yes he did the “deer’gate” episode but look at it in a open minded opinion “not one of someone who openly admits they get comments regularly from gaz and even was gifted a tent inner skin for nothing…” deer’gate happened after the gaz with the thing in the dark and poncho man and I feel like there was others being chased off site or moved on middle of the night etc. so was deer’gate something to be mocked or was it mocking people like gaz who have gone from informative channels to z list inde horror skit channels?. And just as a reference to my position I was subbed to both and watched all the episodes now have unsubscribed from gaz but I don’t watch the other guy as much now as he didn’t do anything that crazy it wasn’t over the top acting in multiple episodes it didn’t take over the channel or stray what the channel was about. So as much as I’m defending one side more I’m not sucking up to him I don’t really comment much I don’t worry if I miss episodes etc. I just felt that seeing just how much you have been sucking up as a undertone in this video I wanted to make my point of view back to you that it’s a blatant waste of time trying to make it sound fair and impractical when you are obviously a long time fan who communicates regularly even to the point you have received a gift at no charge. But that is ok you can stand up for your friends or those you are a fan of but to make another channel look bad for something that the very channel you are supporting has done even to the point of abusing that folly storyline is not a good look it’s just petty. If you hadn’t brought that up the more observant of us would probably agree and give you a like but when it’s all on UA-cam for the world to see you dropped yourself and gaz in it. Any way first time seeing your channel I know Il probably not be welcomed back because of my view and opinion but that’s cool I’d rather say it how it is than twist it to try and look 👍🏻.

Iv seen a channel recently “nothing to do with bushcraft” who pre covid was doing well and in the covid boom was hitting 10k viewers for a live stream last night I spotted he was live and had 37 viewers mid way through his live. Moral of the story is it can come and go in a instant but if your time comes let it be don’t take others with you “unless with you is up”. Only just seen this video but I think there is an important theme here ie (Gaz does or has titled video's with sensational themes) . I love Grizzly Gaz's video's and am not a fan of the (click baity ones) but at the end of the day youtube and social media is very populated/over populated it kinda reflects our capitalist society but I agree the sensationalist stuff does put me off but he produces enough honest/ no nonsense to still follow him best wishes to you and Gaz.

Gaz's channel recently appeared on my...news feed?? probably because I've been doing a lot of searching for hiking gear, boots mainly, anyway I watched a couple of his videos and I loved them, much better than watching the carp that's on the tele, so I subscribed to his channel. I don't go camping but I do occasionally like to go walking in the hills, so I can kinda relate to what he's about, and now you, Mick Outdoors, have just popped up, so I gave your video a watch and I twigged straight away from your terrible accent that you're from my neck of the woods 😆...Anyhow, you just got a new subscriber, and take care out there

I can’t remember off the top of my head but we then got the gaz hills have eyes episode with the guy that appeared in a wet muddy wood in fairly clean and dry order to sit down for a romantic steak dinner and could have been mistaken for a mate of gaz’s acting out the part of a homeless person living in the woods well away from the safety of the majority of the homeless community?. I gave up on gaz after that episode it wasn’t about bushcraft or even wild/stealth camping at this point it was clickbate with a veil of z list inde horror plot. But again I’m sure he is a nice guy I’m sure his heart is in the right place I’m sure he wants his UA-cam footprint to grow but if he acts as he is recently he will not attract the audience he originally targeted he will just become a troll magnet. The other guy however yes he did the “deer’gate” episode but look at it in a open minded opinion “not one of someone who openly admits they get comments regularly from gaz and even was gifted a tent inner skin for nothing…” deer’gate happened after the gaz with the thing in the dark and poncho man and I feel like there was others being chased off site or moved on middle of the night etc. so was deer’gate something to be mocked or was it mocking people like gaz who have gone from informative channels to z list inde horror skit channels?. And just as a reference to my position I was subbed to both and watched all the episodes now have unsubscribed from gaz but I don’t watch the other guy as much now as he didn’t do anything that crazy it wasn’t over the top acting in multiple episodes it didn’t take over the channel or stray what the channel was about. So as much as I’m defending one side more I’m not sucking up to him I don’t really comment much I don’t worry if I miss episodes etc. I just felt that seeing just how much you have been sucking up as a undertone in this video I wanted to make my point of view back to you that it’s a blatant waste of time trying to make it sound fair and impractical when you are obviously a long time fan who communicates regularly even to the point you have received a gift at no charge. But that is ok you can stand up for your friends or those you are a fan of but to make another channel look bad for something that the very channel you are supporting has done even to the point of abusing that folly storyline is not a good look it’s just petty. If you hadn’t brought that up the more observant of us would probably agree and give you a like but when it’s all on UA-cam for the world to see you dropped yourself and gaz in it. Any way first time seeing your channel I know Il probably not be welcomed back because of my view and opinion but that’s cool I’d rather say it how it is than twist it to try and look 👍🏻.
Hey of course your welcome, and thanks for a very well thought out comment, i welcome constructive criticism which yours is, I'm sorry that you feel I was sucking up to Gaz and it may have come across that way, originally it was just going to be a short thanks to him for the inner, but at the time of me doing the vid, the deer incident had happened so I thought whilst I was defending certain click bait titles I would mention it, should I have done the few second p take at the end, probably not, but it was only a ribbing, as I mention in the vid I think he's a decent lad I just personally felt that video was a step to far me to believe.

I just think it’s something we really don’t need at the moment is to attack other channels “unless they are causing harm to the community or other individuals” UA-cam is a tough place to be post covid for creators and one joke could be taken out of context and not only ruin that person’s channel but the person who made the joke if it is found to be unfair or unfunny. Iv seen a channel recently “nothing to do with bushcraft” who pre covid was doing well and in the covid boom was hitting 10k viewers for a live stream last night I spotted he was live and had 37 viewers mid way through his live. Moral of the story is it can come and go in a instant but if your time comes let it be don’t take others with you “unless with you is up”. Only just seen this video but I think there is an important theme here ie (Gaz does or has titled video's with sensational themes) . I love Grizzly Gaz's video's and am not a fan of the (click baity ones) but at the end of the day youtube and social media is very populated/over populated it kinda reflects our capitalist society but I agree the sensationalist stuff does put me off but he produces enough honest/ no nonsense to still follow him best wishes to you and Gaz.

Gaz's channel recently appeared on my...news feed?? probably because I've been doing a lot of searching for hiking gear, boots mainly, anyway I watched a couple of his videos and I loved them, much better than watching the carp that's on the tele, so I subscribed to his channel.
